Sorry, but I didn't take this too seriously when I saw Quick powder on rhyperior.

1. It only works for ditto.

2. The powders suck anyways they don't work on ditto when it transforms.

Also, Speed evs on rhyperior is horrid. It's speed sucks so bad. Put them into Hp to grant it survivability.

Sora_8920 August 9th, 2008 11:51 AM

Also, Timid Nature is horrible on Weavile. ._. Jolly >> Timid and Brick Break > Aerial Ace.

Timid on FailGengar >> Naive. Wide Lens, Life Orb, or Leftovers >> Salac. EDIT: Also consider Pursuit >> Fakeout on Weavile.

I didn't know that the powder only works for ditto, I was looking for quick claw on shoddy, apparently they didn't have it. Thanks for the suggestions, I haven't played a single game since gsc......

Ice Shard is a lot better priority than Fake Out. All Fake Out does is give you a free turn to do nothing. IMO, it only works in double battle strategies, and then rarely.

Metagross @ Liechi berry Life Orb
6 hp/252 attack/ 252 speed
Adamant Nature
Agility
Meteor Mash
Explosion
Earthquake
Standard agiligross, meant for sweeping.

Liechi Berry doesn;t hlelp on slow pokes. Life Orb pl0x.

Vapereon @ Leftovers
252 sp defence/252 sp attack/6 hp
Modest nature
Toxic
Surf
protect
wish
Tanking Vappy for me
I would consider putting some of those EVs from sp. attk into speed, as the sp. attk is only there on Vappy to guarantee an OHKO on Chomp with Ice Beam, which you don't have. Also, you want def EVs there for survivability.

Rhyperior @quick powder Choice Band/ Life Orb
252 attack/252 speed/6 hp
Adamant nature
Earthquake
Brick Break Avalanche
Megahorn
Stone edge
Physcial sweeper for me
Quick Powder is for dittos only, lol. Quick Claw does nothing for this guy, so band it. I would actually replace this for a wall for support, seeing as you have none. Scrap it. Bring in Bliss, Lax, or Cress for this guy.

Suicune @ leftovers
252 sp attack/252 speed/6 hp
Modest nature
surf
calm mind
roar
Ice beam
Standard cmcune, has won me several matches
K

Gengar @salac berry Choice Specs/Wide Lens
252 speed/252 sp attack/6 hp
Naive nature
Psychic/Hypnosis
Focus blast
Thunderbolt
Shadow ball
For type coverage and to pick up the slack of the rest of my team.
Salac Berry doesn;t work, as Gengar is very frail. Use Hypnosis to get the advantage, and put specs if u go with psychic, or wide lens for better acc. on F-Blast and Hypnosis.

What you need to do to make this team better is the following:
- Change movesets according to my commnets
- Scrap Gengar and Rhyperior. Bring in some walls to support your team, as this isn;t much of a sweeper team. I would recommend CB Lax>>> Perior, and Gliscor>> Gengar. You also have a slight LO DD Gyara weakness. Instead of Roar on Suicune, as you have no spikers/rockers, run HP Electric to counter Gyara.

All in All, your team should be Weavile/Gross/Vappy/Lax/Cune/Gliscor. If you want some Lax sets, ask me cuz theres a lot of sets out there for Lax. Gliscor is pretty standard,

[email protected] Leftovers
Impish Nature
252 Def/ 252 HP/ 4 Atk
Earthquake
Roost
Aerial Ace/ Ice Fang
Taunt

I leave that third slot to you from those two options. Ice Fang for coverage on the dragons, who can do quite a number on you as well, or Aerial Ace For Hera.

Fake Out actually makes a little bit of sense with all of those Sash Azelfs and Sash Deoxys-E's running around as leads nowadays.

Though it usually works a lot better on Infernape because it can take Bronzong out as well.

NerdSparks August 10th, 2008 10:42 AM

AA was only usable back in the old days, even then, it still sucked. -_-
