What pokemons do you use in double battles?

There are some good techniques you can use, and I'm gonna share mine with you. Feel free to post any technquiqe of your own!

I use Groudon and Tropius. Groudon has drought (summons sunlight) which makes Tropius much faster (because of his ability), and can shoot the solarbeam without charging up, so I use solarbeam together with Groudons earthquake, which damages all pokemon on the battlefield (except the pokemon using it, I believe), even your own. But, Tropius is grass/flying so he dosen't take any damage :D Flawless victory! :D

So, tell us about a good combination of your own :)

ok here's my double battle strategy

I like to use moves that hit both pokmemon at the same time
I don't really have a specific team that I use I usually try and go
for 1 physical sweeper and 1 special sweeper
most often I end up using

Slaking & Gardevoir

Slaking
@left overs
Bulk Up
Hyper Beam
Slack Off
Shadow Ball

Gardevoir
Calm Mind
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Will-O-Wisp

ok so they don't have moves that can hit enemy pokemon but
still, they're a pretty cool team.

Aerodactyl and Swellow

Aero uses Toxic on Swellow, activating it's ability Guts. Swellow uses Facade whose power doubles when inflicted with a status. Sweep away. Anything that might kill Swellow before it attacks is hopefully going to get pwned by Aero first.

Wow! Good tactic! However, as far as I'm concerned you can't get Aerodactyl in R/S/E... Well if you don't use a gameshark code or transfer it from FR/LG, which isn't released yet...

Gengar and Claydol

Gengar, being immune to Normal attacks, can survive when Claydol uses Explosion. So, I usually have both at the same time, Claydol can survive a hit or two, and Gengar is fast enough to hit first and do some decent damage. At the end of the round, Gengar is usually the only one on the screen before replacements are added. It's a 2 knock outs for 1 strategy, but it works.

Sub in any Ghost here, or anything with Protect to survive, and any one with Explosion to go boom. Simple but effective

EDIT: For the Swellow tactic, you can use Crobat instead of Aerodactyl, both are just as fast as each other, since Crobat is available in R/S, you can get one :-)
