Sora_8920 August 24th, 2008 4:21 PM

sims hate rofl. Anyway, Bold Bliss is outdated. Use Calm >> Bold. Not seeing the oomph in Expert Belt Starmie, but that's just me. Needs more Life Orb imo lol.

- Surf
- Thunderbolt

standard starmie (I think). expert belt to (I forgot what it does. don't blame me, haven't played diamond in a few months cause my brother lost it) the moves for type coverage.

Meh, ok. I hope this isn't your lead.

Garchomp @ Yache Berry
252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 HP
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -Sp. Atk)
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast/Fire Fang
- Outrage
- Swords Dance

standard CSchomp. fire blast to hit skarmory and not get walled by it. EQ, outrage, and SE are for everything else.

CS Chomp is outdated. Yache, CB or SubChomp are far superior in the current metagame. There are better Scarfers out there at the moment, and it doesn't stop you from being beaten by Deoxys.

Heracross @ Flame Orb
252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 Hp
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -Sp. Atk)
- Close Combat
- Facade
- Megahorn
- Swords Dance

standard FlameCross. SD to boost it's attack to 1000+, facade because it'll get burned by the flame orb, CC for stab.

Megahorn >> Stone Edge. You wanna run with your two STAB attacks.

Blissey @ Leftovers
252 Def, 80 Sp. Atk, 176 Sp. Def
Calm
Natural Cure
- Ice Beam
- Seismic Toss
- Softboiled
- Thunder Wave

evs so it has max hp and def to survive an infernape's CC. can also take special hits and it barely does anything.

You shouldn't be staying in on Infernape anyway. Sp. Atk EV's are so you 2HKO Garchomp. That EV's spread is the current, Bold Blissey has been relegated to last year. (July 07 I believe. :x)

Cresselia @ Leftovers
252 Hp / 160 Sp. Def / 96 Sp. Atk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Psychic
- Sleep Talk
- Ice Beam
- Rest

yes, I know moonlight isn't good, but I don't see any SS teams, so I have nothing to worry about with it. CM to higher it's sp. def and sp. atk.

Resttalk >> Moonlight. This also gives you a status absorber. Psychic provides STAB and gives you a very good Infernape counter, so you won't need to worry about changing the Blissey set.

Forretress @ Leftovers
252 HP / 6 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Explosion/Light Screen
- Gyro Ball
- Spikes/Earthquake
- Stealth Rock/Earthquake

standard forry (I think). 0 speed iv makes gyro ball more effective. explosion for a filler.

Running 4 Spd IV means you don't lose any power on Gyro Ball, but you do outspeed opposing Forretress that run 0, so perhaps think about that. Consider Earthquake for the likes of Metagross and Electivire. Particularly Gross, who will use you as Meteor Mash fodder to up it's attack stat.

Exploding Forretress means you have a very bad Deoxys-E weakness, leaving Cresselia the only pokemon able to stand up to it. I don't see a proper lead, because Starmie certainly isn't. I don't see the use of Starmie tbh. Cresselia already counters Mixape, so Starmie is outclassed by other bulky waters. Perhaps Swampert could be a decent choice. It's actually a lead, and is still a bulky water.

Expert belt multiplies super effective damage by 1.3.

Tortured said everything else I was going to say and more.

Um, it's 1.2x

And considering you are already runnin ForryBlissCress, You want an offensive lead. Starmie won't cut it. Gengar could prove useful, however... Or a NP Azelf. People expect the Utility set, anyway...

Yeah, too true. Although CBPert can be considered physical. ;)

Pokemaster1993 August 25th, 2008 4:17 AM

omg, I got alotta things messed up in my team. <_< and there's too much that was rated <_<

guess I'll start working on it...

EDIT: so I finished editing my team, is it any better?

EDIT 2: with this team, I won 3-1. first and second one, my opponent left the room, and the 3rd one I 6-0'd him with just chompy. :D I got 2-0'd for the loss.

ABYAY August 25th, 2008 8:11 AM

I'm no fan of leadChomp (although I've never used it in general) since it gets outsped by leads like Weavile, Gengar, and Azelf.) I like Azelf leading here much more.

Everyone else has cleared things up, but those words are my two cents.

Walrein August 25th, 2008 9:29 AM

I liked the idea of HP Fighting Azelf, it can suprise Weavile very much.
What about CM Cresselia?

............

<_<

I used to have CM Cress but TS told me to change it.

ABYAY August 25th, 2008 10:31 AM

CM Cress is still offensively retarded, so don't use it, as T_S said. It's much better as a wall than a stat-booster/attacker.

Sorry but I Forretress should
be run like this, Light Screen
is something new to me for
Forretress so I wouldn't really
know. Perhaps instead of Light
Screen use Explosion if you are
keeping Stealth Rock. Spikes
over Stealth Rock because it can
often cause more damage
with multible layers, which
is very helpful. Explosion
should be standard for
Forretress.
