could you tell me if this team is good?
weavile (item = focus sash)calm nature42 HP/216 Att/252 Spe Ice Beam Brick Break Ice Shard Night Slash
dragonite (item = choice band) impish nature 255 HP/255 Att Outrage Dragon Claw Earthquake Dragon Dance salamence (item = sitrus berry) lax nature 252 Att/216 Spe/42 SpD Brick Break Crunch Dragon Claw Earthquake infernape (item = fist plate) timid nature 255 Att/255 HP Close Combat Brick Break Flare Blitz Fire Blast tyranitar (item = leftovers) adamant nature 255 HP/255 Spe Dig Rock Smash Earthquake Bite hitmonchan (item = none at the moment xD) jolly nature 255 Att/255 Spe Close Combat Thunderpunch Ice Punch Protect |
Ahhh well most of your natures are not very beneficial to your pokemon. For instance, A timid infernape will have lowered attack and higher speed. And since you've EV trained it in attack, it's effectiveness will be seriously lowered.
The EVs don't look too bad, but look up those natures to see which will go well for each one of your team member. Also those item choices are a little off. A dragondancing Dragonite cannot have a choice band because then you won't be able to attack anything after using DD. Life Orb would be good on your Infernape. I would seriously suggest checking out www.smogon.com for more in depth info on movesets/items and such. It's a great website that can definitely help you fine tune your team =) |
Ouch, this team is very bad, no offense. First of all, your Weavile is atrocious. Please scrap it for this:
Weavile @ Choice Band/Expert Belt/Life Orb Jolly 42 HP/216 Att/252 Spe Ice Shard Ice Punch/Swords Dance/Pursuit Brick Break Pursuit/Night Slash/Swords Dance Note: Only use Swords Dance with either Expert Belt or Life Orb. Your Dragonite is fairly decent, but you should opt for this instead: Dragonite @ Choice Band Jolly 252 Att/252 Spe/6 HP Outrage Fire Punch Dragon Claw/Stone Edge Earthquake If you want a Dragon Dancer, go with this: Dragonite @ Life Orb Jolly 252 Att/252 Spe/6 HP Outrage Dragon Dance Earthquake Fire Punch Salamence and Dragonite are sort of redundant, if you want it, try out a BulkyWish Mence: Salamence @ Leftovers Bold 216 HP/252 Def/42 Spe Wish Roost/Roar Dragon Pulse/Draco Meteor Flamethrower It can offer team support, which your team lacks. As for Infernape, you should try out the ever popular Mixape: Infernape @ Life Orb Naive 24 Att/252 SpA/232 Spe Close Combat Flamethrower Grass Knot/HP Ice Nasty Plot Or the (in my opinion) powerful physical Infernape: Infernape @ Expert Belt/Life Orb Jolly 252 Att/252 Spe/6 HP Swords Dance Stone Edge Close Combat Flare Blitz/Blaze Kick Your Tyranitar is sort of odd, I'd offer either the CB set if you go with DD Dragonite, or the DD set if you go with DD set if you go with CB Dragonite. I'll post both: Tyranitar @ Choice Band Adamant 216 HP/252 Att/42 Spe Crunch Stone Edge Earthquake Pursuit/Ice Beam Tyranitar @ Life Orb/Leftovers Jolly 252 Att/252 Spe/6 HP Dragon Dance Earthquake Stone Edge Crunch Lastly, Hitmonchan is a complete waste. I'd go for a status absorber that can tank some special hits. I'd go Snorlax, but it's really up to you. |

LOL I agree. Kingdra would 6-0 this team all day. Use Kingdra to cover your Kingdra weak.
|
thanx vance. could i use bronzong? i this in my pc
|
Vance gave you good movesets to work with. I would definitely do some research on competitive battling and team building. Smogon.com has good information for movesets. Generally, battling through shoddybattle (gah I'll get the link eventually lol) will improve your skills and you'll learn through there.
But yeah, the others covered the team pretty much. Nice to meet you though ^____^ |
bronzong (item = macho brace) careful 255 HP/252 Att earthquake gyro ball hidden power (i think ghost) Rest
|
That's a bad set no offense, but it could be worse. I can't see Bronzong fitting on your team at all, you DO have a slight Weavile weakness though. You could replace Hitmonchan with this Bronzong:
Bronzong @ Leftovers Sassy 252 HP/128 Att/130 SpD Gyro Ball Earthquake Reflect Stealth Rock/Hypnosis |
okay, ill catch another bronzong in mt. coronet and try and get a bronzong thats careful xD
|
You should considering actually breeding the Bronzong with something to get better IVs and such. Of course, I suck at that, so you can ask advice somewhere in the Request and Invidual Moveset, etc...

Anyways, ill leave this open for you to get some help. You could edit your first post (preferably to what Vance gave you) with the planned movests are to be. |
