Sandstorm Team

This is for shoddy, suspect ladder, assuming Garchomp will soon be Uber, Garchamp isn't a part of this team. If Garchomp doesn't go Uber, then that's a different story, let's just not bring him up in suggestions.

Funny thing, I make this team, after not having seen it in ANY battle for months, and when I first try it out, I face a rain dance team, then a sandstorm team, and I thought weather effects weren't being used so much anymore.

Moves:
1.Firepunch
2.Thunderpunch
3.Outrage
4.Brick Break

This is how it works: Hippowdon starts the sandstorm, gets stealth rock in, hold out as long as it can. Switch to Tentacruel or Gliscor, at the sight of a special/ physical sweeper, respectively. Gliscor poisons with toxic, the sandstorm, the poison and stealth rock, should be able to take a chunk out. (Originally had toxic spikes on tentacruel, but then saw I needed a water move somewhere). I prefered tentacruel over forretress, to not add another fire weakness, and to deal with grass and ground types easier. Then there's tyrannitar, who can wipp up another sandstorm, if another weather effect is activated (whoich seems to happen a lot). Lucario as a special sweeper, and Dragonite as a physical sweeper, the both of them can hanlde various types, also Dragonite resists grass and water, which is a great help.

your team needs another ice move with those never ending dragons
give tentacruel ice beam over confuse ray
tyranitar need stone edge over outrage since it will get stab
lucario isnt weak to fighting +psychic coverage is terrible try vaccume wave or hidden power of your choice
Edit:sorry about that frgot+it isnt 100% certain garchomps band is it?

Lucario IS weak to fighting, because he is fighting/steel : http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/448.shtml

I only tried out this team last night, late, and never ran a sandstorm team. And I came to the conclusion, that Tentacruel does need ice beam (which I though unnecessary as Garchomp is getting banned) .
I will be switching outrage with stone edge, but not as much for the STAB (because outrage is powerful enough + more accuraccy), but because of the teams need of switching and the need to deal with Zapdos.

I must advice you against this, since the main reason dragonite is used over Garchomp and salamence is that it's the only poke to get DD and STAB Outrages. Other than this salamence offers the same coverage but with more attack and speed.

Just something to keep in mind, but if you are going to forgo Outrage for a zapdos counter then Mence's faster and stronger Stone Edges will be of more use to you.

Luke rlly doesn't do that well as a special sweeper, especially without CM or Specs. You could forgoe Luke for a SS Special sweeper. Magnezone isn't too shabby in the special attk. range, but Scarftran is probably your best bet. See below for the set.

Dragonite @ leftovers

Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk, 152 Speed, 100 HP
Moves:
1.Firepunch
2.Thunderpunch
3.Outrage
4.Brick Break

I would put Dragon Dance over one of these moves besides Outrage. Gofre is right, Outrage should be kept. You shouldn't be worried too much about Flying types, as you have T-Punch, and Gliscor gets (2HKOED?) after a DD Stab Outrage.

Comments in bold. Luke won't do you any good as a special sweeper. Scarftran makes a better special-sweeping revenge killer.

[email protected] Choice Scarf
Modest Nature
236 Speed/ 252 Sp. Atk./ 20 HP

Fire Blast
HP Ice
Explosion
Earth power

This is the standard Scarftran set. Fire Blast for STAB, Hp Ice for Chompy and the other dragons, Explosion to engshplode on opponents that can wall you(aka Bliss), and Earth Power for coverage.

Also, this team is DD Gyara LO carrying earthquake weak. You could try filling in Scarf Dos>> Tar to help with that.

Outrage on Tyranitar is a waste. Stone Edge is stronger after STAB (150)

Anyway, for that Lucario, I'd go SpecsLuke >>>> That abominal creature.

Lucario @ Choice Specs

252 SpA/252 Spe/6 HP
