He probably put Roar on it because some other leads could be intimidating, so he would Roar it out for later... |
Gah >_< I can't find a real weakness in this team. In theory, foe ScarfGar is a threat, but it won't be getting past Swampert or Blissey anytime soon. Great team =]
|
OK, Let me just start by saying, thank you for not using a team with 4+ walls/tanks.

Yeah, uh, most of that rate was bad, and spreading false information.
First off, even though Taunt leads are common, Swampert makes a fine lead. It gets off SR early, and can actually live a hit or two. It also phazes and pretty much handles things like Weavile (non SD versions) Gengar will not be hurting Blissey whatsoever. Blissey can PP stall any version of it. T-Wave is essential for paralysis support, something this team could use. I noticed you said the LO set for Gengar is better ._. Nice job, except they do TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. ScarfGar is a revenge killer; not a sweeper. And no, you can't just switch into fighting types. You can switch into weak Bug attacks, ground, and normal attacks. The latter 2 cannot hit him, and the former is a 4x resist. How does SR own a team with 2 SR weak Pokes? I doubt it, and Taunt on LO Gyara is sheerly a bad move. LO Gyara is a sweeper, not a tank. |
Yea... what Vance said. :)
SR hasn't really done anything to my team. Stealth Rocks, Spikes, and Toxic Spikes do hurt me.. since I love Blissey. (happened to me today) Why are you peoplez hatin' on my Swampert! Deoxys and Aerodactyl except me to SR and I expect them to Taunt so I usually just get an attack on them, 2hko. Gengar just puts me too sleep, but I switch to Blissey hoping it's not gonna sub up and Punch me o_0. |
Alright, time to justify my rates =P

Sleeping a Swampert is not worth it =/ That opens up the rest of the team to protect against sleep status, due to sleep cause. In a sense, by taking the sleep, Pert has already helped the team. Quote:
"Useless to put a Scarf on Gengar" <---What? You do realize ScarfGar w/ Timid and Max Speed outspeeds Gyarados w/ Max speed...After 2 Dragon Dances? It outspeeds all forms of Deoxys-e barring that rare, crappy Scarf set. It revenge kills the biggest OU threats in the game; Salamence, Gyarados, Heatran, Tyranitar, Lucario, etc...etc...Are all either OHKO'd or 2HKO'd. Let's not forget that SR makes a lot of those 2HKO's OHKO's =/ Plus, Blissey usage is plummeting. Quote:
Tyranitar uses EQ and gives Gengar a free switch in. Unless it's running a super bulky set, it'll be OHKO'd by Focus Blast. A foe Gengar uses Focus Blast, ScarfGar comes in, OHKO'd by Shadow Ball. Salamence and Dragonite use Earthquake (both can have a DD and still be outsped) Gengar comes in and revenge kills them. Return is also a commonly used move; Normal types use them. Most Normal types are outsped and OHKO'd by Focus Blast. Quote:
BULKYGYARA needs set ups to be a real sweeper. Even without a DD, LO Gyara still hits pretty hard. With a DD, it 2HKO's things like crazy. 3 DD's is GG in all honesty, but even if that's not enough to persuade you, LO Gyara can outspeed other Gyara's and OHKO with Stone Edge. |

Swampert doesn't really take Physical hits that well.. and no way to recover. I only have it to set up rocks and roar his team to scout. I usally end up doing what Vance said because for some reason Yanmega keeps popping up. Quote:

I was responding to you talking about Sleeper leads. Sleeping a Pokemon is never good, but for the rest of the teammates, it's beneficial since it lets them sweep without fear of falling asleep. Quote:
Obvious or not. If it works, it works. Getting rid of a DD Salamence is still a great thing to do, making ScarfGar the Gengar of choice. |
...lol
Pretty solid team overall. Watch out for Lucario with Bullet Punch and Stone edge, since those will definitely catch your team off guard though a Lucario with both of those moves is uncommon to say the very least. imo the biggest problem is Heracross, and both switch-ins to it are SR and SS weak. They also take a beating from Stone Edge. You can't really revenge kill it very efficiently with Gengar or Lucario. Not really huge problems though, overall a good team. Pretty standard offense really. Welcome to DP. |
I noticed I had a Heracross problem when Vance used a (CB?) Heracross ._.

Gyarados = 85 Speed Standard Sweeper = <85 Speed There, that's simple enough to understand isn't it? =3 CLOSED |
I think you mean >85 speed 0_o

I wasn't really going for a mixed attacker.

Should I run Thunder Punch over Stone Edge on Lucario?
|
mmm good job pm. *put the pic back up there with da chick* great overall.
nothing stands out. decent to say the least (resistance , synergy, typing , metagame safe) |

Who ish dis A Loc BK you speaks of? :3
But I already have HP Ice.. Why do I need two ice attacks?? |
A Loc BK sounds like he sucks. I bet he uses Hyper Beam moves.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to facing this team in....5 seconds? |
