I would like to see like a more mature looking Eveelution that stays normals.
Flying would also be SO cool. I also think maybe like combining types... |
Exaggerated "Flareon needs a friend" post or something xD
Ok.
Let's see more closely what we got: 1st gen: -classic elemental trio: water, electric and fire -evolve through use of evolutionary stone (water, thunder, fire) So, it's 3 pokémon. A trio right? In the 1st gen games absolutely 130/65/60/110/65 65/65/60/110/130 65/130/60/110/65 (special was one stat back then) so they have 65/65/60/110/65 base stats + replace one 65 for 130 which are 3 possibilities. Perfect. But with the game mechanics evolving and new features added, this changed. In particular that are the special stat split and addition of abilities. Base stats from gen II on: 130/65/60/110/95/65 65/65/60/110/95/130 65/130/60/95/110/65 Doesn't look that simple anymore ): Vaporeon and Jolteons stats only difference is their hp and speed swapped, while flareon also got swapped sp.atk and sp.def... the 1st 2 are more similar. What about their abilities? Water absorb Volt absorb Flash Fire See where I'm going? The 1st 2 have abilities with the same effect for their type: getting healed when attacked by their type. Flareon gets stronger when attacked with fire. I'm aware that's just 2 small things which make Flareon stand out a bit... 2nd gen: -daytime duo: psychic and dark -evolve through high friendship on different times of the day 65/65/60/130/95/110 synchronize 95/65/110/60/130/65 synchronize Sun and Moon stone would have been SOOOOOO perfect, but no they decided to not make any evolutions which should have been possible before (I mean that you have moon stone and eevee in gen I f.e.). But everythings cool. Their stats are totally mixed.......... One could have expected A new eeveelution to show up in gen III, which would evolve via a new elemental stone and would be a duo with flareon because, esp/umb have 130 in a special stat, vap/jolt in the different stat(hp/spe), and flareon having atk 130, while theres no physical def 130 eeveelution. 4th gen: -climate dependent duo -evolve on level up near a special rock (moss, ice) 65/110/130/60/65/95 leaf guard 65/60/110/130/95/65 snow cloak with espeon and umbreon the 4 remind me of the 4 seasons (: They needed 2 generations for those? ): Ok, I see they created the missing def 130 one. And it's Grass. That would have fitted perfectly as counterpart to Flareon. So why Glaceon? q_Q Oh, right, it would only fit if it evolved with leaf stone, which in GF logic sadly isn't possible. If one compares stats of all 7 eeveelutions now, there is no pattern to find anymore or anything other... It's just a "give it a different combination of the same numbers" now if I'm not mistaken. So that was an analysis or something, now about new types of eeveelutions. Left types: normal, fighting, flying, poison, ground, rock, bug, dragon, ghost, steel. -A regular eeveelution will not be of the normal type that's obvious. -There will never be a flying eeveelution, because that's a secondary type. Unless you are ok with a normal/flying eevee, it won't happen. Some people say, they can't use a type which attacks were physical till gen IV and therefore assume that there is gonna be an dragon eevee. Well IMHO Eevee should not evolve into a type that drastically changes it's "species". It can become an rabbit (or whatever mammal it represents) that gains some fins on it's body, but it won't change into a fish. Remember, all Bug Pokémon are in the bug egg-group aka, they are insects, not mammals. That's why I believe there is never going to be a BUG type eeveelution. Same for dragon type. If when I tell you Bug eeveelution, you can imagine it, it probably looks like eevee with some incetoid details, while remaining a mammal with all the 4 legs and such. This could maybe be a ____/bug pokémon but not a real primary typed bug. Ghost is also something that would be impossible to make and not stand out of the eeveelution crowd and at the same time be a real ghost pokémon. Left acceptable options: fighting, poison, ground, rock, steel I won't be surpiresed if the next eeveelution will be one of those types, but still 2 would need alot of great imagination to not stand out: steel and fighting. MY/left final options: poison, ground, rock I think these are doable while not going to far from the eevee originality. Now for the end let's see which one would make the most sense as a Flareon counterpart for the sake of "completing" the above speculation about it. water<-electric psychic<-dark grass<-ice fire<-____ As you see the 1st is always weak to it's counterpart. fire<-ground or rock What else would it require to be capable of taking this role? -an ground or rock like ability variation of flash fire (That's no problem as abilities can always be invented). -EVOLVE VIA EVOLUTIONARY STONE D= The only innovative new evo. stone I had ever imagined in the past is the "Sand stone". lol By the way here's my version of it Litheon Ok, everyone, go on with the talk about flying eeveelution or ghost or something D: |
Personally, if it is going with the standard Eevee theme (where there is 2 new evolutions), one of the types is Super Effective on the other. So Rock/Ground could work, Rock/Fighting, Fighting/Normal, Steel/Fighting, Steel/Ground, Flying/Bug are all viable options. I'd like to see a Bug Eevee or a Steel one though :P
Definately Dragon Eevee it would be so awesome, especially if it is just dragon type!
MiTjA I agree with everything you have wrote, I'm praying that in generation V they'll change the evolutions from generations II and IV and make all Eevee evolutions caused by stones, which is the way I think it always should have been...
Personally, I'd really like to see a steel or ghost typle eeveelution, but I've always wondered what a dragon eeveelution would look like o.o...
I think it would be sooooo funny if there was a steel eveelution, & , as the original 3 had distinctive mains, the main for this steel type was a cone-collar thingy that cats/dogs get from the vet when they're sick XD
In all sereousness tho, I'd like to see a new Dragon Eevee (Dragoreon?) & a Flying type (get this: Aveon. Aww yea!) ...& for some weird reason, I can see Gamefreak making a Poison type (Toxeon. Man I'm sooo good at name thinking!) |
I think the ones most likely are: ground and steel!
But it would be cool, if when they brought out a new game they introduced more types of Pokemon (like they did with Gold and Silver), so Eevee could have another evolution based on a new type, which is what they did with Umbreon! :) |
I have basic ideas for possible future eevee evolutions tucked up in a .txt fale on my computer. Its not worked out totally or anything but just something I did just because I was bored (and because I was going to write a some fiction once where I wanted to include some made-up eeveelutions.).
Ok, so I was bored and was browsing the web and came across this topic and it got me interested in other people's views so I began to search and found this:
benzophenone-4.deviantart /art/Eevee-Evolutions-61222607 add a (w w w dot) before the first line and a (dot com) between the lines and delete the spaces to view the picture I found of this. It has every type and I think that the person did a very good job. I am not allowed to post links yet so that's why I did it this way. |
Definitely, I would like to see a ghost type Eevee and a steel type Eevee. I'm sure anything poison, ground, fighting or flying would work but the dragon type wouldn't make sense to me.
I honestly don't give a darn. More Eeveelutions = <3
Whether its dragon, flying, or something else, as long as there's more, I'll be happy ^^ |

I'm not sure what I'd want to see, but logically, it seems like they'd do a ghost type next. Bug is extremely unlikely, and fighting is too (I honestly couldn't see a bipedal eevee form). I'd expect normal/dragon to be the last editions (since dragons are somewhat rare, not including pseudo legends and legends). They might introduce dual types at some point though (ground/rock, normal/flying), and it honestly seems like the flying type could be pulled off (a lot of people ((from what I've seen)) have already tried it. However, upon thinking about it, I'd like to see a steel eevee-lution. A steampunk esque look could be pulled off potentially well, but it more than likely won't happen.
This is just my personal opinion about all of this. |
The only Eeveelution I can picture now is Dragon-type. It's probably already been mentioned, but Dragon-type completes the use to be special oriented Eeveelution theme.
Definitely a Ghost, Steel and Ground type might appear. Also a Flying type is a good eeveelution.
Dragon, Ghost and Steel types would be really cool, and I'll try to imagine what they look like. *Imagines* OMG Eevee with wings OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG
It's probably a Dragon, following the ex-special types.
heres a pic of a flying(aireon)
Ghost would be pretty sweet, but I think Dragon would be epic. Just imagine, an Eevee that can create twisters and breathe dragonfire...
what about a dual type eeveelution
I think out of all the remaining types, Poison would be the easiest to create an Eeveelution for.
I'd like to see a Dragon or Ghost type Eeveelution... How to evolve them though would be interesting...
Trade Eevee with a dragon scale? Use a Dusk Stone on Eevee? If we had to have a ground type, however, I'd imagine it to look gargoyle-esque; not bulky per se, but something that would... "suit" it. Flying would be really neat; not sure how you'd evolve that though. Maybe Eevee happy while in a wind tunnel? *firing squad'd* |
Hey I'd love to see a poison type Eeveelution. Although a flying type be seond on my list. I bet it would be pretty fast.
I think there will be every types of eeveelutions in the future generations
