Uber RMT.
Eh, the reason why I decided to post this team is obvious. Just needed the support for it, and I think I have it.
The Overview: http://www.smogon.com/download/sprites/dp/498.pnghttp://www.smogon.com/download/sprites/dp/492.pnghttp://www.smogon.com/download/sprites/dp/383.pnghttp://www.smogon.com/download/sprites/dp/250.pnghttp://www.smogon.com/download/sprites/dp/488.pnghttp://www.smogon.com/download/sprites/dp/380.png http://arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/arceus.png Altar (Arceus) @ Leftovers Adamant EV's: 252 HP, 252 Attack, 6 Speed -Extremespeed -Swords Dance -Shadow Claw -Overheat GOD. BOW BEFORE IT. Lead, SD sweeps. This thing is ridiculous, seriously. Overheat is boosted by Groudon if I decide to switch out. http://arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/giratina.png Wallicious (Giratina) @ Leftovers Pressure Bold EV's: 252 HP, 244 Defense, 12 Special Defense -Will-O-Wisp -Rest -Sleep Talk -Dragon Pulse Tears physical sweepers to pieces (except perhaps Rayquaza), and even deals hefty damage to Rayquaza itself. I don't truly consider Latias to be a problem, so I went with Bold Dragon Pulse over Impish Dragon Claw just to be a pain in the ass to Groudon's Substitutes. Besides, in Ubers, even though there are quite heavy physical threats out there, I still think people play with the mindstate of a physical metagame (as it's still quite prevalent in the lower tiers), so a special-based Dragon attack can take a lot of my opponents who predict the Impish Dragon Claw variants off-guard. Oh, and for the record, I f#$%ing love Giratina. <3. http://arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/groudon.png Sunshine (Groudon) @ Choice Band Adamant EV's: 252 HP, 218 Attack, 32 Defense, 8 Speed -Earthquake -Stone Edge -Dragon Claw -Overheat Get your sunblock, because my Attack stat of 643 wants to make you red in more ways than one. This thing smacks a lot of things up, whether they fly or not. Stone Edge takes care of Rayquaza, Earthquake for STAB, Dragon Claw for the Dragons who predict Earthquake and switch, and Overheat for the suprise factor and so I don't get walled by opponents with high physical Defense such as other Groudon, Skarmory, Weezing, etc. http://arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/ho-oh.png Phoenix (Ho-Oh) @ Choice Band Adamant EV's: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 Special Defense -Sacred Fire -Earthquake -Punishment -Return My little birdy may fear Stealth Rock, but that doesn't mean he's completely destroyed by it. This thing can wreak havoc on opposing PyschoPlots who think they can tralalalalala me by Plotpassing to a sweeper and having a field day with me. Punishment's actually quite fun to use, as it can do some serious damage to Calm Mind users, or Swords Dance / Nasty Plot users. Sacred Fire for STAB and 50% (!) burn chance, EQ for coverage and Return for the most viable physical attack. Other than that, it's pretty standard. http://arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/dialga.png Lustre (Dialga) @ Expert Belt Quiet EV's: 120 HP, 138 Attack, 252 Special Attack -Draco Meteor -Thunder / Overheat -Dragon Claw -Brick Break Standard MixAlga. The problem I have with Thunder is its piss-poor accuracy in sun; at the same time, I can use it to effectively shut down Kyogre. DM for STAB and just plain wrong stuffs, DClaw to take care of Latias better, as well as being able to outpredict an opponent who expects a switch in order to setup a DDQuaza sweep, and Brick Break for Blissey as well as other Dialga. http://arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/latias.png SolarDew (Latias) @ Soul Dew Timid EV's: 112 HP, 206 Special Attack, 192 Speed -Calm Mind -Recover -Dragon Pulse -Grass Knot Late-game sweeper. It walls the CRAP out of Kyogre, this team's biggest threat, and then Grass Knots it to rip it to pieces. I chose GK over Thunder because: A) Ubers are for the most part fat. They need to stop shoving epic cheeseburgers in their faces. B) Thunder and Sunder = No. The rest of the set is standard. However, the Wishpasser set is also appealing; albeit, it doesn't let me combat Kyogre as easily and really fails to do much else other than utility, which lets it get walked over by Taunt users like Mew(two). The plus side is, it heals the parts of the team I have that have ridiculous defense but can't switch in due to low HP or fear of death due to lack of a recovery move. (The case of Kyogre vs. Groudon works here.) Eh, that's mah team. Thoughts? |
For Arceus, try SD/Extremespeed/Shadow Claw/Recover @ Lefties. Bulky is the absolute best set, just bring it out mid-late game and sweep. Sure Restalk Dialga walls blagh blagh but this way you can beat Giratina and switch in and set up on [email protected] and CM Kyogre.
You really need Stealth Rock and/or Toxic Spikes somewhere. They work wonders for offensive teams. For Giratina I suggest dumping those Def EVs into SDef and letting WoW physically wall for you. |
I'm not sure I want to sacrifice a poke for entry hazards. Often times, they're fodder for Plotpassers, ExtremeKillArceus and other entry hazard setups, which I lack the defense for (aside from Giratina, who can shrug it off by Resting)
Giratina's EV's are spread for RestTalkers. They love to be WoW'd, then Rest it off, then Talk me to death. I see the point with Arceus. However, I want to keep Overheat for sun support. I will drop Earthquake for Shadow Claw, and switch the hold item for Leftovers. Thanks for the feedback, though. Anyone else? |
lolz, this is pretty much the same team I started playing ubers with. Really, everything is like virtually the same.
