A RMT in need of completion (OU)
Hello there fellows. Made some modifications since my last RMT so hopefully it’s getting closer to where it should be. Oh, btw I’m using this team for wifi battles and no platinum moves plz, I use pearl. Cheers!
Bronzong @ Lum Berry Ability : Levitate Nature : Sassy (SDef + / Spd -) Evs: 252 HP / 86 Atk / 80 Def / 92 SDef -Explosion -Stealth Rock -Gyro Ball -Earthquake This guy is my lead this time around instead of gyarados. Any fire types DDdos is straight in there for a free set up. SR as standard and explosion for last resort. Gyarados @ Life Orb Ability : Intimidate Nature : Adamant (Atk + / SAtk -) Evs : 72 HP / 252 Atk / 184 Spd -Dragon Dance -Waterfall -Stone Edge -Earthquake I couldn’t bear to change this guy. He works too well for me. Gengar @ Choice Scarf Ability : Levitate Nature : Timid (Spd + / Atk -) Evs : 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk -Shadow Ball -Thunderbolt -Focus Blast -Destiny Bond Made him a scarfgar and has now got a timid nature instead of hasty. Not much else changed really. Salamence @ Life Orb Ability : Intimidate Nature : Rash (SAtk + / SDef -) Evs : 120 Atk / 136 Spd / 252 SAtk -Draco Meteor -Brick Break -Fire Blast -Roost A reasonable mixmence, but I feel like he needs replacing. Any ideas? Anyone?? Breloom @ Toxic Orb Ability : Poison Heal Nature : Jolly (Spd + / SAtk -) Evs : 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP -Spore -Seed Bomb -Substitute -Focus Punch Breloom works very well as a subpuncher. I kept seed bomb over stone edge just cuz I felt I needed a grass move and someone else can cover him such as gyarados or gengar Snorlax @ Leftovers Ability : Thick Fat Nature : Careful (Sdef + / SAtk -) Evs : 204 HP / 52 Atk / 252 Sdef -Rest -Sleep Talk -Body Slam -Crunch Snorlax is new and functions as my special wall and status absorber. Works well with these moves I find. That’s my updated team, so go ahead and rate it like crazy! ;D |
I'd lead with Bronzong. DD LO Gyarados can't lead worth ass. Donphan seems redundant, since most of your team is either resistance/immune to SR/Spikes.
I'd use something like Heatran/Gengar over Donphan to aid you in revenge killing, Choice Scarf of course. |
Why Hasty on Gengar. Go Timid. Also, Life Orb > Wide Lens. The accuracy boost isn't worth it.

I feel Donphans slot could be used for something more productive. |
On Breloom, I prefer Stone Edge>> Seed Bomb. Gives you a lot better coverage, and Gengar, Mence, and Ninjask can't come in and set up on you as easily. Also, this team has a problem with physical Ape. Scarftran can also give you some problems, espceially the engshploding ones to kill Gyara with.

As odd as it may seem, jolteon gives this team trouble. subbing up on switches or just to sight what moves you will use it can easily atk with hp ice or tbolt and or baton pass to a counter free of damage as it outspeeds your team.....saying bolt beam owns you is rather redundant.
change gengar to scarfgar with hypno or d bond as this way you are to cripple or elimimate something. discard donphan all together, consider mixpert as your team is 5/6 immune to t spikes and you would have a back up sr |
Your team is all standard, so there's not much to really discuss here. I'm not seeing Wide Lens on Gengar purely for Focus Blast. I'd much rather put Choice Specs/Scarf on there instead. Or replace something with Hypnosis. Items are really important, and so I'd even rather put Petaya on than Wide Lens purely for Focus Blast.
Your 3 ice weaks are not going to be very fun. |
Thanks for the tips. They are really apreciated. Have made some modifications, but could still use a little more guidance. Have a look at what I've changed n see what you think.
