As I promised to Lyulf...a Platinum team!

Sadly, up to now this team is limited to the official server, where I am known as RomanRabbit.
---
Froslass (F) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Destiny Bond
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Blizzard
Considering Abomasnow itself is neutral to Ice, I'm trying Blizzard. But Let's see.
---
Medicham (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Pure Power
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- Ice Punch
- Zen Headbutt
- Brick Break
As Bullet Punch is illeagal with Psycho Cut, the new option of Zen Headbutt brought me up with this idea. Bullet Punch's typing isn't very good, but Weavile, as well Jynx, won't like it. It doesn't have a 100% chance to OHKO Weavile, unfortuantly.
---
Wigglytuff (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Cute Charm
EVs: 92 HP/132 Atk/92 Def/194 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Wish
- Substitute
- Faint Attack
- Focus Punch
It may not be Roman, but it's Sure a rabbit. I was actually intending to use Lopunny at first, but I didn't come out with sadifiying moveset for it, and somehow it can't learn Fling on the official server. Blissey cannot break it's Substitude in one hit unless it uses Focus Blast (I treid that myself once, but it's still a rare move), and any lost HP is easily recovered with Wish. Faith Attack isn't the best, but I can't affort spliting EVs for Shadow Ball...
---
Salamence (M) @ Yache Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance
- Fire Fang
How unoriginal, isn't it? But no, I just like this one. Jynx gives a OHKO even with Yache, right?
---
Lapras (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 84 HP/106 Def/118 SAtk/202 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Whirlpool
- Perish Song
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
Whirlpool only lasts for 2 turns, but as most would try to combat it and run in the last moment, many will fall. Thunderbolt is the better choice here, right?
---
Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 50 HP/208 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Psychic
- Flash Cannon
- Energy Ball
Suprise killer, outurning the likes of Weavile, the three common Dragon Dances Gyarados, Dragonite and Tyranitar even after one Dragin Dance (as well as Salamance if it only uses 270 speed to begin with), Weavile, Dugtrio, Adamant Ninjask and many more. Energy ball is insured to OHKO the standart Dugtrio.

I'm not an expert, so don't bark.

- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Dragon Claw/Brick Break

I don't like the idea of using Outrage without Dragon Dance (or at least a CB). If you use it, you're stuck with it, and without getting your attack significantly boosted, many pokemon can come in and revenge kill you. I think you're better off with Dragon Claw if you want a STAB move, but Brick Break is also handy. You want Fire Blast for more power I think.

Hmm, you have to ask yourself here, what does this pokemon do for you besides counter Blissey? I guess it provides Wish support, but with all the Fighting moves running around, I think this Wigglytuff will turn out to be very situational, and mostly dead weight.

I'm not very familiar with Medicham, but I know it's speed really lets it down. Bullet Punch kind of negates that, though. This pokemon could be useful.

Blizzard is just asking for the hax gods to curse you. I like Froslass, but it's really underpowered in the OU environment without Hail.

Cool idea, I think it will work due to surprise factor.

Yes, very insane. Once you Perish Song, they're going to switch out right away! You have to Whirlpool first. That being said, I think you'll find that your strategy won't work out the majority of the time. This, like Wigglytuff, is going to end up being largely dead weight IMO.

Well, thank you. Should I just use a Dragon Dancer insted of MixMence?

AluminumKnight September 30th, 2008 4:54 AM

I think that might be your best bet. Your only other physical sweeper is Medicham, who is slow as molasses (not sure that's spelled right...). However, if you do change him to a DDer, just lead with Froslass.

Walrein September 30th, 2008 5:18 AM

Here you go, changed. If Wigglytuff isn't so good, and you don't like Lopunny either, then who should I use as my rabbit :{ ?

Sexycheese September 30th, 2008 5:22 AM

Thanks Frosslass, That really helps :)
I Use counter and focus sash on my Wigglytuff with wish, gyro ball and Toxic
I will think about your set :) It seems most effective:)

Wigglytuff could really be better if it could learn Calm Mind or Amnesia. Seriously, with Max (physical) defense, it could be alot more sturdy.
