Why, no, I don't have a Ninetales weak. (UU RMT)
http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/mantine.png
Mantine @ Leftovers Calm Nature ; 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe ~Toxic ~HP Flying ~Surf ~Mirror Coat The most effective Mantine set by far. An Anti-lead, of course. Survive's Electrode's Thunderbolt and Mirror Coats it back. 2HKOs Toxicroak with HP Flying. A Ninetales that tries to hurt it with a Special move gets a fist in the face, and Hypnosis Ninetales can't do crap to it other than sleep it and do minimal damage. I haven't run calculations, but Surf can probably OHKO Golem if they think they can Stone Edge me. Raichu doesn't even want to think about a Mirror Coat from this thing. Toxic hurts other anti-leads like Shuckle. http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/leafeon.png Leafeon @ Life Orb Jolly Nature ; 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe ~Quick Attack ~Leaf Blade ~Aerial Ace ~X-Scissor Figured I didn't need SD. I mean, his Attack is already bast 110, and LO just hurts things. Leaf Blade is definitely a OHKO on Sharpedo and Quagsire, and likely on Golem. With Aerial Ace, Toxicroak is screwed. X-Scissor makes grassy things unhappy. Quick Attack can finish off anything that's being cheap with Focus Sash. This is probably the best of Eevee's parents in UU. (Not much competition lol). http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/mrmime.png Mr. Mime @ Life Orb Timid Nature ; 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe ~Psychic ~Energy Ball ~Shadow Ball ~Thunderbolt I know it's unheard of, but why not? Its 100 Special Attack is nothing laughable, and its movepool is astounding for something with 120 Special Defense. Even without any EV investment in SpD, it's still got a good way of taking special hits. Anything it can outspeed (it has 90 base Speed) has trouble dealing with it, and anything that can't OHKO doesn't much like it either. http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/kangaskhan.png Kangaskhan @ Life Orb Adamant Nature ; 4 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd ~Double-Edge ~Focus Punch ~Earthquake ~Ice Punch I don't care about Scrappy. The only thing it's good for in UU is Rotom and Drifblim, and Ice Punch takes care of the latter. Ninetales doesn't quite like Early Bird, either. EQ for the naughties of UU, and Focus Punch, with some prediction, can take care of other naughties. I didn't want Hammer Arm because this thing can outspeed some things, and I don't want it to lose that ability. http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/blastoise.png Blastoise @ Leftovers Calm Nature ; 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 SpD ~Surf ~Haze ~Rapid Spin ~Toxic This is more of a kick in the teeth for a Luna Jynx that tries to set up on Blastoise than anything else. It's also useful to get rid of layers of Spikes ans any sort of SR. I can poison Shuckle's food and get rid of Ninetale's Nasty Plots and Altaria's Dragon Dances. Surf is obvious; STAB, super effective against Fire, Rock, and Ground, not resisted by much. http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/ampharos.png Ampharos @ Leftovers Modest Nature ; 4 HP, 252 SpA, 252 Spe ~Heal Bell ~Thunderbolt ~HP Ice ~Thunder Wave Outspeeds a lot of things after they've been waved. Water, Flying, Ground, Grass, Dragon covered with those moves, which, as common types in UU, aren't bad coverage. Heal Bell if someone's being cheap and toxifying my team. This thing's 115 base Special Attack is only outmatched by Glaceon, and ties with Jynx, Cacturne, and Omastar. |
Well first of all you didn't give your Mr.Mime any Sp.Atk EV's they're all Sp.Def and you've given your Ampharos 252 Atk EV's. Typos I'm sure.
Blastoise needs some more Special Defense, if you want to get a Rapid Spin off you want it to be able to survive some special threats. Though I do understand he's your physical wall, you have a fairly bulky team. And I have to say it, Hitmonchan weak <3 (Cause he's Hitmonchan) |

Anyway, down to business. As much as your title goes against it, you do have a huge Ninetales weakness. After 1 Nasty Plot, Ninetales KO's 5/6's of your team. Mantine is the only pokemon that it struggles with. but if your opponent has rocks up, then Mantine won't like switching in all that much. So I say give Mantine Rest-Talk. It gives you recovery and can counter Ninetales all the more effectively. Replace Toxic and Mirror Coat to make room for rest-talk. Toxic on a lead pokemon isn't all that good, as most leads are faster and can switch to something to absorb it. Most electrode are used for Rain Dance set uppers, and they carry Thunder which does 99% Minimum to your Mantine. Swellow is also a problem to this team. it can hammer every pokemon with Facade and Brave Bird, which OHKO's Leafeon, Mr. Mime, Kangashkan and Ampharos. 2KO'ing Blastoise and Mantine. So adding a steelix into the mix might help, it can set up rocks, and can also help with your slight scyther weakness. I'm not seeing any other glaring weaknesses, which is nice. Although I suggest adding in another wall that has a recovery move. |
I guess this should be locked now, as I have another RMT awaiting approval. On second thought... Not sure, but I will continue to adhere to the forum's rules and not ask for it. Although going by the faq, I seem to tick all the boxes. Meh, I will wait until I am needed =]
Eh... yeah, lock please. =] |
