Does This Sound Good?

Okay, so I've been going back and forth with an idea of starting off a new chapter with my character. She has already gone through the regions of Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn, and now she's onto Sinnoh. She received a Shiny Charmander as her starter from Professor Oak -- she was the one who had gotten the Charmander when Ash got his Pikachu, and now she has a black Charizard.
I'm just stuck with whom she should bring with her to Sinnoh. Here are some of her Pokemon she had in the Hoenn region:

1. Charcoal (Charizard)
2. Sceptile
3. Arcanine
4. Combusken
5. Bagon
6. Crobat

Now, who should I bring into Sinnoh with me? Only one Pokemon!

I choose Crobat, because it sounds cool, and she could fly with it.

But Charcoal is good too, it can learn more HM moves than Crobat, but it kinda makes it an HM slave.

I'd go with the weakest, which is probably Bagon. If you bring all those powerful Pokemon to the new region, battles will not be as interesting because she'll be winning them all/

Since when do all the trainers in a different region have to be weak? :P

I'd say it would be cool to bring the Charizard. Also, I'm slightly partial to Arcanine because "dog" Pokemon seem to be natural main-character partners to me.

Well, I'm imagining she'll be starting around Twinleaf and Sandgem, where most of the trainers are just starting out. It is already unfair that she has so much experience, the least she can do is tone down the amount of power her team has.

Well yeah, I was kind of assuming she would do that too. Maybe the main character could have one of her strong Pokemon, but for some reason couldn't or didn't want to use it. I don't know, just throwing out some ideas.

I vote Bagon. Like Gummy said, if she's battling new trainers, she shouldn't have a super-strong Pokémon.

xD; I would be terrified if my first battle was my Piplup vs. a Shiny Charizard. *shudder*

yeah bagon...Later on though when you get higher in the gyms you could get Charcoal out. If it was a pokemon that satyed the same like Pikachu I would say take that one because its your satrter but in a case like this...Bagon would be best or maybe even bring Charcoal defeat a Shinx or something and then send Charcoal to oak...I don't know.

True, true.

Yeah, that's true.

That's funny! Same here!

Yeah! Good idea! That's because one of the Pokemon she has later on is a Luxray!

Thanks everyone for all the opinions; the poll won't be locked yet, but I'm putting another idea out there. My character, Jess brings Charcoal with her and after having her Shinx and Bagon for a while, Pokemon Hunter J comes around and thinks that Jess' Charcoal is a fine specimen to take. She sends out her Drapion, and captures Charcoal. Jess's Shinx tries to help but doesn't do to well. Charcoal is captured by Jess goes after them (doing like Ash did, going on the ship.). After rescuing all the Pokemon trapped on board, Jess is found by Pokemon Hunter J where she sends out her Drapion. Jess' Shinx goes back out, evolves into Luxio, and wins!
Comments and critiques are appreciated!

I read what Gummy had to say, and I agree.
If you brought a strong Pokemon to the region then the battles would be less interesting, or you would have to tone down the Pokemon's power(which agrees with the strange reality change of "Pikachu should be level 50 to 70-something but he is easily defeated by a Elekid")

Go with Bagon, more to work with.
