Rate my Ruby Team Please?
Ok hopefully this is a team I can stick with...this is my 'dream team' and since I only have ruby the movesets correspond accordingly...
Skarmory - Leftovers Adamant, EVs-200/HP 200/DEF 110/SPD Ability: Sturdy Drill Peck Spikes Roar ?? Milotic - Leftovers Calm, EVs-200/HP 200/SDEF 110/SATK Surf Ice Beam Toxic Recover Ninetales - Lum Berry Modest, EVs 200/SA 200/SD 110/SPD Will O Wisp Confuse Ray Flamethrower Hidden Power (Ice) Heracross - Salac Berry Jolly, EVs 255/ATK 255/SPD Ability: Swarm Megahorn Brick Break Endure Reversal Salamence - Lum Berry Lonely, EVs 200/HP 200/SD 110/DEF Dragon Dance Earthquake Aerial Ace Hydro Pump I'm stumped for the last slot...could someone suggest which type I should fill this spot with and what role the pokemon should play? Also I'm not sure what to use as a 6th move for skarmory since toxic is going to milotic and I wasted my rest TM already. I'm open to all suggestions for change...except for Skarmory, since I already EV trained it in the game....the rest are totally open to change |
Skarm- protect then if rest or toxic or HP are not available
Milotic- yeah... Ninetales- even if it's tested to be HP Ice, the power varies from 31 to 70... if it's a low powered HP then it's not worth using... I'll rather put in quick attack as your team needs a QAer too Heracross- brick break AND reversal are still rather wasting space to me even if the two are used in different situations... I'll personally take out brick break for return. Salamence- in 202 situation, I'll rather use Fire Blast or flamethrower instead of Hydro Pump as Aerodactyl doesn't exist as for the last slot, perhaps something to take down Dusclops and Claydol? Perferably someone with Shadowball then... whoever that is going to be. |
Thanks frostweaver, you're always incredibly helpful. Do my EVs and natures look ok to you?
|
Well i find that HP grass works wonders on ninetales but.........QA does its job
IMO but toxic on Skarmory and confuse ray on milotic.... but that milotic by itself rocks XD |
It's real game so there's no HP used. He also said that Toxic tm is used already on Milotic so Skarmory can't toxic or HP Ground.
|
Sorry didn't read the part with the toxic.......
oh well.....then i guess u should rest ur skarm and quick attack ur ninetales. best i can do ingame. |
Hm all I gotta suggest is... Dive or surf on Milotic. It stalls for a turn, this way you take less damage, while they take more.
~Splash |
He already has surf on milotic and dive is something only for Ludicolo IMO...
|
Not really... even on Ludicolo it's horrible. It gives the opponent a chance to switch into something to take down Ludicolo.
|
blah i know its the same thing for fly but if it has to go anywhere it will go on that guy...........................
IMO switching is not for me its the DD/SD/CM/BD that happen while he is underwater............... |
interesting team but where's the last member?
what level are these pokemon at? here's what apparently is standard for a skarmory Drill peck roar/whirlwind spikes toxic they're pretty annoying moves and they work so go with it Milotic toxic / hypnosis ice beam hydro pump dragonbreath/safeguard what level is yours at? at 100 it's hp stats should be well over 300 if u go with hypnosis,(egg move) u won't be able to get dragon breath so i'd say use safeguard then U could try mirror coat but it's special def stat is naturally very high so it wouldn't be so great unless u get hit by an electric or grass move but yeah there you are, Milotic it's the best ain't it? Your ninetales looks ok to me I've never raised heracross before so I couldn't say Salamence dragon dance earthquake aerial ace brick break I know u already have a fighter but salamence is much faster than heracross and brick break is super agains both ice and rock pokemon which it's weak to so a dragon dance or two and they shouldn't be a problem I don't actually know which version you're playing so the last memeber of your team is kind of hard. well since you don't have any psychic types I recommend this Gardevoir Psychic Calm Mind Will-O-Wisp Thunderbolt that's probably the standard gardevoir if u already used u'r calm mind TM don't worry it learns the move on it's own. for will-O-wisp u'll need to breed with either a Shuppet or dusclops they learn the move around their mid 30's buy the thunderbolt TM Gardevoir is fast and so a good opener, u only need to catch a female ralts to do it so it'll take u half as long as it would if u wanted a PURE breed. anyway , good luck with your team |
