I'd love to see more Eeveelutions

As well as many evolutions for those who don't have any. Like Minun and Plusle =D

It would also be cool if they could just fix every POkemon's stats to make them decent all the way to usable. I'm not into competitive battling because isn't much variety. It'd be really cool to see Pokemon like Pachirisu or any other never used Pokemon being used for competitive battling. Eliminate NU's and UU's!

Artemis December 22nd, 2008 8:57 AM

I agree...giving all those poor NU or UU pokemon better stats so more ppl will have more to choose from in competitive battling would be great, and giving them better and more open move pools as well...that would be great...

Waffle-San December 22nd, 2008 12:03 PM

Um we not all pokemon can be "good," there's a reason that when you start out you can only catch Caterpie's, Pidgey's and Rattata's. (Or whatever they're later gen equivalent is.) Plus if you don't like the centralization of OU no one's forcing you to play it, I love the UU metagame and as far as NU go, you can use alot of them in UU or OU if you feel like it. Eather get creative, or throw on a Choice item :P

Changing their stats gets rid of the diversity, and it wouldn't get rid of the categorization, because some pokemon's typings and movepool's are superior.

I do want more Eeveelutions, they're so much fun, but not a flying type, Farfetch'ds evolution gets to be the first flying only type.

Artemis December 24th, 2008 7:08 AM

I really want pokemon COntest to be anime like and go wifi...that is my main wish list for 5th gen...

Candy Christina December 26th, 2008 10:58 AM

I have some pre-evo/evolution ideas for the 5th generation. Here are some:

Shadolar: The Gladiolus Pokemon

Details:
Type: Grass/Ghost
~ An evolution of Sunflora
~ Shadolar is based on the Night Gladiolus; a flower that blooms at night.
~ The name is a combination of shadow and solar
~ Sunflora evolves into Shadolar by leveling up with a newly introduced Ghost-type move

Entry: This Pokemon tends to have a very unusual grin on its face. It is said that this grin is actually its way of looking into one's soul in an attempt to steal it.

Felhusky: The Prissy Pokemon

Details:
Type: Normal
~ An evolution of Delcatty
~ Simply based on a plump cat
~ The "H" in its name is silent; (pronounced, Fee-lus-kee)
~ The name is a combination of feline and husky
~ Delcatty evolves into Felhusky by holding a newly introduced item of the 5th generation and consuming any type of berry while holding the item.

Entry: Felhusky are very stuck-up Pokemon that ravish their appearance greatly. This species is usually not seen with others of their kind as they tend to cause intense quarrels with each other over their beauty.

I'll probably add some others later. :D

Harry Blue5 December 27th, 2008 6:33 AM

If you could make your own Pokémon...

If you made a Pokémon what would it be like. A brand new cool humanoid? another evolution of Pikachu? A monkey with a strange hairstyle? A baby Pokémon for Poochyena? A new legendary?

So... who is your made-up; not-actually-in-the-shows-or-games-YET, not-made-by-Nintendo-or-anyone-else-who-works-for-pokemon, blah-blah-blah; Pokémon?

Yrie December 27th, 2008 8:32 AM

Something Latias-ish/based off Latias, because I'm forever bound to Latias (as stated in my signature)
And I have no clue what I'd call it

Trap-Eds December 27th, 2008 8:38 AM

Yeah, something of an Ice/Dragon type. Something with barely any weaknesses, like Empoleon. And the name.......ehh, I'm not that great with names.

Haza December 27th, 2008 8:41 AM

A fire/Poison type pokemon like a komodo dragon or something.

Artemis December 27th, 2008 10:21 AM

I was thinking about this after reading a thread...and don't u think it would be awesome to have a grass/fighting type pokemon???

I MEAN ANOTHER GRASS/FIGHTING TYPE POKEMON! lol...I totally forgot we had breloom...

Sweet Speed December 27th, 2008 10:25 AM

We do have Breloom but, yeah that would be an excellent addition to th fifth generation.

Personally I would like a Dragon and Steel type ;).

Eucalyptus Koala would be perfect for another Grass/Fighting pokemon.

Artemis December 27th, 2008 10:31 AM

Yeah srry I had forgotten about Breloom until now...ha ha, but another one wouldn't be half bad...and a koala grass/fighting, would be cool cool looking!!

Myzou December 27th, 2008 12:53 PM

I wouldn't mind seeing a Bug/Dragon type, tbh. The weakest/strongest type combined.

I want a Bug type that can use fly, and one that can use surf ~.~

Candace December 27th, 2008 4:57 PM

an Ice-type. either an arctic fox or an arctic bunny (since we already got Glaceon)

Shaterpie December 27th, 2008 7:26 PM

If they give me 2+ regions to play in, I'll buy it.

Pretty simple, Nintendo. You've done it before.

Since you're talking about creating new Pokémon for future generations, this really belongs in the 5th gen/future generations speculation thread. Though, this is sort of borderline on if it belongs there or not, so it's not a big deal that you didn't post there instead :3 In the future though, check for other threads on your topic first.

I Laugh at your Misfortune! December 28th, 2008 7:22 AM

I'd like a poison/flying type pokemon, to negate poison's weakness to ground. I'm surprised they haven't done it already, actually...

Gars129 December 28th, 2008 9:47 AM

I have an idea for a game.

Name Pokemon Future: Chroma edition

Plot: The story starts like always. You are a Pokemon trainer who gets a pokemon from Oak and heads to viridian. All of a sudden, you and your starter are kidnapped by a unknown group and brought into the year 2109. You wake up and you are in jail. You find a time machine and escape into prehistoric times, but your pokemon is still in the future. When you return to the future you discover an ancient pokemon (a new one) tags along with you. You awake in New Viridian City which is completely different from when you last saw it, now extending into the sea and very modern, looks like a futuristic NYC now. The pokemon are all much more powerful and the stats without any evs and neutral nature are the equivalent of maxed out stats(Example, Jirachi now has 404 hp and 328 all other stats with just 31 ivs.) Viridian Forest is now a desert and its inhabitants have changed (Pikachu line looks eviler and has a dark type, Rattata line is now ground type with sand veil instead of run away, and is now slower and much more powerful.) Mt Moon is now taller than MT. Coronet and a large mt. range crosses the Kanto region. Your great grandson is a communist leader and has castle in the walled city of Saffron. This group that kidnapped you to get rid of you so your great grandson would never exist, but your pokemon was kidnapped because this species is extint and they wanted to creat a Mewnine with 999 stats and any pokemon move and ability.

Aren't the Zubat/Golbat and Crobat family Poison and Flying types?

Or do you mean you want another group in the next generation.

I Laugh at your Misfortune! December 28th, 2008 10:09 AM

Oh, yeah, I forgot them :O strange, cuz they're actually my favourite pokemon. But, yeh, I'd like more.

And Gengar also negates the weakness.

Waffle-San December 29th, 2008 4:50 PM

My friend and I were contemplating new ideas last night as we ussually do and I'll list some of the best ones.

Grass/Ghost type, okay this one wasn't anywhere near the best but it was funny cause he exclaimed "That'd be a cool walling type," then we paused and started laughing. It's weak to Ghost, Dark, Poison, Bug, Flying, Fire and Ice, but it'd still be cool.

~Can't remember the name but it ended with "ennai"
~Water/Dragon

~Basically its a legendary pokemon that occupies a series of connected lakes up too the north of the pokemon one. Some consider it a myth as the only confirmed sighting was hundreds of miles away from it thought area. Milotic have been known to act strangely around said waters, many even being known to abandon there trainers for short periods of time.
It is thought to be one of the most beautiful of pokemon.

Artemis December 29th, 2008 5:41 PM

I just want better contests...LOL!!! I really pray it will turn out to be like the anime contests with an appeal round and a battling round that doesn't deal with HP but points intead...IDK how they would do that though???

~Kavin~ December 29th, 2008 5:48 PM

Yeah I'd have to go with better contests. Contests like the anime would be awesome. Especially over wifi!

Oh yeah, I expect contests getting a lot of attention of they upgrade it abit and it hits WiFi...I think they might do that next actually...

Snicker_Kicker December 29th, 2008 6:28 PM

Here is what I think should be in the 5th gen:

-Customizable Characters: I mean, there's gonna be a main sprite, but give them the ability to change their clothes, hair, and stuff would really add flavor to the game.
-Forming a team: Just like in the anime, I think the ability to form a team with two trainers would be nice. I mean, the occasional parter-up with your rival is ncie, but I would like to have him around, that way the storyline would HAVE to become more intricate.
-Travel to other regions: 'Nuff said...
-Cutscenes: Sweetness...
-More Ghost- and Dragon-type Pokemon and Moves: Again...'nuff said.
-A Dragon/Fire Pokemon: This could make the ultimate Mixed Sweeper. There are plenty of Physical Dragon and Fire moves, but taking advantage of the best of both worlds would be utter sweetness. Plus, Dragon and Fire Pokemon are typically fast, save Heatran.
-Two more Eeveelutions: A Dragon-type Eeveelution would be nice, as would a Steel-type. Going off what GF as introduced so far, these could be plausible.
-Fossil Crocodiles and Fossil Birds: An Archaeopteryx and an extinct crocodile would be nice. Rock/Flying and Rock/Water, the former speed and the latter attack would be cool.
-A Pokemon that doesn't require level-up to evolve: Besides Porygon. One evolutionary line is not enough.

Also, I think a few new evos could be introduced. Here are a few:
-Absol
-Tropius
-Castform
-Torkoal
-Eevee (duh...)
-Sableye
-Mawile
-Seviper
-Zangoose
-Smeargle
-Stantler
-Skarmory
-Heracross
-A Pokemon that evolves into either Tauros or Miltank depending on gender
-Pachirisu

I also think a Dragon-type Legendary trio would be nice...

You mean a minor trio right?

Anyway a Dunsparce line would rock. Like magikarp turning into a beastly normal/dragon

Akio123 December 29th, 2008 8:36 PM

Dunsparce and Girafarig need to evolve. Also many Golduck, and there is already a dragon trio. >_> *points to Palkia, Dialga, and Giratina who are crying becase apparently were forgetten already*

Waffle-San December 30th, 2008 3:34 PM

Well Dunsparce has 100 base HP so it's not exactly comparable to Magikarp.

And who's up for a Magikarp pre-evo or another Magikarp, Feebus type pokemon. Sorry i just really want to see something besides Shedinja have a base 1 something. Me and my friend actually thought out it's final evolution. (Warning, the following pokemon is not meant to be taken seriously)

Kinderkid
Ice/Steel
Ability: Frightened, When switched in after a pokemon faints it's speed is doubled. This pokemon can not be Baton Passed too or switched in after U-Turn.
50/185/10/5/40/250
Learnable Moves
~Sheer Cold
~Fissure
~Horn Drill
~Ice Beam
~Thunderbolt
~Surf
~Flash Cannon
~Hyper Beam
~Flamethrower
~Fire Blast
~Thunder
~Blizzard
~Ancient Power
~Rest
~Snore

Yes none of them are physical xD

Type Weaknesses and Resistances
~4x Fire
~4X Fighting
~2X Ground
~1x Rock
~1x Steel
~1X Water
~1X Electric
~0.5X Grass
~0.5X Bug
~0.5X Dark
~0.5X Ghost
~0.5X Dragon
~0.5X Normal
~0.5X Flying
~0.5X Psychic
~0.25X Ice
~0X Poison

YAY!

To bring this up, I'm up for this too. I like contests too and it would be great to get an upgrade for them.

Gyroh December 31st, 2008 4:49 PM

I would like starters to be a little better than they are, specially the ones that are not used often. I would do that by changing their abilities. All starters have the same abilities and they aren't as useful.

This is what I would do to the following starters:

Venusaur
I would give it the Thick Fat ability. It kinda makes sense a bit that Venusaur gets this ability since it is kinda fat but it also helps it to reduce damage from two of its weaknesses.

Charizard
Swap its Attack and Special Attack stats. 109 Atk and 84 SAtk. Since Charizard has a more favorable physical movepool and has Swords Dance/Dragon Dance, it will benefit more from having higher Atk. And maybe, Gluttony.

Blastoise
Take points from its Atk stat and give them to HP and defenses. I would give it the ability to learn Aqua Ring and give it either Swift Swim or Rain Dish. I would also give it Water Spout. It would be interesting so see Blastoise as a healing tank and hitting hard with Water Spout for keeping its HP stat high.

Meganium
Take points from its Attack stat and give them to HP, defenses and maybe Special Attack, similar to Blastoise. I would also give it Thick Fat, like Venusaur, to cover two of its weaknesses.

Typhlosion
Well, a better special movepool I guess. I would give it Energy Ball since it covers Typhlosion's 3 weaknesses: Rock, Water, and Ground. I would also give it Dragon Pulse so that he can cover almost every Pokémon there is. I don't know what ability would be good for it.

Feraligatr
Guts, I guess. This Pokémon is good as it is, its outclassed by Gyarados but thats another story. It could get Intimidate as well since he is creepy looking too.

Blaziken
Technician ability and access to Flame Wheel and Force Palm. Force Palm would have the same power as Close Combat but instead of getting lower defenses and only 5 PP, it would have a chance of paralizing and 10 PP. If it isn't possible to get Force Palm we still got Double Kick. Flame Wheel is just a physical fire attack with 60 power. Nothing special, but with Technician boost and STAB, it could be very deadly. All of these changes can make Blaziken stand out from Infernape.

Torterra
Maybe because its a grass tank, I choose Thick Fat for this Pokémon as well. It's x4 weak to Ice so it might need it.

That is all I can think of. For Swampert, Sceptile, Empoleon and Infernape I would choose different abilities but I don't know which would be best for them.

Nope, its the law for starters to have Torrent, Overgrow or Blaze. Sucks though I agree that starters should get different abilities.

LethalTexture December 31st, 2008 5:08 PM

Improving the starters won't happen; if it ain't broke don't fix it. besides, it will cause backwards compatibility issues.

That, and traditionally all of the starters have blaze/torrent/overgrow. Bar Infernape, Swampert, and maybe Empoleon, the starters aren't really ideal competitive pokemon. We have Blissey and Salamence for that.

Also, Snicker Kicker, do Skarmory and Heracross REALLY need evolutions? o_O They're good enough already.

I don't know, I'd really rather not give many pokemon new evos. Some of the DP ones were cool (Tangrowth, Yanmega) but the majority took the coolness of the old forms and demolished it (Rhyperior, Togekiss, Magmortar, Electivire just to name a few). I don't mind some but I wish they wouldn't overdo it all the time, especially with the worthless baby pokemon.

Also for whoever posted it earlier, Dark/Psychic is 4x weak to Bug.

But yeah, I just don't want them to screw anything else up. Then I'll be happy. Also, maybe some pokemon that weaken offense a bit would be nice, but I doubt Nintendo thinks of competitive pokemon first (and I don't blame them) so I'm not getting my hopes up, haha.

It's only a wish though. I know it won't happen, I know it's law that starters should get those abilities.

ErickaVolt January 1st, 2009 12:51 AM

I wish the rival will be female in this 5th generation. Because it is always male in every generation.

♣Gawain♣ January 1st, 2009 7:26 AM

I also wish that the "new" and controversial type Light will be included.

Artemis January 1st, 2009 2:13 PM

I actually like the idea about an Ice/Steel type pokemon...we really do not have this combination yet do we???

Waffle-San January 1st, 2009 5:27 PM

No we don't, its too bad about its 4x weak to Fire and Fighting but I had thought of a way to resolve it, too a point a while ago.
I think I called the ability heavy skin, basically, neutral damage is taken from Fighting type attacks but speed is reduced by 75%.
The poke I had it based on was my Ice evolution, Dragon, split thingamabober.

The first evolution is a small Ice/Water type Squid like thing, it is an extremely rare pokemon that can only be found way up north and near the Tropic of Cancer during Fall (mating season). This pokemon loves the cold and despite having lunges, can stay underwater for an estimated 16 hours. Though many people believe it can stay underwater for days if it so chooses.

I couldn't remember how it evolved exactly as most evolved into another Water/Ice type (A Giant Squid like thing) and a small few became an Ice/Dragon type.
Than they each evolve once more, the Ice/Water pokemon becomes Ice/Steel Colossal Squid and the Ice/Dragon stays with its current typing.

The Ice Dragon was the more offensive of the two and the Squid is an excellent wall. Both of them had respectable plus 100+ base speeds so I gave the Squid my Heavy Skin ability so you could eather use it as a tank with two common weaknesses or a wall with only one. I forget what the other ability was, Battle Armour or something.

I'll try to find my outlines so I can find the base stats, I tried to keep them respectable despite my huge bias to making the Ice/Dragon very much Uber.

And I'm all for making starters more viable, but alot of them already are if you try them out, though I'm all for a little Movepool upgrade. Lets just keep their abilities the same and especially their stats. (Torrent, Overgrow and Blaze are actually somewhat helpful anyways, well on some of them, i.e. Blaziken)

Artemis January 1st, 2009 5:49 PM

Yes, an Ice/Steel type would have two major weaknesses but WOW...a 75% speed drop is a bit harsh don't u think?

Volkner's Apprentice January 1st, 2009 5:57 PM

1. Female rival would be cool, or multiple rivals. That poor 3rd Pokemon is always chillin in the lab (save when Dawn takes it in D/P, but she hardly fights you.)

2. Evolution for Lanturn :3

3. A new Blissey; just...more 'cleric' class Pokemon. I don't care if they're just as hard to takes down, just something different so I don't have to see that fatty fluff's face anymore.

Technician only raises 1.5. Force Palm would have base 90 power (not counting stab) vs. Close Combat and SuperPower's 120. It would be a nice alternative.

Artemis January 1st, 2009 6:04 PM

I think a female rival would be really cool too, and an evo for Lanturn and a "new" Blissey kind of pokemon would be nice too...Blissey is a little Overused A LOT in wifi battles...

Waffle-San January 1st, 2009 7:52 PM

Well I think its speed was somewhere around Infernape, and if you halve 346 you get 173. I guess that's alright, with it's defense I doubt it'd be used that way but I just wanted to be sure no one would be scarfing it or Agility passing to it.

its stats were like 111/81/105/70/125/108=600 It might not be broken... ... . well theorymon and pokemon are different games.

You would do it like Fire red and leaf green it starts off in johto and then you go to some different place with generation v.

And you could have some disaster or something in the story which and forced all the generation v pokemon to migrate (some legendary battle) and thus you get all these generation v pokemon poping up in johto.

p.s a poison dragon would be cool

Eon-Rider January 3rd, 2009 3:54 AM

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this or not but the only thing I want from the new generation is a Fighting/Flying type.

Mitchman January 3rd, 2009 4:26 AM

The only way they do that is if they made the 5th generation south of sinnoh connected through mount coronet(i actually think its kind of logical for that to be the next region XD)
Anyway i want an evolution of torkoal That article could be fake but i really want it to happen.

agurcsik January 3rd, 2009 4:33 AM

They need to make it easier to grow berries, I don't have all day to wait so I can water them. :knockedou

And there aren't enough Fire types.

I know most people would find it quite anoying trying to catch them all but in generation v i would like to see a reintrodution of dive with an coral reef type thing (maybe a evo of corsola?) and like a ton of exotic fish pokemon. Not all pure water types though.. more pokemon like lanturn would be nice.Maybe a water fire crap pokemon based of those crabs that live in the volcanic vents in the ocean floor?

agurcsik January 3rd, 2009 5:35 AM

That does sound sweet. And maybe, if they keep the underground, you should be able to dig up Time Gears (PKMN Rescuers of Time and Darkness) to unlock a Mystery Gift event involving Celebi or Dialga. It's kind of like an advertisment for PKMN Rescue Games so it works both ways.

What about a dolphin?
Also, Rattata should be able to learn Water Gun like in the orginal game.

Shiny January 4th, 2009 5:08 AM

Well, I'd like to see a pre-evolution for Cherubi, just to make Cherrim seem more stronger in a sense, giving it the third stage title

Magikoopa189 January 4th, 2009 10:01 AM

Past Regions

I hope that after you beat the Elite Four, you can go back to Johto/Hoenn (Depending on whether a Johto remake is made) and then in the sixth generation, be able to go back to Hoenn or Sinnoh!

Yea but why stop at just johto, why not let us have the whole world?

They did it in g/s/c

agurcsik January 5th, 2009 2:50 PM

That's too much data to fit onto one cartridge, so they wouldn't be able to do that.

They should make a Pre-Ev form of Cranidos.

Pokemon elite January 5th, 2009 3:10 PM

Generation 5

Generation five should have a fighting/Flying type right?

Yu_&_Rei January 5th, 2009 3:12 PM

thats for them to decide, it'd be nice if they did.

JP January 5th, 2009 3:41 PM

Wouldn't be too surprised if they did add that. Would love to see what it'd look like as well.

Pokemon elite January 5th, 2009 3:50 PM

Yeah but we can only dream, yeahhhh good old times lol.

Artemis January 5th, 2009 4:06 PM

Um...this is supposed to go in the 5th gen wish list thread...so I'll just make sure and let the mods know this should be moved...

Silhouette January 7th, 2009 3:43 PM

I don't care what they do, but they have to stop making good Pokemon evolve. Like Tangela or Electabuzz/Magmar. They weren't bad, but I'm talking Probopass and Togekiss. I wouldn't mind if Corsola, Mawile, or Chimecho had an evo, though. They need one, if anything..

Colossal January 11th, 2009 1:04 PM

A Eevee Ghost evolution would be awesome :)
So would a flying, a fighting, a poison, a bug....joke. :)
But the would be cool. :(
Anyway, I'd love 2 regions, maybe 2 new ones?
Kinda like G/S/C.
A dark rival (kinda like the G/S/C rival) would be cool.
And...umm....a Farfetch'd evo or a Kangaskhan baby would be cool!

the bitter end. January 11th, 2009 1:51 PM

Probably been said multiple times, but I would like a G/S/C remake.

Haza January 12th, 2009 8:11 PM

I predict and Equinox and Solstice duo for legends.

Also and Ice evo for Onix name Diamonix(Die-Uh_mon-ix) that evolves with Nevermeltice

PokemonMichael January 16th, 2009 12:22 AM

a career, a surfboard and a car .
if theres a desert a dune buggy

Artemis January 16th, 2009 7:13 AM

I would like for them to make the graphics in the 5th gen game something like pokemon ranger shadows of almia and pokemon mystery dungeon time and darkness...

Dragonite_dave January 16th, 2009 5:07 PM

I would like to see a whole new set of Pokemon and a new region with new gyms and new storylines. Hopefully these will be darker and not so childish and I would like to see more pokemon like Darkrai or Giratina.
And I agree that it would be great if we could travel to all the past regions after beating the Elite Four in the games. And there should be more Master Balls available.

hothead January 17th, 2009 3:17 AM

I Would love to see a Evo for Seviper and make it a bit stronger and to expand ts moveset just a bit and do the exact same thing for zangoose Cause they both need some more power

Haza January 17th, 2009 4:39 PM

A new move called Acid Rain Dance or something for Poison types. Same damage as Sandstorm and heals some Poison types with the ability to go with it.

ErickaVolt January 17th, 2009 4:41 PM

I hope there will be a Military Trainer in this Generation.

.Ozymandias January 19th, 2009 5:24 AM

I'm hoping for a darker storyline and the ability to travel to other reigons.

On the pokémon front, I'd love a new type to play with - maybe 'Time' or something? - and some new evo's for old favourites.

Haza January 19th, 2009 11:28 AM

As for a new type I think Light is long overdue and I would like to see a Dragon minor trio.

coco33 January 19th, 2009 8:06 PM

I like the idea of this...someone from the Wolves Hideout also mentioned the creation of a Ghost wolf type pokemon...

Haza January 19th, 2009 9:09 PM

Ghost/Normal wolf would rock.

So go on and post your ideas for anything regarding the new generations! :> New Pokémon ideas you have thought up, new types, new attacks, new areas, anything along those lines of thought.

If you have any questions feel free to PM myself or Archuleta Shuckle and we'll be more then happy to answer them :3

I'd really wish they'd have all the 4 main regions in just one game! That would be, awesomely epic XD

bluesonic1 January 19th, 2009 9:36 PM

A Wolf type of pokemon would be friggen awesome!!!!!!!!!

Haza January 19th, 2009 10:54 PM

For the next gen(5) to be Pokemon Black and White centered around balance. Maybe shadow pokemon can make a handheld cameo.

coco33 January 19th, 2009 11:12 PM

wolf wolf we want a wolf

♣Gawain♣ January 20th, 2009 2:50 AM

I just want the future gen pokemon games to have the access to all other regions, so that we don't have to hustle over trading and stuff.

And as speculated in the thread you made, the sister game to this generation would be Grey version.

The Ebon Blade January 20th, 2009 2:36 PM

Idk. I'm pretty sure they gonna make a gen 5 but from that point on? It all depends on the success of the games. I understand that they have recently opened their possiblities with the mystery dungeon games and the ranger games but still. How many more pokemon can they possibly make that are any good qualilty? A LOT of the sinnoh pokemon were boarder line on creativity but they still managed to make an excellent set of pokemon. But can they do it again?

Swampert 22 January 21st, 2009 10:51 AM

I think definatly other regions to explore with huge side quests to keep you interested until the next gen come out! Trainer customisation and how about Pokémon growing up a bit, getting harder and dealing with more real life issues death etc. I was playing SSBB with my mate today and thought it would be cool if all Pokémon looked like Charizard does in Brawl. That would make Pokémon better in my opinion.

P.S. I don't actually think adding Pokémon every gen is a good idea. Have more involvement of the existing characters:)

Haza January 21st, 2009 11:11 PM

More area and regional differences within the game. Like traveling to the "pink berry island" and catchin pink pokemon or loppunny in the snow are white like snow bunnies.

I want more storage space in the PC.
I mean I am getting more into breeding and stuff and wanting to fill out my Pokedex, all while keeping my boxes organised, and I almost ran out of boxes already...

Åzurε January 22nd, 2009 7:42 PM

MMO mode, instead of a separate game for MMO? I don't know much, but to my knowledge the DSi is supposed to have WiFi 'net capabilities on board. So, why not have the programming to access internet sections of a given game on the game/system, but have the actual maps, sprites, ect., stored on the internet? You could do a lot with that.

I like the sound of real-time battling/animations in battles a lot. Since I'm currently obessed with Disgaea DS (Prinnies, dood), I'd like a battle system like that, One really close to FFTactics.

Character customization like Battle Revolution is a must. Multiple Male/Female designs absolutely. All 4 regions, no duh!

I came up with this idea in another thread, how about your own city? Like Sims but with in-game chracters moving in? Tee hee, memories of putting old ladies into rooms with no exits, with nothing but garden gnome-building equipment to entertain her! But anyways, say you could buy a ranch, and once you do, it becomes an interactive box system. that'd be awesome.

So many possiblities, good ideas, and knowing there's next-to-next-to-no chance of ever seeing it come true... But I digress. Someone else may now speak, er, type?

VanillaThunderbolt January 22nd, 2009 9:32 PM

Mooglizer... you sparked a good thought.
Pretty much everything you said, but expanded to almost Sim's like possibilities.
Call it Pokemon Life.
It's half life.
Half Pokemon. [Which means just life, Pokemon is life! xD]
Then with Pokemon, you could train for battle, train for contests... rob... children? o.O
That whole concept.
Of course... robbing innocent people would be a GTA like thing...
GTA Kanto? Oh no...

Åzurε January 23rd, 2009 9:20 PM

lolz, I love it. Hijack a maglev train!

on that note, other ideas! mounts! For a pokemon following you around, if it's something like a Metagross or Dodrio, you could ride it instead of having a poke-stalker! :P

Bill should start a major company, and make teleporter tech portable so one could dash around civilized areas and the internet as a glowing burst of matter!
...
Dang, but that there is what you call random.

~Platina's Jason~ January 23rd, 2009 10:49 PM

Ability to decide between becoming a Professor in training, Gym Leader in training, Breeder, Co-Ordinator, or just regular challenger. This'd have a small affect on the plot. That is all.
