Oh God, First UU RMT, Brace Yourself

I decided after looking through various UU Battle Logs, that it seems like an awesome metagame, and I felt compelled to test it out. Many thanks to D_A with helping me out here (And then kicking my ass with the first attempt at it, this is with re-working done [HOLY CRAP, YOU SWEPT ME WITH A CLAYDOL!!!]) So yeah, my first attempt, probably equals failure, but hey, this thread is meant for me to learn :)

Technician
Jolly Nature
252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 HP
Fake Out
Hypnosis
Bite
U-Turn

Honestly, one of the most standard UU leads out there, but hey, with the two UU batles I've had (Lol), it has held it's own, both in early and late game.

Adamant Nature
252 HP/ 252 Atk/ 4 Spe
Bullet Punch
Mach Punch
Fake Out
Close Combat

"Dark_Azelf: Priority abuse much?" Yes, very much so. Speed EVs aren't needed for this very reason. Great coverage on this, plus Close Combat is a handy little STAB move.

Overgrow
Modest Nature
236 HP/ 252 SpA/ 20 Spe
Leaf Storm
HP Ice
Sludge Bomb
Sleep Talk/Sleep Powder

Still not totally sure on that last slot. Sleep Talk works great with proper prediction, but Sleep Powder is sort of redundant, as I already have some Sleep support. Anyways, great Special sweeper, and having SB as a secondary stab is nice as well with its bump up to the special category.

Insomnia
Calm Nature
252 HP/ 200 SpD/ 56 Def
Seismic Toss
Wish
Toxic
Light Screen

Seismic Toss for great damage, and hits stat boosters. Wish support helps across the board. Toxic support helps me out a bunch. Light Screen to make its tanking even more unbreakable.

Ability Doesn't Matter at all for its use :P (But it's Rock Head :P)
Impish Nature
252 HP/ 136 SpD/ 120 Def
Stealth Rock
Roar
Stone Edge
Earthquake

Earthquake for great STAB and Stone Edge for coverage. SR support was necessary in my opinion. Roar for some PHazing and for some nice residual SR damage.

Bold Nature
252 HP/ 252 Def/ 6 SpA
Rapid Spin
Surf
Toxic
Protect/Ice Beam

After my epic failure against D_A, I needed a decent spinner (Sorry Claydol, you don't cut it in my book). Pretty standard Utility Blastoise, not much more to say. Only thing is my decision on that last slot.

It's not Scyther weak! +5 for you. However, if Steelix dies, then CB Aerial Ace rips this team pretty good. Get your rocks up early to make Scyther queasy about switching in. If you see it, go straight to Steelix, then there's your opportunity. Scyther can't do much to Steelix while it's OHKO'd by a Stone Edge or Roar'd.

Fighters aren't too troublesome with Venusaur and Hypno (although eventually, they'll get worn down. You might live long enough for them to dish out some major damage.)

Overall, not a bad team. Nothing glaring as a weak, good coverage (although there is no fire move anywhere, but that's not truly needed since neither Scizor or Forretress are in UU), and I hope it's a team to face someday.

Just use Sleep Talk in the last sot for specs saur 0.o. Then thats your status absorber lol.

That only works if it's put to sleep though :P Otherwise, every other status basically rapes me (Aka Toxic :P)

Still venusaur for toxic lol It also doesnt care about any other status either. Since its slow anyway, paralysis wont matter , burn wont matter either, toxic as said its immune to and sleep ? lol.
