Another NU Team -- Don't ignore this one D:
http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/ariados.png
Ariados @ Life Orb Adamant Nature // 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe ~Agility ~Bug Bite ~Sucker Punch/Pursuit ~Poison Jab Lead bug. Agilification is quite welcome for this slow bug, and it makes it outrun some things in NU. Bug Bite for those who have leaves growing out of their... um... well, ones that aren't hit harder by Poison Jab. Pursuit would be if anything tried to set up, but I'm considering Sucker Punch incase I get an attacker on me. http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/bibarel.png Bibarel @ Leftovers Impish Nature // 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SpD ~Defense Curl ~Toxic ~Super Fang ~Amnesia What don't you like more than +4 SpD boost with a single move? With Simple, Bibarel is a beastly mixed wall in NU. Toxic and Super Fang work like a lob and drill. Just keep your health up with Leftovers and proceed to toxify and eat the opponent. After proper set-up, only a Roar or Haze can stop this monster. Pretty much covers all of the bugs in NU, and anything that relies on Defense doesn't like it either. http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/plusle.png Plusle @ Life Orb Timid Nature // 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe ~Nasty Plot ~HP Ice ~Thunderbolt ~Grass Knot NP, duh. I figured with prediction I could send in Plusle without having to worry about surviving. HP Ice hurts fliers like Pidgeot, as does Thunderbolt. (Although I'm using HP Ice for things like Parasect). Grass Knot's kind of suckish in NU, but it hurts Dewgong. http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/mightyena.png Mightyena @ Toxic Orb Adamant Nature // 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe ~Howl ~Crunch ~Fire Fang ~Facade Kind of like NU's version of Swellow, who is UU's version of Ursaring. (Only this set is different). Not much of a movepool, but Crunch, Fire Fang, and Facade leave almost everything in UU with something to bleed about. Quick Feet makes Mightyena better, for sure. http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/magcargo.png Magcargo @ Leftovers Bold Nature // 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD ~Will-O-Wisp ~Flamethrower ~Recover ~Stealth Rock Cripples physical sweepers, particularly buggy ones. Will-O-Wisp is spectacular, and Flamethrower is quite nice, too. Recover makes Magcargo get fatter (good thing), and Stealth Rock is awesome with Beautifly, Ledian, and Butterfree running all over. http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/sunflora.png Sunflora @ Heat Rock Timid Nature // 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe ~Sunny Day ~HP Fire ~Sludge Bomb ~Solarbeam Sunnybeaming in NU. Classic? Anyway, keeps Dewgong from being fat and hits that very elephant with a Solarbeam. Sludge Bomb explodes in the faces of those who resist HP Fire and Solarbeam. HP Fire, charged up by the sun, is powerful. |
I don't know about NU much at all, but I do know that Armaldo was considered in the "NU tier" so that automatically gives you trouble:
Armaldo @ Life Orb Adamant 252 Att/252 Spe/6 HP Rock Polish Stone Edge X-Scissor Earthquake This takes out your entire team basically, with or without Stealth Rock support. The only ones not hit for super effective are Bibarel and Mightyena, both are whom aren't exactly gonna pose a huge problem to Armaldo with +2 Speed. |

Perhaps if you actually directed us to a link of NU, more people could help you.

Yer so Umm, Good Luck finding someone to battle, unless you plan on entering it in UU

Anyways, I should probably rate, shouldn't I? I have no qualms about this team, though I havn't battled in NU in a long time. I have no real changes to make. |
geez learn 2 NU.
never run a ariados set that does not pass agility. you could be passing that agility to a CB intimidate mightyena, who is more effective as a sweeper than that status whore you got going there, or a NP plusle, who, btw, does more damage to dewgong with STAB tbolt than grass knot ._. you may as well drop grass knot for baton pass so you can actually give magcargo/sunflora the ability to sweep. have you not heard of curse bibarel? o.O stab waterfall + return is amazing after a couple of curses. as the last slot, you could have quick attack or twave and you have one boss bibarel. sunflora is just the suck, but w/e. give it choice specs plz. will do some CRAZY damage. modest, 252 SP ATK/208 HP/48 SP DEF @ choice specs is where it's at. |

And I didn't know Bibarel even had Curse... I'll revise its set later. |
