The (Unfinished) Overview... http://archives.bulbagarden.net/w/upload/2/2c/Spr_4d_386S.pnghttp://archives.bulbagarden.net/w/upload/b/b7/477.pnghttp://archives.bulbagarden.net/w/upload/a/a0/242.pnghttp://archives.bulbagarden.net/w/upload/b/ba/073.pnghttp://archives.bulbagarden.net/w/upload/9/9e/488.pnghttp://archives.bulbagarden.net/w/upload/5/5b/472.png Breakdown~ http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/deoxyse.png Plutoface (Deoxys-S) @ Light Clay / Focus Sash Timid / Pressure EV's: 252 HP, 252 Speed, 4 Defense -Reflect -Light Screen -Taunt -Stealth Rock *sniff* WHY DID THEY BAN THIS?! :'( Anyway, this is my -temporary- lead. Considering replacing this with Azelf to do the same thing. Light Clay is an obvious choice, but I'd like to setup rocks, so Focus Sash is a viable option to ensure one goes up before it dies. I don't know, I think Deoxys-S is banned based on the Platifail metagame, so I kept it in because, with the D/P metagame, nobody had a problem with it, so...meh. :# http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/dusknoir.png Seance (Dusknoir) @ Leftovers Impish / Pressure EV's: 252 HP, 252 Defense, 4 Special Defense -Pain Split -Fire Punch -Thunderpunch -Will-O-Wisp Standard Noir is standard. Pain Split for healing/damage, Fire Punch for Steels who wall constant Toxics from other team members, TPunch for Gyarados and other birds, and WoW to burn sweepers who think they can setup on my walls. http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/blissey.png Scrambler (Blissey) @ Leftovers Calm / Natural Cure EV's: 252 Defense, 176 Special Defense, 80 Special Attack -Softboiled -Seismic Toss -Toxic / Thunder Wave -Flamethrower The Blissey set D_A gave me a while ago. Considering T-Wave over Toxic, albeit, it doesn't let me PP stall a lot of things. Flamethrower over Ice Beam because Toxic can wear down Dragons. http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/tentacruel.png FeelYouUp<3 (Tentacruel) @ Black Sludge / Leftovers Calm / (forget which ability) EV's: 204 HP, 96 Special Attack, 172 Special Defense, 36 Speed -Rapid Spin -Surf -Toxic Spikes -Ice Beam SPINSTERCRUEL! Nobody uses this...and really, I'm considering dropping it as well, but having to go AFK every 30 seconds, I don't have time to think of a replacement. It's a good special wall and spinner, and soaks up T-Spikes and Toxic in general well, but there are probably better pokes for the job =| http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/cresselia.png LunarLight (Cresselia) @ Leftovers Modest / Levitate EV's: 20 HP / 252 Defense / 236 Special Attack -Psychic -Ice Beam -Moonlight -Reflect Standard Cress. Psychic for STAB, Ice Beam for the pesky Dragons, Moonlight to heal and Reflect to stall physical sweepers. http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/gliscor.png Howzer (Gliscor) @ Leftovers Jolly / Sand Veil EV's: 120 HP, 200 Attack, 188 Speed -Swords Dance -Roost -Earthquake -Ice Fang The only answer I have to Tyranitar that's fully EV trained =\ SD sweeper, Roosts off damage. Earthquake for STAB, Ice Fang for Dragons. Let me know what you think, though I won't reply for a little because I have to give out candy to the twerps. kthnxbai~<3 EDIT: If you see Pokes that aren't there and need to be (Suicune, DURR), post it anyway, but please don't tell me "d00d ur teem fails to the meta, gfg nub". Just tip me off about what I need and don't be an ass, kthnx. :) |
Stall at this point in the metagame really isnt viable, but w/e.
Deoxys is still banned. So in deoxys slot something like Bronzong would work (who can run dual screens to if you like that). This will also help so you dont auto loose to SD weavile =p. [email protected] Clay 252 HP / 74 att / 110 def / 74 sp.def Relaxed Nature Trait : Levitate - Reflect - Light Screen - Stealth Rock - Gyro Ball (If you dont want dual screens, just use standard : - Toxic or Trick/Gyro Ball/SR/EQ @ Leftovers or Macho Brace with Trick) Tyranitar is the biggest issue it ohko's your entire team bar glisor (2hko) with CB Crunch, no problems and DD Tar isnt much better to you. So something like Hippowdon could work here >> Gliscor. Also no PHazer is going to hit you hard. Roar on hippow would be great. [email protected] 252 HP/ 252 DEF / 6 ATT Impish Nature - Earthquake - Ice Fang - Roar - Slack Off This also counters physical mence to an extent. Mixmence is an issue too since tenta and cress takes ~60% from a LO Draco Meteor and you have no Wish support so yeah... No Wish support is bad bad bad for stall. Make Bliss a Wish Bliss =]. [email protected] 252 DEF / 176 SP.Def / 80 SP.ATT Calm Nature Trait : Natural Cure - Wish - Softboiled - Ice Beam / Flamethower - Seismic Toss This would greatly help your team with recovery. As for cress since you have no status absorber you might aswell make it rest talk =/. [email protected] 252 HP / 108 DEF / 148 SP.DEF Bold Nature - Ice Beam - Psychic - Rest - Sleep Talk Also id be careful of anything that makes 101 hp subs and has calm mind, aka cune, celebi, jirachi ...ouch..... Id also watch out for ANY team with Dugtrio since it takes out both tenta and blissey with ease. Anyways it looks pretty cool so far. So changes: - Zong Wish Bliss Tenta Rest Talk Cress Hippowdon Dusknoir Something like that. EDIT : - 204 HP / 108 DEF / 24 SP.ATT / 172 SP.DEF on Tenta as the ev spread, it lets you cushion mixapes cc better. |
Okay, so Swords Dance Gallade 6-0's you, lovely. Nothing on your team can handle a CB set consisting of Close Combat / Night Slash / Ice Punch / Psycho Cut. Everything is either OHKO'd or 2HKO'd (SR can also change those into OHKO's)
The best solution is replace Dusknoir (lol) with Spiritomb, Gallade's paper counter. You could use the same basic set, except with HP Fighting and Shadow Ball or Pursuit and Sucker Punch. I'd go with the former since Gengar and Azelf don't pose this team huge problems: Spiritomb @ Leftovers Calm 252 HP/140 SpA/116 SpD Will O Wisp Shadow Ball HP Fighting Pain Split This is a wonderful check for things like Lucario and such, since most run CC/Extremespeed/Ice Punch/SD. It's also your best bet against AgiliLuke, though this isn't exactly a great counter for it. No real answer to Tyranitar is =/ No, Gliscor is not a Tyranitar counter because Stone Edge 2HKO's it and if it has a DD up then it'll gladly take you out in two hits. I'd heavily invest in some insurance; Machamp for instance could work. |
