Best Place to Train In Leaf Green

What is it, I am after the Elite 4 the first time, and after the whole events that allow you to trade to Ruby, Sapphire, and Emearld, I have every place unlocked, I just need to know where is the best place to train to high levels for the second attack on the Elite 4, any suggestions???

Xaviar October 31st, 2008 7:54 PM

What types are you training?

If you're training Psychic- or Flying-types, there's a really good spot south of the volcano on One Island with a bunch of Fighting-type trainers. There's a double-battle and two single battle trainers, I believe.

JollyRoger25 October 31st, 2008 8:07 PM

I'm taining Grass and Poison Types, the same pokemon, Bulbasaurs, and its family specifcally.

Xaviar October 31st, 2008 8:19 PM

Right, right, FrLg Challenge... I shoulda figured.

Well, there's bound to be tons of spots where there's some Swimmer trainers... Just Surf out there and spam the Trainer Battle-thingy. Can't remember what it's called at the moment.

There are about 4 trainers swimming with eachother south of Fuchsia, that could prove to be worthwhile with enough Vs Seeking. You should get yourself a Ditto and have 6 venusaurs :P

JollyRoger25 October 31st, 2008 8:35 PM

Well I have four, and my last two slots are being taken up by HM Slaves, but I intend to take on the Leauge with a party full of Venasaurs!!!!!!!

Xaviar October 31st, 2008 8:38 PM

Sounds like a Venasaur-fest if you ask me. My challenge is coming along good, but I lost my FireRed again...

Does the Vs. Seeker work on water?

ErickaVolt October 31st, 2008 8:41 PM

It depends on the types. But I trained my Pokemon at the Victory Road or the Orange Islands.

Dukey October 31st, 2008 9:32 PM

Just swim around the ocean, there are enough trainers out there to train up on xD

JollyRoger25 October 31st, 2008 9:32 PM

Yes it does, I just need to know the best place that has the highest level trainers, along with the most.

And don't forget to get some lucky eggs from wild chansey. They increase how much exp you get from each battle.

Ayouki Emerald October 31st, 2008 11:43 PM

Well either the E4 or the Sevii Islands, especially Island Seven. Though, it depends on the types that you are raising. IMHO.

Wichu November 1st, 2008 1:37 AM

I just fought the E4 (second round) over and over until I won. It all depends on whether your Venusaurs can OHKO Lorelei's Pokémon...

Jack-o-Lantern November 1st, 2008 2:48 AM

Well, My favourite place to train was at the bottom of Island 7 because of the house you could heal in and the 2 trainers;

I'v been trying for weeks to obtain a Lucky Egg, but as rarely as I see Chansy, and as rarely as I catch them, so far nothing.

Could someone list a guide for the best places Pre-Elite Four to train all types?

I train a variety of different types of Pokemon so I was curious if someone could type out a guide of different areas that would benefit all the different types?
