Kotowari July 17th, 2009 11:16 AM

Well, Welcome to the club. =D

I could use some help, yes.
I'm trying to figure the 8 heroes thing out. I am planning making 7 of them, and/or let the 8th one me a shapeshifter (be it a Laguz or one of the those things for the GBA games) and let it disappear on one of the remote islands.
During the passing of ages, their being turned into remaining stories. What do you say?

Zero° July 17th, 2009 11:20 AM

Oh My Fire Emblem?
just trying out a FE catch phrase~

UraharaSteph July 17th, 2009 11:25 AM

Um just got to ask, does anyone know where I can get the ROMs for this game... and what all this entails (<<< Is an UBER n00b at all this but I got to start somewhere right?)

Zero° July 17th, 2009 11:27 AM

sadly, you can't give out links to roms, i would tell you, but it's illegal. When I started, i tried googling. then I found a rom site that had everything and is super cool, so I stuck with that one.

If I give you my e-mail you think you could give me the link? Ahaha XD I suppose I should try googling it

Kotowari July 17th, 2009 11:47 AM

If you give me your email, I could. o3o
Don't worry, I won't spam you with anything....

UraharaSteph July 18th, 2009 7:06 AM

IT's terrible! I was up all night playing Fire Emblem ): And now im tired ):

N-XIGE July 19th, 2009 11:13 AM

I'd love to say 'it depends on which Fire Emblem you were playing' but I wont since all of them are on the same parallel line of 'Nice!'...

Long time people! Well, there's not much to say-I doubt 'kip' can upgrade me over the "?" number of pages I've missed...would I say 25? Is it accurate...and Urahara; Like your avi.

UraharaSteph July 19th, 2009 12:03 PM

Haha thank you! I have to admit I'm new to fire emblem and to be honest I got into it after playing the Super Smash bros series! I wanted to learn about Marth, Roy and Ike. Kotowari provided me with my first game. Fire Emblem 7, Eliwood's story and I have to say I'm absolutely ADDICTED to it.
Seriously, this must be my third day of straight playing it. I'm on chapter 23 I think? I'm having difficulties with it, so I'm taking a break to post on this place aha~
Any advice would be good, thank you.

(Oh by the way... ERK FTW!)

Barney. July 19th, 2009 12:58 PM

What's the chapter called? I can help.

I personally hate playing Fire Emblem on an Emulator...It's so much better to hold it in your hands.

UraharaSteph July 19th, 2009 1:37 PM

Oh! Believe me! I know the feeling! Fire Emblem is like the first Emulator game I have ever played... but I can't find the game anywhere in England and I'm not allowed to order online... so I had to turn to this... But! I'm defo buying the game for DS and I'm being given the Wii one!

The Chapter is called
Four-Fang Offense

Barney. July 20th, 2009 4:45 AM

What a shame.
I bought mine like, the day it came out in europe :3.
And yeah, get Shadow Dragon and Radiant Dawn, they're great.

Ah Four Fang Offensive..Never liked this one XD.

That is though, if you're fighting Lloyd? if it's Linus..You lucky bugger.

If you're fighting Lloyd, you get the chance to get general wallace. Grand...Build walls with your units and slowly move up on the offensive, use you're most defensive on the front..[self-explanitory]..Send Lyn and a small pack of units (around 2 or 3) to the right to get wallace, if you still have the chance to fight Lloyd, then Wallace is a massive help...You may lose a unit on this chapter, but you can keep that from happening if you persevere.

If you're fighting Linus, you get the cahnce to get Geitz [awesome]. You must have your lords at a combined level of 50 then...Then you must talk with Dart [awesome]...If you don't have Dart, tough shiz...But I *think* he may join after the chapter if you don't kill him, not sure on that. Anyway, Axe users are the key here, apart from the boss fight..I find this chapter easier if you just take every fight as it comes, and try and go through as strong as possible.

Hope this helped.

If you've already beaten this chapter then I've just wasted my time >.>

Kotowari July 20th, 2009 7:01 AM

PEOPLE! I have excellent news! I hope..

I'm leaving tomorrow for France for a week. =B So, I thought I owed it too you guys to finish this first. =3 Feel free to comment/alter, since we NEED it. I'm so tired right now... so the later part might be somewhat... bad. XD (not that the first one is that good). It's just a try out. =O
[ ] Indicate that I need names, mainly for the continent itself and the countries. =B

Spoiler:

1) Nomads
2) Wyvernriders
3) Magicwielders
4)Swordwielders
5)Lancewielders
6)Pegasus riders
7)Axewielders
8)Shape shifters. (Seas down below)

[There once was a time when the continent of [ ] was covered with the sound of weaponclatter. The lands were destroyed and the rivers were dyed a deep red.
No day passed or countless people died in the war between the several tribes. Each of those tribes searched for victory in form of domination over the others. But none was really strong enough to hold on 'till the end.
It was at one point that completely unrelated people stood up and decided that all of this madness had to end.
Be it by horse, Wyvern, or on foot, these people roamed the lands in search of a solution that could save their tainted homelands.
Their journey came to an end when all of them arrived on the island in the middle of the continent. Surrounded by almost impenetrable mangrove forest and a strip of water, the eight arrived on the island almost at the same time, as if they were called to by a voice no one else could hear.
As by a miracle, the island had survived the war and had remained untouched. In the centre of the centre, they found a small altar, for a goddess whom was called the Guardian of the world. She had been put to sleep a long time ago.
With their voices the eight called for her. One man alone would not have been able to awaken her, but together their prayers reached her ears.
Upon hearing the dreadful news of the war and listening to their request for peace, the goddess sent her divine breath over the world. The wind gathered the feelings of chaos, lust for war and the will to destroy in the middle of the circle the eight had formed around the altar.
With their talents and strengths, the eight managed to weaken the demons enough for the goddess to lock them up in a simple amulet.
She assured the eight that she would never let go of the amulet, in order to prevent history from repeating itself.
And to confirm her words, she changed into a tree made of the purest crystal. Though alive, the plant formed the perfect prison for the amulet, which was surrounded by a blaze of now blue, then red, flames. With its roots, the Divine Tree made sure that no one could enter the cavern beneath it's stem, but those that descended from the eight.
With what remained of her powers, the goddess, sent the eight away with the message to gather the people of their homelands and create a land that was pleasant to live in. She gave each one of them the strength to fulfil their last task, but took something in exchange from them as well. The strength of the eight would give her the strength to live. And so they went.

The vast plains in the far west were burnt down countless times, and the scorching sun permitted nothing to grow. All that could survive were some kind of grass and few small, insignificant trees. Despite these hard conditions, Aatu (noble wolf) lead his people to live a life of wanderings. On their horses they roamed the plains, in tribes of different sizes. Their arguments got no further than small skirmishes. The land that the nomads called their home was named [ ].
In the north the plains slowly transgressed into the mountain range that covers the north side of [ ] and the biggest part of the eastern lands. Although life promised to be harsh for the people who would live there, Toryn lead his people into the mountains. The beasts they rode felt most at ease in their natural habitat. The Wyvernriders of [ ] still honour the name of their first king.
Between the lands of Aatu and Toryn lays a land that's mostly covered by dark woods; conifers in the north on the sides of the mountains, to broadleaf trees more south. Using the wood of these trees, some settlements would grow to be the grand and magnificent cities of [ ] we know nowadays. Aleiyah (descended, risen) founded a religion in honour of the goddess that had helped her and her companions to clean the world. Many of her followers became gifted with the art of Magic (Light (centre)/Anima (south)/ Dark (North)) and were quite intelligent.
In the lands south of Toryn's lands, on the edge of the mountain range, the people of Sybren (Sword of Victory) found a vain of iron mineral, of which they could craft high-quality swords and armour. It was for this reason that that land of [ ] became famous for it's many knights. But they weren't the only one to profit from their ore.
The Wyvernriders of [ ], who lived in the major part of the mountains, felt that they too, had right of the mines. In the end, they agreed to help guarding the mines, in trade for high-quality spears and lances.
Iestryn (justice), who had until now wandered the lands with no weapons beside his trusty lance, somehow felt a little jealous...
Although in the beginning, they mainly wanted the iron for their lances, the spearwielders of [ ] in the far south, they started a very stretched out business plan, which consists of more than trading iron. Their merchants are welcome in the whole of [ ], and are known for their high-quality goods.
The sixth of the eight, was the girl known as Nelani (Calm of the Air). She lived in the lands south of the Nomads, [ ].
Nelani rode a very rare kind of horse, the flying Pegasus. And those preferred the sappy grasslands and fertile grounds over the rough plains of the nomads. Many of the girls (as Pegasi prefer female riders) hoped to once become a part of the gracious Pegasus Knights of [ ].
As the land with the longest exploitable coastline [ ], has known many families who found their wealth in the sea. One of them was the strong axe-wielder, Daylen. Many of the people who lived under his leadership found their taste in axes of all kinds. The man of [ ] have a reputation of being rough people, however...
But the presence of the sea has brought forth several troublesome gangs, that even still now scare many of the sea dwellers.

The last of the Heroic Eight, is one of whom we know least. Little more than the name of their leader we do not possess.
It is told that Ylwa (Female of Wolf), fled with her people to the remote islands in the Southern Seas. Some rumours even claim that they were possessed by the spirits of Animals and had the opportunity to change form. This has, however, not been confirmed up to now.

It is now, more than sevenhundred years since the "Purification" of the lands. Although the boundaries of the lands have been clearly drawn, those that carry the heritage of the Eight, are spread all over the land of [ ]. But despite that, many still live where they were lead to. Few Wyvernriders leave their lands... and the cities of [ ] are still known for their scholars.

-Alden Scryver, school of []-]

It is indeed now more than sevenhundred years ago since what has been named in legends the so-called "Purification". The island in the middle of the continent still holds the Sacred Tree, known as the Crystal Guardian. The thick mangrove forest still protects the gateway to the keeping of the Burning Amulet, also known as the Fire Emblem.
Many of the stories have faded, or have been heavily altered, leaving few of their original content. Most of the commoners found these stories of a legendary past to be a mere way of spending free time in bars...
But sometimes on very clear days, the Tree, hidden from the eyes, reflects countless of sunrays on it's crystal surface. If one is lucky, they catch a glimpse of this colourful beauty.

But the peace that lasted long on this land is being threatened. Goldoar, King of [ ], has been conversing with Renolf, king of []. Rumours say that they have been discussing a way to get their hands on the Fire Emblem. What they are up to, is unknown to anyone.
When the daughter of Renolf hears of this, she tells her son, Raven, to travel to the Sacred Tree, to make sure it remains safe. But Renolf doesn't like his grandson, and sends shady people after him.
Raven manages to fight them of together with his most trusted companions. Eventually they reach the three... but all seems okay. But what if the purpose of Raven's journey, without his mother's knowledge, was twisted to fit in the bigger plans of his grandfather? Raven's pure and slightly naïve heart holds the blood of Sybren, and is thus capable to unleash the chaos upon the lands... he is, however, unaware of this...
If by his mistake the lands are unleashed onto Chaos, he will need all the help he can get to fight it...

Hope, you enjoy, and sorry again for the very long wait... I should have finished this a month ago D:

UraharaSteph July 21st, 2009 10:35 AM

Thanks purple! I got through it... with the cost of a unit.... In fact it really sucks, it came at the cost of Wallace.... but it's took me so long to freaking do it that I thought "BAH! SCREW IT! Lloyd is deaded and thats good enough for me!" =S I still have Oswin dude though so... And Hawkeye is pretty awesome for defence.

Kotowari July 29th, 2009 12:36 PM

*Slams door so hard that everyone wakes up*

What's this? What's this? I've been gone for a week and ONLY ONE reply has been made? I thought this club was more active... :< I was kinda expecting at least one or two critiques on my intropost since it had been awaited for quite a while now... -sigh-

Anyways.... I've got around to playing Shadow Dragon on a friend's DS while in France... And I must say, despite not having advanced very far, I already notice that I'm missing something.
While Marth has his personalised battle sprite, the others don't, and are barely recognisable. In FE7 and co, even if it was just a different colour, they were always recognisable.
Also, I find it odd that only Marth can visit villages. >_> And what's with sacrifising a potentially good unit to escape? D: There goes my rule of finishing the game without casualties.

Also, Lloyd would make an awesome unit if you could recruit him. o3o

UraharaSteph August 6th, 2009 11:51 AM

Shadow Dragon has been a disappointment, I have to say I'm glad I brought it second hand and didn't pay the full price for it... THE SPRITES LOST CUTNESS! ): Such a shame!

Oh and off topic:
*Breathes life into the thread*

Kotowari August 6th, 2009 12:05 PM

Off topic: Thank you, Steph. Seth :3
Blaze, you have a nice theme. :3

On topic: I made new FE fanart. =D Well, new, not quite... since my last post, yeah, but. XD

http://mudkipblader.deviantart.com/art/Racing-against-the-Lord-131469625 :3

Anyways.... We need a topic... if our RP is dying again. ;-;

People you'd support/pair up even if they don't have canon support option?

Vanessa and Cormag (FE8 - SS)... For some reason, they appear to me as a cute couple. And despite Cormag's dark and cool Game Art, he has a soft spot for kitties... Awesome. XD

Barney. August 7th, 2009 12:59 PM

Kippy I'm so sorry.

Anyway, I've read through it and I think it's great, you really out-did yourself :D.

It should be a game ._.

I will help you with the "[]s" and so will "everyone else".

Anyway..Topic.

My gaming side says Boyd and Titania..Just because.
My romantic side says Sain and Lyn..Because Sain deserves her.
and...

My peverted side says Fiora and Lyn.

EDIT: Forgot Dart and Fiora. Same level. Both awesome.

Kotowari August 7th, 2009 1:06 PM

You are just in time for posting, Blaze. I was almost planning on double posting, since I'm searching on youtube for FE [MAD]-videos. XD Omg, it's hilarious; XD I'm in such a good mood, I can't be mad, so don't fret about, Blaze. :3
(It all started when I saw a FF6 x FMA cross-over animation someone posted. I saw more FF6 ones and then I thought, hey, why no FE ones?)

Alright, I hope I will get help with the names of the countries, cities, regions and what not. :3 Because I'm not that good in making up geographic things. |D People's names were easy, since I found a baby-naming site where you can search on 'meaning'. XD

Anyways, I still say LynxRath, just... because. o3o
Sain and Lyn, because he deserves her? You're right though. :3 I think Sain should get a very sweet and pretty lady. -^_^-

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8I1rvEklhg Here's the first one, enjoy. :3 Danjo Danjo.

Barney. August 7th, 2009 2:05 PM

Lol, I laughed alot at 2:04 XD.

Yeah, Kippy I'll help you with the Names, I'll be thinking about them, you'll hear my ideas either in a VM or in apost here.

Kotowari August 7th, 2009 2:49 PM

So did I. Eliwood, Hector AND Lyn on sugar = awesomeness. :3

Alright, thanks, Blaze. :3 Once everything is settled, we can finally start. pfoo~ I want to know where everyone else went, though? :O It seems like PC (or at least the area I'm active in) somehow died down when I went to France. o3o"

ROFL! Oh those videos are totally awesome! I loved the Soul Eater one :O Along with the Ouran High School Host Club! Bah I loved them all :P Anyone else which they could make videos like that? XD

Mmm... Support Pairings eh? TacticianXAnyone! Or SerraXLucius. They have Support conversations, but no ending together ): And yet they would make an awesome couple. He must be like one of the only guys to ever receive so many compliments from her xD. Mmm If I was into Yaoi then Marth and Ike would be a cute couple XD But I'm not so they're not allowed to be. ErikaXInnes I like that.

And yes, LynXSain! Those to would be awesome together ):

Also, you need names for places? Ummmmm Well the easiest thing to do was take two words and splice them together. Like for a mountain area.... Skittain (Pronounced Skit-Tain. Sky and Mountain. Or you could stick two random things together. Deaten. Death and Eaten. XD. Play around with things! It's quite fun :P

Kotowari August 8th, 2009 2:35 PM

Well, I'd rather have the areas have awesome names that sound like they could come from a real FE game. Crimea, Begnion, Elibe, Pherae, Ostia (now that's Greek), Daein, Caledonia (now that's Scotland XD, even if it's Calcedonia (I'm in doubt), it's still Scotland)... Skittain doesn't quite have the same ring to it, does it? ^^"

Btw... Since there's Ostia and Caledonia in Elibe, it's helps strengthen my believe that Elibe is based on Western Europe. Even the shape of the continent's borders... There's Nabata, which looks a little like Spain and Portugal. The Western Isles (Caledonia), which strongly remind me of the United Kingdom.
Bern would be Swizerland, Austria (Mountainous area + BERN = Capital of Switzerland)
Not to mention that Etruria is/was a part of Italy (Tuscany)...
I dunno... maybe I'm ranting and seeing things.. but I will continue to believe that there's a strong similarty between Western Europe and Elibe. XDD

Also, more video time. =D
Japanese Adds
Spoiler:

Ankoku Ryu to Hikari no Ken (excuse me if there's something wrong)

Fuuin no Tsurugi ( Sword of Seals)

Akatsuki no Megami (Radiant Dawn (litt: Goddess of Dawn))

More RD/AnM... now for Classic Controler

Rekka no Ken/Blazing Sword

America's version of ^ (somehow)

Monsho no Nazo (now this one I think is ok XD)

Very nice RD/PoR GMV (what does MAD stand for anyways? XD)

Barney. August 8th, 2009 3:03 PM

Some place names for your lovely mind:

Marrhae, Onicyx, Yerrahora, Westeria, Hyxia, Dycea.

Just some for you to ponder over.

Kotowari August 10th, 2009 4:36 AM

Oh. :O Those sound very nice. :3 I specially like the first one. :O
And what would you like to see them used for? :3

http://mudkipblader.deviantart.com/art/Losing-Ninian-132716638
I have more art. o3o "Offical" Art this time. XD

The Magus August 11th, 2009 7:14 AM

I wish I could draw that well.... and I'm still firmly Lyn x Eliwood... but for non-normal pairings I'd say Florina x Tactition... and maybe Fiora x Sain? Or we could torture Sain with Serra...

Barney. August 11th, 2009 1:46 PM

Great art kipstah.

I don't really mind where they're used..If you like the first one, then I guess that could be the Lord's region or something.

Kotowari August 12th, 2009 12:06 AM

Allright. :3
Once I feel awake enough, I'll try to figure out something. ^_^
Maybe I'll do that... I'll see if it doesn't fit better elsewhere. Thanks for your cooperation. x3

Aha, thanks. ^_^ But it's merely a paint-over. So, I don' take all the credit. ^^"

Haha, Sain x Serra... Now THAT is a great crack pairing. =3 Awesome. ^_^

CyBeastSaber August 25th, 2009 7:56 AM

Ahhhh~ ..... I should get stabbed for being offline for so long... Um... I'll go read up on what everyone has being planning... so BRB! xDDD

Roy-Kun August 25th, 2009 8:59 AM

WHAT THERE WAS A FIRE EMBLEM FANCLUB?

I don't need to say what I have to say, do I? xD

Barney. August 26th, 2009 12:40 PM

Welcome Roy-Kun.

NARUTO WHY DO YOU TAUNT ME SO :'(

Kotowari August 26th, 2009 3:03 PM

OK....why didn't I see there was posted here, yesterday? =O I almost regarded this club as good as dead. Almost.
I'm happy to see that we have a new member here.
Roy-kun, we wish you a very happy happy stay here, and, if I may be so frank, would you mind joining Lord Raven's army (aka, our soon to be Role Play)?

YES PEOPLE! I SAID SOON! I'm tired of postponing this thing always... Tomorow or Friday, before the weekend, I will post that ... roleplay post. (v")v PROMISE. >:
I will take suggestions for a title though... I'm not that sure of those I have in mind...
Goddess of the Tree (lawl, Radiant Dawn (Goddess of Dawn) parody)
Flame of Crystal ...
I dunno. DX

PS, roy-kun, you have a very nice Roy sprite in your theme. :3 The little boy's all grown up there. XD Yet he ain't as awesome as his dad though

Roy-Kun August 26th, 2009 3:19 PM

Sure, I will enjoy the stay :'D (And of course... just explain me a bit of that, i'm a rookie at roleplays).

B-but Roy is awesome! D:

Kotowari August 26th, 2009 3:26 PM

Ahah, great. ^_^
Don't worry about that... our roleplay is still a little unstead in it's shoes... i'm still figuring out how to implement some of Fire Emblem's greatest things (such as the weapon/magic/Anime triangle, class promotions, turnbased battles, items, shops, etc) into a story...
Have you read the manga (FE6 or FE3)? I'm gonna base myself a little on how they do it... although they don't go into detail in that one. x)

The basic plan is that everyone has 2 units he/she can freely control, but only that person... there will be a bunch of spare units that can be used freely by everyone... Of course characters can be borrowed if needed.... buh, it's getting needlessly complicated when I start explaining things... the fact that it's really late, and that I'm tired, isn't really helping... =_=

Yeah, I know... but I still find Eliwood to be more awesome DX

alright people, I'm off to bed, see you tomorrow

Roy-Kun August 26th, 2009 3:30 PM

Yeah, I've read the manga of FE6. That ending kind of makes you think of an Sequel, since Idoun is missing.

Ah! You are gonna bse yourself on that? Hm... fine.

I kinda got an idea of how it could be then.

meganium14 August 26th, 2009 4:41 PM

ooooh a fire emblem club may i join

To my shame, I must say that I have not yet finished the manga yet... But's it's deffinitally on my list of soon-to-read manga.
Well, I'm not quite gonna base myself on the manga, since we're starting a completely new story, with characters that have (preferably) no relation to existing characters. I've posted the intro on the page before. :3
It's just that I'm saying that somehow we'll have to make it feel like it's a Fire Emblem Role Play and not just some random fantasy/war RP... But the elements that are easy to in-game, will be harder to discribe in "Real life" (as in written)... How are you gonna make sure that a Mage with Thunder has the advantage over a mage with Wind... when one person just keeps avoiding....
Or when a Myrmidon attacks a bandit, but the bandit keeps deflecting the attacks of the sword, since he's good at it? Where's the Weapon/Anime/Magic triangle there?
It will need a lot of effort from the writer to somehow use it. :3

And Meganium14, sure you may. :3

UraharaSteph August 28th, 2009 1:26 PM

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan for FLUX sake! There needs to be more members posting more for the love of all Elibe! Ah... I'm not one to talk Im not the best member haha. Ummmm I'm going to read over your little Role Play thingie and decide if Im going to take part, but it sounds.... >_> Complicated ahha.

The land that the nomads called their home was named Dycea.
In the north the plains slowly transgressed into the mountain range that covers the north side of Dycea and the biggest part of the eastern lands. Although life promised to be harsh for the people who would live there, Toryn lead his people into the mountains. The beasts they rode felt most at ease in their natural habitat. The Wyvernriders of Hylexia still honour the name of their first king.
Between the lands of Aatu and Toryn lays a land that's mostly covered by dark woods; conifers in the north on the sides of the mountains, to broadleaf trees more south. Using the wood of these trees, some settlements would grow to be the grand and magnificent cities of Yerrahora we know nowadays.
It was for this reason that that land of Onicyx became famous for it's many knights. But they weren't the only one to profit from their ore.
The Wyvernriders of Hylexia, who lived in the major part of the mountains, felt that they too, had right of the mines. In the end, they agreed to help guarding the mines, in trade for high-quality spears and lances.
Iestryn (justice), who had until now wandered the lands with no weapons beside his trusty lance, somehow felt a little jealous...
Although in the beginning, they mainly wanted the iron for their lances, the spearwielders of Albarhea in the far south, they started a very stretched out business plan, which consisted of more than trading iron. Their merchants are welcome in the whole of [ ], and are known for their high-quality goods.
The sixth of the eight, was the girl known as Nelani (Calm of the Air). She lived in the lands south of the Nomads, Westeria.
Nelani rode a very rare kind of horse, the flying Pegasus. And those preferred the sappy grasslands and fertile grounds over the rough plains of the nomads. Many of the girls (as Pegasi prefer female riders) hoped to once become a part of the gracious Pegasus Knights of the empire of Westeria.
As the land with the longest exploitable coastline Marheae, has known many families who found their wealth in the sea. One of them was the strong axe-wielder, Daylen. Many of the people who lived under his leadership found their taste in axes of all kinds. The men of Marheae have a reputation of being rough people...
But the presence of the sea has brought forth several troublesome gangs, that even still now scare many of the seadwellers.

Few Wyvernriders leave their lands... and the cities of Yerrahora are still known for their scholars.

...How it will continue

It is indeed now more than sevenhundred years ago since what has been named in legends the so-called "Purification". The island in the middle of the continent still holds the Sacred Tree, known as the Crystal Guardian. The thick mangrove forest still protects the gateway to the keeping of the Burning Amulet, also known as the Fire Emblem.
Many of the stories have faded, or have been heavily altered, leaving few their original content.

Goldoar, King of Hylexia, has been conversing with Renolf, king of Onicyx.

(Possible) FAQ

1)How do I sign up?
Fill in the form below and post it in the Fire Emblem Fanclub. This is to avoid unnecessary posts about joining in the middle of our story.

Unless stated otherwise, you will be added to the member’s list of the FEC as well.

2)Form
Name: (Full) name of your character
Age:
Gender:
Class: Class of your character (e.g. Mage, Myrmidon, Pirate, Wyvernrider...)
Nationality: Country your character is from
Features: What does he/she look like
(Short) Biography: What happened to your character before he/she joined our rp?
Additional Information: What else do we need to know? Weaponry? Special skills? Side (good/bad)? Recruitable?

3)How many characters can I have?
Everyone has either 1 or 2 characters, no more, that are completely theirs to control. These characters CAN’T be borrowed, unless there is actually no other option. Of course, small gestures that are in character can be done...
There will be, however, a large quantity of NPC’s (non-player characters) who can be freely used. Their actions should be IC as well, and should make sense. One person can’t be at two places at the same time.

While Boy2 was sitting outside looking at the sun, he saw NPC1 (the same one as ^) fighting with NPC 2 -> not good...

4)can my character die? Or get hurt?
Yes, he/she can... although no one wants to die though. The wounded can be healed by the Staff Wielders... but they aren’t gods...
Major injuries should be taken care of in the Medical Corner. :3 And that character won’t be able to fight unless he/she is OK again...

5)What about The Weapon/Anima/Magic Triangle?
Swords -> Axes -> Lances -> Swords (-reavers turn the triangle around)
Light -> Dark -> Anima -> Light
Wind -> Fire -> Thunder -> Wind (I think...)

It is nearly impossible to implement this in a story-based RP... at least much more difficult than a stat-based GAME. In our RP, the characters fight with their own abilities (as chosen by the writer), none of them is invincible, all have good and bad points... Those stats aren’t generated by random numbers. But keep the triangles in mind... It might work if you think of it somehow (Axes can cut the spear’s “stick” more easily than a sword (?), Spears can hit swordwielders more easily, and Swords fight Axes somehow...

6)What about Items? (Healing, Weapons, Promotion...)
There will be of course Vulneraries, Elixirs etc... They’ll somehow make you feel better... As in some kind of medicine.
Weapons durability won’t be counted in times you use them (like an Iron Sword that breaks after 45 times), but in the way you choose...
The Weapon Level won’t change though... You’ll know for yourself when you’re ready to upgrade.
Promotion isn’t done by levels, but by achievement. If you’ve done something well, you will earn the right to promote. You’re class will be changed in you’re character’s file... and of course you’ll be promoted story-wise.
Money? The lord(s) will take care of that.. And make sure there’s enough supply when needed.

Everything seems perfect to me! I'm going to fill out the form as soon as I can, but have you still not got a name for the place as a whole yet? Everything seems simple enough, it's not as complicated as I first thought and it looks quite exciting.

Prologue
...How it all began

There once was a time when the continent of [ ] was covered with the sound of weapon clatter.

Urgent: Continent Name wanted.... And please make it original. x)

In Fire Emblem, most names come from Mythologies from foreign countries, they have signaficant meanings, such as Nergal, the god of war, and his magic spell, forgot the name, the goddess of the underworld. (I'm trying to come up with a Continent name BTW) I like the concept of the story, I'll RP! It'll be the first one I've ever done that has an organized story.

Continent naming Idea:
1.Amaterasu, meaning 'Shining over heaven'
2.Andraste, meaning 'invincible'
3.Anat, meaning 'Water spring'
4.Anubis(I know it doesn't fit with the continent but...)Meaning, 'Royal Child'
5.Aodh, meaning 'Fire' from the old Irish name 'Aed'
6.Bellona or Bellare, meaning 'To fight'

these are the ones I lieked, I'll link you to the page where i got these names, if you need help, or if you didn't like the ones above. Here it is:

Oh, thank you... I'll deffinitally think about it. But I hope you can forgive if I do that tomorrow? It's getting late and my thinking ability drops with the seconds that pass... I can't even study at night, I need my sleep. XD
Well, I knew of some FE people who's name came from legends (at least those I read on FEWikia), but I hadn't really searched in that area.
The names I got for the founders I got from a name site. I looked for names that had anything to do with who or what they were...
I got most of the countries' names from Purple., but I don't know where he got them.
As I said, I'll check it tomorrow...

And you saying that you'll join, makes me really happy. ^_^ Oh, is that true? :o

PS: I'm starting to like the name of Andraste... could work. ^_^

Hi, it's me again. DX And I have yet to modify my rp post. I SWEAR it's gonna be up this week... and very soon. ;-; Forgive me please, again...
Oh, btw, I would very much like it you guys start thinking about your characters. :3 And the NPC's as well. ^_^

And... I need your help again... With the actual game. Blaze, once again I'm stuck in that [censor] chapter where you fight the second Reed Brother.
Although things kinda changed since last time. I am facing Lloyd at the moment, and he's giving me a very hard time. >_>
1)It's hard for me to hit him
2)It's hard for him to hit me
3)Until he critics and defeats my character in a OHKO.

Although my team is fairly stronger than last time, I miss the unit of a strong deffence, strong offence with lance in the form of Oswin. I regret not training him higher than lvl 11...

I have a two Paladin (Sain and Lowen), two promoted Lords (Hector and Lyn), a sage (Erk), A bisshop (Lucius), almost a Druid (Canas, lvl 18), a Nomad Trooper (Rath), Eliwood (lvl19), a Falcoknight (? - Florina), a Wyvernrider (Heath (lvl 20, I don't have another Elysian whip... Should I use the Earth Seal?), a Myrmidon (Guy lvl 10something), Ninian, Merlinus, Priscilla (lvl 17)...
I guess those are most of the units I use... Might be forgetting someone...
I don't need help with defeating the units or recruiting Vaida, that works... almost each time. Just with Lloyd. I tried Sain with Silver Lance... But it's as stated above. He misses a few times, and when he starts hitting Lloyd, Lloyd critics him -> OHKO

Shesh.... you have quite the ordeal there.... which is not good... xDDD To tell you the truth... I used Nino (on purpose)to kill him... >.> But that's only if you bothered to train her during the previous chapter so that's out of the question... If I'm correct, he carries a Light Brand for this fight... (which would conflict with the RES of your units)

I have a small question... Does Lloyd ever run out to meet you when your units get close enough? If he doesn't that's good... If he does.... you're kinda screwed... I have had that happen to me sometimes but usually he doesn't run out.

(Yes, you should use your Earth Seal to promote Heath.... since I doubt you'd find any more of the Elysian Whips.)

Florina might put up a fight (being those RES type units but using Weaps instead of Magic) but she might be HP fragile (as she always is in my play throughs). A good LUK unit(s) will seriously put down most of his crits but don't get too confident and magic users are out of the question (since his RES is quite huge if I'm right). Oh and your idea of using Oswin would kind of become useless because of what I said earlier about his Light Brand conflicting with the RES instead of the DEF of your units. Oswin would get PWNED in one fight because of his terrible SPD and RES (but he does have insane STR and DEF mind you.)

Maybe you should pump Sain's SKL with some secret books and also have a secondary ranged team as well. If you have another spare Silver Lance, give it to Lowen, if not, a SPEAR will do thus forcing him to be ranged without risk of being CRIT-ed. You could still try your magic users (cept Canas >.> )to bring down his HP along with Rath if he can use a Silver Bow. Hector with a Swordreaver might do a lot of damage but his accuracy is questionable at THIS point with Lloyd's insane SPD/avoid. A lvl 10 Guy.... don't even make his presence known to Lloyd... xD The three most probable DMG-dealers are gonna be Sain w/ Silver, Lowan w/ Silver/Spear, and Hector w/ Swordreaver (you'd be lucky to get a Swordslayer which will PWN any merc/myrms) AND probably Rath with a Silver but I don't know the EXACT stats of your units to be sure of most things. Eh... hope this aided you JUST a bit... :3 Ask me more or Blaze if you need anything else... a list of stats and whatnot would help me tacticallize(woot made-up word!) a bit more.... :3

Kotowari September 1st, 2009 3:07 PM

Thank you, Naruto... It seems like I should hand Vaida some other weapon to fight with instead of her spear. XD

As for Guy, he's level 10something, 17 to be exact. It is possible he's 20 near the end of this chapter. I use him with the lancereaver to take out the wyverns (together with Heath and Eliwood, since they are near to recruit Vaida) and cavaliers up north, so he gets quite some exp (Lyn as well). I'll try and see if I can, as you say rely on ranged attacks. If I have to use the Secret book for Sain though, I'll have to sell other things to get money. o3o I need some silverware. XD
Rath is fairly ok as a ranged attacker against Lloyd. I just wished he'd be able to shoot 4times with the Brave Bow, and not just 2 times. ;-;

More stats?
Ok... Let me see.

Hope that helped? XD And don't laugh with my stats please~ :3 I'm a bad tactician. |D

Zero° September 1st, 2009 3:21 PM

I'm making an FE hack, it'll consist of the stats and weapons/item from FE10. Also, if you noticed in FE9 how there are certain Band or ring items that promote growth, such as knight band, they give you 5%boost in a stat, so I took all the character growth and gave them 5%more depending on their class. Vulneraries now have 8 use, and elixirs have 5, all weapon stats have been switched to fit the ones from FE10, Legendary Weapons such as Sol Katti have been made infinite use, and promotion items now have 2 uses :3
what do you think?

Zero° September 2nd, 2009 2:14 PM

OK, I'm signing up! I'll only sign one character for now:
Spoiler:

Form
: Zero Kiuna
Age: 16
Gender: it's a boy :D
Class: Mymidon
Nationality: Lehar
Features: http://www.pokecommunity.com/picture.php?albumid=3761&pictureid=25903

(Short) Biography: He's been an orphan ever since the age of 3. And has been living at an ophanage until the age of 10, when he decieded to leave and pusue his dream of becoming a famous swordsman. Because mymidons were common in Lehar, he decieded to become an apprentice swordsman, at a local Swordsman school. Ever since then, he's been bettering his skills in the sword.
Additional Information: Unlike normal Mymidons; Zero uses two blades in battle. He can only use swords though. Most of the time he's at a serious nature, and he rarely smiles. He's recruited by battling a swordsman of greater skill than he is.

I'm not a very detailed writer/artist :/

Ok, guys, I've finished it. 8D FINALLY. Now, if you'd like to check one more last time, go ahead. XD If I get approval of you guys, I'm gonna submit it for real. :3

Welcome, this is a Roleplay based on the Tactical RPG series Fire Emblem. Everyone is welcome to join, but some knowledge of how Fire Emblem works is needed, or at least preferred.
This Roleplay was started with co-operation of the Fire Emblem Fanclub

Map

1)Dycea (Capital: Kalyan Current Ruler: /) - Nomads
Spoiler:
The southern part is easily the warmest country of Andraste, there’s little rain over the year safe from a few days in the winter season. The bigger towns can be find near the border, even the so-called capital, Kalyan, is located near Westeria. In the bigger towns a District Governor is seated. The people living here are either settled nomads or people from the surrounding countries.
The wastelands (with views ranging from beginning dessertification to the flourishing woods in the mountains) in the middle are inhabited by the wandering Nomad Tribes. Quick as the wind, they can shoot targets from a large distance with their bow. The greatest archers come from the wastelands of Dycea. The Wyvernriders from Gilead often come to the Mountains of Dycea.
The Country is known for it’s special artifacts and spices...

2)Gilead (Capital: Darnell Current Ruler: King Marduk) – Wyvernriders
Spoiler:
Uncrossable mountains cover the area of Gilead. It is here that the Wyvernriders of the North found the ideal living area. The Capital of Darnell seems to be hidden between the peaks. King Marduk rules with a steady hand in the Eastern part of the country, but the Western part is often described as no-mans land, even though many people live here.
Gilead has close relations to Agrona, not just for the mine in the south of the country

3)Yerrahora (Capital: Divinaer Current Ruler: Apostle Rhiannon) - Magicwielders
Spoiler:
Yerrahora is probably the best country to go citytripping. The many magnificent cities built in this land housed many of the greatest scholars the continent has ever known. From far and wide people came to study in the libraries of Divinaer, the capital. Compared to the capital, the beauty of all other cities pales.. The countless towers, statues, fountains, parks, buildings, all in the beige sandstone of Yeh’nagh down south. It is said that those that visit Divinaer never leave... or will return eventually. The religious population is biggest in Yerrahora, for it is the founding place of the religion.

4)Agrona (Capital: Krystle Current Ruler: Caellach) –Swordwielders
Spoiler:
Agrona is a mediocre country, nothing really worth mentioning besides the flourishing iron industry which provides many of its excellent Swordsman with their high quality weapons. The capital Krystle is worth visiting for it’s beautiful palace gardens.
Agrona has close relations wit Gilead.
Their are several rumors about the royal family going around. It is said that king Caellach banished the legal heir to the throne with no good reason, leaving the kings daughter alone with her son.

5)Albarhea (Capital:Mercato Current Ruler:King Lancelot) – Lancewielders
Spoiler:
The white beaches of Albarhea are known all over the continent and a popular vacation resort. The soft, but humid climate inland marks the training ground of the lance men, and the area of greatest business corporations of the continent. The merchants of Albarhea all bear the seal of quality. They trade in everything and you can find them all over the continent. Albarhea’s greatest treat are the cosy and friendly markets all everywhere.

6)Westeria (Capital: Dismas Current Ruler: Empress Sandhya) -Pegasus riders
Spoiler:
Although Westeria borders Dycea, it shares little of its climate. Although the northern provinces are warm and dry, the more south you go, the more humid the climate becomes. Eventually the grass becomes greener and more very suited for the exquisite tastes of the Pegasi that roam the land. Empress Sandhya is a very friendly woman, who makes it her priority to have close bonds to all of the continent. To do this, she often sends out her Pegasusriders in training to work in the other countries. Although the Pegasusknights are all women, the men of the land have an imprortant role in Westeria’s militarism. Copying the style of the northern and southern neighbours, Westeria has some very fine chevaliers in it’s ranks.

7)Marhreae (Capital: Tangaroa Current Ruler: Queen Moana)-Axewielders
Spoiler:
Water. That is the only word needed to describe this land. The many rivers that flow throughout the country have divided the coastline in many islands with their delta’s.
It is no surprise that Marhreae’s specialities all come from the sea. The best boats, the freshest fish, the captains, the pirates... Most of the eventually come from Marhreae’.

8)Seas down below - Shape shifters.

Prologue
...How it all began

There once was a time when the continent of Andraste was covered with the sound of weapon clatter.

The Wyvernriders of Gilead still honour the name of their first king.
It was for this reason that that land of Agrona became famous for it's many knights. But they weren't the only one to profit from their ore.
The Wyvernriders of Gilead, who lived in the major part of the mountains, felt that they too, had right of the mines.
Their merchants are welcome in the whole of Andraste, and are known for their high-quality goods.

Few Wyvernriders leave their lands... and the cities of Yerrahora are still known for their scholars.

-Alden Scryver, school of Divinaer, capital of Yerrahora-

Intro.
...How it will continue

It is indeed now more than sevenhundred years ago since what has been named in legends the so-called "Purification". The island in the middle of the continent still holds the Sacred Tree, known as the Crystal Guardian. The thick mangrove forest still protects the gateway to the keeping of the Burning Amulet, also known as the Fire Emblem.
Many of the stories have faded, or have been heavily altered, leaving few their original content.

Marduk, King of Gilead, has been conversing with Ceallach (war), king of Agrona. Rumours say that they have been discussing a way to get their hands on the Fire Emblem. What they are up to, is unknown to anyone.
When the daughter of Ceallach hears of this, she tells her son, Raven, to travel to the Sacred Tree, to make sure it remains safe. But Ceallach doesn't like his grandson, and sends shady people after him.

One person can’t be at two places at the same time.

next poster

Light -> Dark -> Anima -> Light
Wind -> Fire -> Thunder -> Wind (I think...)

7)More questions?
PM (with topic Fire Emblem RP) or VM them to me, or post it in the Fire Emblem Fanclub

Changes
  • Changed some of the country names and continent
  • Added new map
  • Added tourist information
  • changed some of the names for the rulers as well

Zero, for you hack... I like the idea of more uses for promotion items, but it would only be fair if you'd have a harder time to find them.
As for your character, could you give more detailed information on his looks? (written?) I know they say a picture says more than a 1000 words, but we might be missing something.
And can I doodle him? XD

PS: No worries about chapter 27... Finished it. ^_^

UraharaSteph September 3rd, 2009 5:53 AM

Alright well, first thing it first! Does anyone know how I can tackle chapter 26x on Fire Emblem- blazing Sword. ): I'll give you my team data if you that will help but it's racking my BRAINS out atcha! So any advice is welcome.

Secondly I have a sign up for the Fire Emblem Role Play :3 His name is Xerxes and he'd very much like to join in with this fun times!
Spoiler:
Name : Xerxes Enalon Dread
Age : 20
Gender : Male
Class : Mage
Nationality : Yerrahora
Features : Standing at 6'5ft in height and having a thin but oddly well built body for a mage, Xerxes is a very intimidating man. In the dead of night, no matter how thick the darkness might be, Xerxes' pure yellow eyes will glow and shine brightly earning him the nickname 'Cat's Eye' which he absolutely despises (He believes the nickname isn't accurate due to cats not having yellow eyes.). The intensity of his eye colour is the reason he rarely takes down the hood of his purple cloak, which is decorated with a silver thread around the edge twisting into an unique pattern that his own mother designed. With the hood always up his face is normally hid in the shadows and only at certain times will you be able to see his black locks of slightly messy hair. Truth be told, that on first glance he looks like a Shaman. However, if you are lucky enough to see him with his hood down, he's a very pale young lad with matured good looks although you'll never be lucky enough to see him smile.
(Short) Biography : As a child he was often left to fend for himself. His mother hand made all of his clothes but never had any time to spend with him personally. His father was a mercenary and was hardly ever at home. The face of his father was something Xerxes can't even remember. In fact, he doubts he ever had a chance to look at his father. He was blessed with the skills of magic and is naturally good at them. Although he hates reading his natural skills have earned him slight fame among the south of Yerrahora. Truth be told he is always looking for excuses to leave Yerrahoa, and believes his heart lies with in a sword but it's been proved countless times that his true weapon is Anima magic no matter how he doesn't like it.
Additional Information : He's a good guy and recruitable. He just looks like he's not approachable... and he does look like he's a bad guy. He's scary O_O.

The Wyvernriders of Gilead still honour the name of their first king.
It was for this reason that that land of Agrona became famous for it's many knights. But they weren't the only one to profit from their ore.
The Wyvernriders of Gilead, who lived in the major part of the mountains, felt that they too, had right of the mines.
Their merchants are welcome in the whole of Andraste, and are known for their high-quality goods.

Few Wyvernriders leave their lands... and the cities of Yerrahora are still known for their scholars.

Light -> Dark -> Anima -> Light
Wind -> Fire -> Thunder -> Wind (I think...)

I kinda see what you mean. Should I do something like give them to certain enemies, or hide them in certain hard-to-find spots? Ah well, I'll think of something.

I don't think I understood? Maybe the weapon or the build? Body shape or size, maybe?

Yes, you may doodle him :D

You could do that... But Fire Emblem is known for forcing the player into making choices. It is impossible to promote all units... (unless you count in PoR (and RD?) who have the level-up Promotion at lvl 21)...
So, if you multiply the usage of the promotion items, it would be less hard to promote your units..; So make the harder to find. :3 And not in Secret Shops please. XD

Well, you could describe his weapons. :3 And his backside, the clothes he walks in... And do you mind midieval-ing (?) his clothes? He seems pretty modern dressed... ._."
Also, you might want to change his location.. I don't think I left a "Lehar" in the final version. :3

Alright. I'm currently drawing all the character we have. XD It's much fun.

Man I was actually thinking of secret shops XD I guess I'm gonna hafta change it.

I'll re-draw him. But it'll take time, I usually play RD all weekend, XD I'll change his location once I get back from school.

Yay! Isn't it?

Oh in the name of Ashera, no thanks please. xD Unless you make it a little more obvious as to where these shops are located...
There was this one secret shop in FE7 that was located somewhere in a 2x2 area, only accessable by warping, and was most likely laying in a shaded square. "Look for a suspicious looking place"... As if that is enough to find them. XD

Well, you don't necessairily have to draw him... just a description is fine as well. :3 Oh, I want RD. ;-;
Oh, yes, totally. XD

Oh, yes, totally. XD

I'm almost finished with the hack. I just need to change the base and maximum stats for the classes, and then add the new item locations :3

I finished my drawing this morning, in Spanish class, took me about 15 minutes. I'll also include a written description.

I know right?

Colorful Conversation! FTW!

Kotowari September 6th, 2009 7:15 AM

Oh, awesome. :3 Are you gonna post it on PC?
I'm looking forward to seeying it. ^_^ Then I will doodle him and put all of those I already made right here. XD

Yes totally.

BTW, I picked up Sacred Stones again. I've advanced quite far (according to my standards), and finally finished Ephraim's path... There was no end coming to it. XDD
I'm now at chapter 19: Last hope (?)...
There's just one thing that bugs me though... There are way to few Guiding Rings in that game. Arthur, Lute, Knoll, Ewan, Natasha, L'Arachel... >: It's diffecult to get a mage of all kinds of magic and a healer to promote. ._.

Also...
Anyone has an idea for a title of our RP? It's the only thing that's keeping me from posting it. =/

You wait. There's loads. I promise.

Fire Emblem: Path of Ruin

Completely made up there. XD

Zero° September 7th, 2009 7:58 AM

OK, I'm gonna upload the picture in a bit. My camera's picture source is an SD card, and my computer doesn't have an SD drive, so I have to get my other computer that has an SD drive and put it on a USB, then go to this computer and upload it. wow, alot of work. D:

Kotowari September 7th, 2009 8:00 AM

Actually... That doesn't sound to bad, Blaze. XD Since, up to now, it's the only thing we have, I'll submit it... We could always ask a mod to change it if we find something better...
Anyways, so I'll submit it tonight. 83 Once again, I'm sorry it took way longer than I said first. ^^"

Also... Where? I checked a FAQ somewhere, and the Guiding Rings were seriously low in quantity.

Edit: Alright, Zero (can I still call you that?)

Zero° September 7th, 2009 8:14 AM

Sure, you can still call me Zero. I thought I lost my SD card, but figures I left it on the Wii when I was transfering data to RD. XD
EDIT: OK, the picture has been uploaded, check my post with the spoiler tags^^

Kotowari September 7th, 2009 9:50 AM

Awesome. 83
It really looks more FE-y now. ;3 Sorry I forced you through all that extra effort. :3

For some odd reason unkown to me, Blaze's signature is stuck in your post. ô_ô
Either on the Spoilertags, or on you signature... And it includes the tags Blaze put on them. Whereas Blaze's signature is empty space. o3o

Also, I don't know if anyone checks the frontpage anymore, but I add an awesome Link. o3o

http://www.nintendo.co.jp/fe/index.html

Check it out... It has some awesome Wallpapers... Also, if you have the Google Toolbar translator... That might come in handy. :3

Zero° September 7th, 2009 9:54 AM

It's alright :3 it wasn't that hard. It took me 15 minutes in Spanish class XD

umm..O_O did I mention I can't read Japanese? Other than that, :D looks awesome.
What about the title for the RP?

Barney. September 7th, 2009 10:09 AM

My signature is just that awesome.

It needs to cover Zero's.

That site was awesome!, Now my Desktop is all Fire Emblem-y.

Seriously...I seemed to get them everywhere toward the end...But I haven't played it in ages..It may have been in creature campaign...But I don't think so.

Kotowari September 7th, 2009 12:03 PM

You have a very wierd signature, Blaze. x)

Isn't it?
I like the Sound Museum a lot. It has very nice remixes of the Gameboy songs.^^, such as Lyon's theme (probably the only one I can read. ._."), and the last one in Blazing Sword's option... I suppose it's a version of Ninian's theme?
Also, the Fire Emblem Museum, as they call it, has some nice Official Art in it... Though barely usable for themes and the like, it is awesome to look at. XD
And I guess that at one point they'll put Radiant Dawn's character Art on it as well... =3 And then my prayers shall be heard. XD
Also, the minisite of Shadow Dragon also has some awesome Artwork, besides the usual found on the internet...

Hm, well I see what comes up. :3

Zero, for now I'll stick with Blaze's proposal of "Path of Ruin"... If you have anything else, I'll gladly accept it.

Zero° September 7th, 2009 12:09 PM

I like that name too, "Path of Ruin"
Didn't you say you were gonna doodle the RP characters? XD

Kotowari September 7th, 2009 12:39 PM

Yes... :3 I did say that, and I'm donig it. XD I have Raven, Iphr-
Oh, well, I'll just post them here. XD I haven't done yours though, Zero. =0
So yours is temporarily unavailable. :3
Alright, I present you, the Fire Emblem: Path of Ruin characters:

Raven - Lord (mine)
Xerxes - Mage (Steph's)
Adelaar - Mercenary (Blaze's)
Iphraim - Wyvernlord (mine)

I like the last two the most. ^_^

Blabla, no stealing etc~
Can't really stop one from saving now can I. ._. It's not like they're that good though. XD

Alright, brb~ Gonna submit that rp of ours. :3

Barney. September 7th, 2009 12:48 PM

Okie dokie.

Brilliant Drawings.

Just to say the Adelaar is a Mercenary, not a Myrmidon.

Seriously Blaze, your signature scares me. ._. Now it covers up the sentence where you said that Adelaar's a Mercenary... XD
PS: I knew something was wrong when I typed "Myrmidon". XDD

Also, I submitted. 83 Now it's just waiting...
People, TIME TO FINETUNE YOUR CHARACTERS! STORY IS COMING 8D

I'll take that as a compliment. x3 Thanks. :3

AHHH! Crap.... no net for the weekend and THIS all happens.... hahaha... Geez.... Um... I think I'm going to go find my LUNA.... Hm... Where is she...

Barney. September 8th, 2009 9:01 AM

It's the theme you're in Kippy..My signature doesn't like it.

I'll be fine tuning.

CyBeastSaber September 8th, 2009 9:04 AM

Yay.... found her.... xDDD

Name: Luna (Her name she dubbed for herself to hide her true identity... Oooo! Maybe we can do support conversations to uncover this! Muwahahah!)
Age: Um... Unknown for now.. but for quite a few years....
Race: Half-Human/Half-Dragon kin (Woot! Sophia reincarnate! Muwahahahah! I'm kidding... )
Gender: Female
Class: Shaman
History: A wandering seeress with allegiance to no one. She is thought to be the last princess of *insert country* but with her *true* self locked away from everyone, no one truly knows. Luna simply wanders to unlock the mysteries of the world unknown to her and the recent skirmishes cause by *insert bad country* seems to be stirring her spirits. Maybe she just might join in for a little observation...
--------------------

Eh.... I'll try to fix it up soon? lol...

Kotowari September 8th, 2009 10:17 AM

Great great. I'm gonna write down Raven's and Iphraim's description as well..
BTW, I added the extra personality option. o3o"

Oh, nice... A shape shifter. 83 That's nice. Although, you'll have to come up with a very good story as why she left her country in the seas down south. ;D

OK Guys, I finished Alpha 1 of the hack. :D
1.Changes made: Weapons and Items have the same number of uses. Weapons have the same stats as those of FE:RD.
2.Character's maximum stats has been changed match that of FE:RD
3.All S Ranked Weapons have 70 use. Manni Katti, Rapier, Wolf Beil, also have 70 uses.
4.All characters recieve a 5% growth boost in two stats. Mages get 10% boost in magic.

If you find a glitch, please report it via PM. If a certain character is not able to use a weapon, report it via PM like this:
Character:
Weapon Rank:
Weapon being used:

Thanks to serenesforest.net for the list of weapons and stats of FE:RD
Thanks to the creator of Nightmare, and the Nightmare Modules, for allowing me to make this hack possible

Still to come in Beta 2:
Increase the use of promotion items by 1.
Fix any glitches from Alpha 1
Make enemy units 10% stronger<---For people that want a challenge.

I've attached the IPS file. Make sure you have the program LIPS. And make sure that the ROM is renamed to the same name as the IPS file, or it will not work. And Don't rename the IPS file :O

Kotowari September 8th, 2009 1:27 PM

Oh, nice. :0
Now what's the original Rom we need for the patch? =0
And are you sure we need that LIPS patch thing? Patching isn't automatically?

Zero° September 8th, 2009 1:32 PM

FE7 is the ROM I used.
And yes, you do need LIPS. You can probably find it in the toolbox section of PC.
Once you have it, do the following:
Click on LIPS
click on apply IPS
click on your ROM
click on my IPS (Make sure both the ROM and IPS are the same name)
it should say, IPS succesful :D
play the ROM

(You will notice that Lyn has 18 Hp, instead of 16, if the IPS was succesful)

Kotowari September 10th, 2009 11:27 AM

Ah, alright. Well, I won't be downloading it now. I'd rather wait when I have a decent internetconnection fit for downloading. :3
I've been writing the character description for my characters, but they're getting long. XDD

Edit: Finished them. :3

Raven
Spoiler:
Name: Raven of Agrona
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Class: Lord
Nationality: Agrona
Features: Raven is about 1m79, a bit slender for a boy his age. His just a bit shorter than shoulder-length hair has deep blue colour, which in some circumstances might seem black. It is said that he looks like very much like his father, except for his sparkling blue eyes, which he inherited from his mother (his father had golden eyes). He wears small golden crown, which is usually covered in front by the bangs on his forehead.
The garments he wears are of exquisite quality. The blue fabric of which his tunic exists is finished with several barely visible patterns.
His pair of trousers is a soft beige and he wears dark brown boots. The cape he wears on his shoulders is soft shade of blue at both sides and it covers up the plates of armour he wears to protect his chest and shoulders. He is usually bare handed, but sometimes wears such as when being in battle.
He has a very gentle face, with a warm smile that puts people at ease very easily. But his vibrant eyes can shoot lightning when he’s really angry.
Around his neck he wears one of his mother’s most precious earrings. Not because of the materials they’re made of, but because they were given to her by her loved one. In that way, Raven says so himself, both his parents are with him on his journey.
Personality: Raven is very nice guy, easy to get acquainted with. Although slightly naive at some points, Raven knows what he wants. And if it’s something that’s kept away from him without a justified reason, he will use everything he can to persuade the other, which in his case, results in many heated discussions with his grandfather, who doesn’t seem to understand that his grandson wishes for something in the people’s advantage.
He can get very angry at the sight of injustice, but he will rarely use violence in his disputes.
When calm, Raven is very cheerful person who gets along with almost everyone (or at least tries to). But he never wishes to take the spotlight if he doesn’t need to. He’ll only use his title when needed, and usually considers his subordinates as friends of some sort. Adelaar, who’s one of his best friends and most trusted person, is –unwillingly or not- Raven’s outlet for his complaints about his grandfather and the way things go in the kingdom.
Raven cares a lot for the people he loves, his mother and even for the father he never knew. Although that man was banned for being evil, Raven would never believe that the man his mother loved so deeply, could have meant any harm to her or the kingdom.
(Short) Biography: Raven was born on a beautiful spring day as the first son of the heir to the throne, Princess Elaiyna, and Lord Raymond, a lordling of some remote province in the kingdom of Agrona whose family has since long fallen from the King’s grace but was allowed to keep their title.
Since his father was banished, Raven is now the legal heir to throne and many say that he has the potential of becoming a just and rightful king.
He was trained in the way of the sword by an older knight of in service to his mother and later practising with his friend, Adelaar . He has talent with the blade, but even after all those years, his fighting still has some rough edges.
When he became 18, Raven was appointed as city governor (somewhat like a mayor) of Krystle as preparation for his coronation. He listens to the people’s wishes, supervises several projects and declares progress directly to the King.
Additional Information:
Raven’s only weapon is the sword. He’s a decent fighter, but not a great one.

Iphraim
Spoiler:

Name: Iphraim
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Class: Wyvernlord
Nationality: Gilead
Features: Iphraim is a man of about 1m82, normally built, although, as fitting the warrior’s body, he’s quite muscular, but not excessively. His long, navy blue hair comes, when it’s loose, to the bottom of his back, but it is usually put back in a ponytail, kept together by a piece of blue ribbon.
Iphraim’s eyes are a soft blue, but his left eye is crossed by a thin, irregular scar that runs form his forehead to his chin. The bangs on his left side cover up this scar most of the time, but it is still very noticeable.
In his right ear he has a triangular-shaped golden earring, as a souvenir from his homeland.

Iphraim’s armour consists of a cjest and back plate, and shoulder plates, which gives him great mobility when fighting. His ability makes up for his lack of defences.
Beneath that armour he wears a purple tunic, finished on the edges with a double row of gold-yellow stripes. The sleeves reach just above his elbow, revealing the light-blue, woollen sweater he wears beneath it. During battle he wears pieces of armour over his brown leather gloves. He wears navy blue pants ( a lighter shade than his hair). Leather brown boots and a blue cape finish his outfit.
Beneath that outfit, however, he has several other scars that constantly remind him of what he’s been through.
Personality: At first glance Iphraim seems to be an impenetrable fortress. Being drilled by the harsh rules of the military of Gilead, he has learned to be very stoic in the presence of both his superiors and inferiors. Although in general he obeys those rules, most of the nine people that fly in his formation, know that the real Iphraim is not that like that.
Before the attack on his hometown, Iphraim was happy boy, who often found himself lost in nature. He has a thing for animals, certainly his Wyvern, Valandar, with whom he shares a very strong bond.
That happy, easy-going nature is still present in the Iphraim we know today. But the occasional outburst of anger, usually followed by a moment of depression, isn’t rare. Iphraim hates his country’s King, he hates the superiors who once ordered to invade his home island not too far from the mainland, he hates the people who took him away from his family, and he hates the person who gave him the scar, that man, however is no more.
His behaviour with his equals is rather neutral, although the shares their feelings for the odd behaviour of their King and his sudden desire to get rid of that certain Prince who seems to be a thread to the entire continent. Iphraim however, is a person who wants to comfirm things with his own eyes... and that’s why he leaves his posts as Wyvern Officer of Gilead.

As a short ending note, Iphraim is a very trustworthy person. But in return, he wants to know who it is he trusts. Despite the dark feelings about his past, Iphraim walks through life in a very happy way, occasionally throwing a very lame joke around. But as mentioned earlier, do not ignite the fuse which has become a lot shorter in 20 years, or you’ll regret it. Badly.
(Short) Biography:
As mentioned earlier, Iphraim was born on the island nation not too far of the coast of Gilead. Although belonging to the nation of Gilead on paper, the people there lived a life independent from the main land, developing their own culture. But a little more than 20 years ago, they were attacked by king Marduk’s Wyvernknights. Unable to defend against the might of the winged army, the islands were forced to surrender and were officially added to Gilead’s boundaries. Why the king suddenly decided to invade is unknown to most people.
He forced a lot of the promising young men and children to come to the mainland to be trained for military reasons. Iphraim was one of them. Being assigned a Wyvern to raise was probably the best thing that happened in Iphraim’s life. Valandar supported the boy in more ways than his partners in misfortune ever could.
Iphraim has a very close bond with his Wyvern. They can “communicate” without words, and they can understand how the other feels.
When the previous Commander of the 3rd Wyvern Squad died in suspicious circumstances, amongst some of his subordinates, Iphraim took his place. He’s got a very close bond with riders.

Additional Information:
Iphraim’s wyvern who goes by the name of Valandar, is covered in dark blue scales. His belly is a soft beige, whereas the membrane on the inner side of his wings is a deep purple.
Iphraim wields the Lance as well as the sword, though he prefers the first.
He joins the army on his own accord, leaving everything behind.

Decent/Long enough? :cer_giggle:
EDIT2: These things take 1 page of Word document each, but when posted here they're not that long. XD

I will update Adelaar soon..I promise. XD

EDIT: 2000th post. oh yesh.

Zero° September 12th, 2009 2:01 PM

A promise is a promise, don't break it. Or something else might break.

Kotowari September 13th, 2009 2:18 AM

Congrats, Blaze~:3

BTW, guys, don't be afraid to write a lot on your character's desciption. =0 The more you write, the more independant your characters become, the more "round" they become. Even details that at first seem insignificant, like small gestures they do all the time, can be hinted on. :3

Edit: 3700th post. XD

Zero° September 14th, 2009 5:01 PM

So, when are we actually gonna start the RP?~

In other news: I found some bugs on my hack; Some of the characters and bosses can't use their weapons, because I changed the rank of the weapons and I forgot to edit the character's weapon ranks. For instance, when you fight that one guy in Chapter...2 I think? Yeah, the one with the Pegasi girl, well, the boss can'e use his steel axe since it's now class C and he's class D.
Anyone that downloaded the IPS, if you can just wait till I finish fixing the glitches, then cool. But you can continue to play and PM me an glitches you find.

Good News: About my hack; I changed the WEXP for most weapons, so now you can level up your weapon levels much faster. D ranked weapons give you 2 WEXP, and so do Brave and Killer weapons. S ranked weapons give you 11 WEXP...I don't know why though XD

Kotowari September 15th, 2009 10:15 AM

NOW!

Well.....

I'm expecting EVERYONE to put their FINAL CHARACTER FORMS as soon as possible.
I'll send a note to everyone who has posted their forms here...
I'll dig some of the NPC forms up as well...
So, once that's settled, we can start.

FIRE EMBLEM : PATH OF RUIN

You still taking sign ups for the Fire Emblem RP? I have played enough games to hopefully have the correct amount of experience to perform well lol.

Lol.... You KNOW that will be easy right? I already have a start up of it on her minor profile up there.... hahaha...

Luna:

Spoiler:
-----------
Name: Luna ????
Age: ..... Unknown (Eh.... I still haven't thought of a solid age or at LEAST an estimate yet.... hehehe...)
Gender: Female
Class: Shaman/Shapeshifter: Dragon (well 3 forms to be exact ehehe)
Nationality: Far to the South... past the seas....
Features: http://cybeastsaber.deviantart.com/art/OC-Luna-117828413 (is the general appearance)
Luna's hair is a silver hue with a mixture of a very crystal blue color and the iris' of her eyes are a dark violet hue. Her bangs are short starting from the middle and as it moves away from the middle, it gets longer until it reaches her eyes, where it's at it's longest length, reaching down to her shoulders, before it starts to shorten yet again. Luna stands about 165 centimeters (equivalent to 5 feet and 4 inches) and her hair has an even amazing length of 177 centimeters (equivalent to 5 feet and 8 inches) long. She is still quite average in height as compared to other females. Her body figure is developed but no one truly knows that (since she's always covered... you know? xD).
Luna is mostly covered in a large cloak with an extended neck that covers her mouth. Her hands are fitted with intricately designed, magic wrist gloves, extending almost to her elbows, that allows her to channel magic with the absence of a magical tome. (Will explain this ability below) Her attire, which is mostly concealed behind the cloak, is an ebony one-piece dress with short sleeves that reaches short of her feet and in contrast to her ebony dress, she also sports a light weighted and flexible, silver tasset on her waist. Her boots are made together with leather and the fallen pieces of her ebony and white dragon scales thus the soles of the boots are pitch-black and the upper leather is fashioned with the white scales.
Luna also mysteriously has a pair of small wings sprouting from her backside which is a great abnormality to her kin and the people and though she may appear to be part dragonkin, she is still feared for her unusualness.

Personality:
Luna is pretty much a lone wolf since she drifted away from her homeland many many years ago somehow. Her lonely lifestyle over the many years somehow brought about an unknown mental state to Luna causing her to lose herself during certain times during the changing of the moon, though she herself is unsure of the reasons. She finds the shadows to be a nice comfort for her unstable mental state and avoid towns only to buy supplies when needed. Luna isn't very open with the general populace because her abnormal abilities as a Shapeshifter (maybe only to the less militant towns/cities) truly frightened the people. This is one of few reasons why she tends to be anti-social.

Luna's audacity is to the point where she wouldn't complain about any dangerous wounds and whatnot which results in her reckless and sometimes ignorant behaviors. Apart from that... state, Luna is very keen of everything around her and when she's tightened her focus, she can even pinpoint the location of a chirping cricket from a good length away from her. When she's happy, which rarely occurs, no one can even tell if she's happy with the serious face she always wears and she never lets up. Time to time, she does enter a tranced state and starts muttering gibberish only to forget what she has said when exited from the trance. Some say it's nothing, while others say its some sort of message but who really knows cannot be said.

(Not so Short) Biography XD:
From her younger days, Luna has walked aimlessly around the continent called Andraste which she had learned from a traveling man once. It was a land beyond her own and she had never seen it before until the time she appeared on it's shores. Upon her arrival, Luna's memory had also vanished into thin air leaving her with naught but her sanity.

She wandered around the coast of the area, which she later figured out was in the Albarhea territory, until she was picked up by a band of merchants on the road. They were surprisingly generous and gave her clothing and food during the ride and Luna was grateful for the aid. When they came upon the destinated city and learning of her amnesia and odd wings, the men turned off the road before trying to subdue her with thoughts of selling her off. Luna was caught off guard and ran from the group, but the men were persistent with the interestingly, odd female and gave chase. As the sun hid into the horizon and the dark moon rising opposite of the sun, Luna's light source had diminished and she ran with but the stars' light to guide her through the surprisingly lush forest about her. The men soon chased her into a corner where she was them and a craggy cliff. With nothing but fear and darkness about her, Luna felt helpless for she had nothing to fend off the scores men just waiting to pounce her. Tears fell from her eyes and just as she looked upon the almost invisible, dark moon before her, she felt her body get warmer. Her mind began to swirl as the warmth began to increase at an alarming speed before all she saw were the men. However, they weren't as tall as they were, but in fact, they had become smaller. Still unaware of it, Luna had transformed into a large Ebony Dragon with scales as dark as the night and violet eyes that pierced all it gazed with extreme aggression. The men faltered at the thought of provoking the monster before rushing away for they had never seen such a beast like that that walked their land before. Luna had not regained control of her body as she ran rampant through the forest blasting away any and all that came in contact with her fearsome dark breath. Luna had lost conscious and returned back to her human form not before long.

As she awoke to the sun's bright rays that danced across her face, the memories of the previous night flooded her mind before she started her lonely travels across the mysterious land. And thus she also dubbed herself, Luna.

Over the course of many years, Luna had learned to avoid the general populace of the continent's inhabitants because her appearance was much different than everyone else. She had also met a master forger in her past years who developed the magical gloves and "dragon" boots that Luna now wears and though he had departed from the world, Luna still held him in high regards. Luna traveled much in the concealment of the shadows and learned to control her use of the dragon form whenever she needed it as well as practiced in the Ancient Dark Arts. Not many knew her and she liked it that way. Though her memories had not yet fully returned to her, she can only remember a tribe of people and some of the children in it but nothing else. With no clues at all, Luna decides to visit the town's bar...

Additional Information: She is Neutral and UNRECRUITABLE!!!! Hahaha... Just Kidding... but of course. Her magical wrist gloves can tap into the magical properties of which ever tome she touches the gloves with and allows usage of those magics with the absence of the tome (like absorbing and then retaining the magic within the gloves XD) Being somewhat of a seeress due to her latent abilities as a dragonkin (or maybe something more ;) ), she can catch short glimpses of the future and sense signs of danger but these abilities are more random than of controlled. (Probably not as apparent as the "Children of Destiny's" powers if you know what I mean :D)

Luna's name is not just a name. Her powers are special as a dragonkin. It is tied to the Moon itself and alters depending on the amount of sunlight is reflected off of it.
-While the Moon has more sunlight reflected off, her dragon form will be that of a White Dragon of Light Magic with it's powers the strongest at a Full Moon.
-As the Moon becomes a Half-Moon at it's first and third cycles, Luna becomes a hybrid of her human and dragon forms but only during the Half-Moon Phases. (This much is going to be hard to imagine(even for me) so I will put a drawing link so you can see what she looks like.)
-When the Moon has begun it's decent in light reflection into the New Moon phase, she becomes an Ebony Dragon of Dark Magic.
-Only ONE of these two forms are in effect (according to the Moon's light reflection) until it reaches the Half-Moon Phase, in which it will revert to the other form after the Half-Moon form has dissipated.

Edited- FINALLY DONE.... happy? I know I am. :D

Barney. September 16th, 2009 12:14 PM

I will post mine on Friday.

That cool?

Kotowari September 16th, 2009 12:56 PM

Yes...
And Uzumaki_Naruto, that still isn't finished, right? :0 I'm not adding characters to the RP who's form hasn't been completed (yet)... Everyone gets the same treatment.

And of course, Raikiri, we have yet to start, and we're currently in the "recruiting" face. 8D Post your character and join in. :3

Legend September 17th, 2009 2:11 PM

In that case, I will definitely sign up. Currently I am establishing two characters that will more or less be connected to each other. You could imagine they would appear in the same chapter as they are allies.

EDIT: Well here they are in all their glory

Spoiler:
Name: Leonard (Leon)
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Class: Mercenary
Nationality: Agrona
Features: Some would call Leonard attractive, while others would argue that he is worn and used. Standing at 6 feet and 2 inches (About 1.88 meters), Leon is tall with a muscular but not bulky build combining raw strength with great agility. He stands with great posture conveying a sense of pride and confidence. His stride flaunts his power publicly, plowing through crowds with little regard.

Examining the details of his appearance, one would find more evidence of a rugged appearance. His hair is a dirty blonde, almost brown, with an unkempt wavy style to it. His eyes are deep almost warm blue but his distinct smirk that almost seem carved into his face gives a different impression. A deep, painful scar is the most defining attribute, beginning at his forehead and stretching down to his cheek, over his left eye. Despite this ugly remainder of his life, Leon attempts to remain attractive by remaining clean-shaven and keeping up with his daily grooming.

While his clothing remains functional, years of wear and tear give the clothes some age. He wears a tattered gray tunic that reaches down to his knees that has a high collar, that reaches his chin. Underneath, Leon added a strong yet damaged set of chain-mail with a additional white undershirt to prevent the chain-mail from directly meeting his skin. His hands are protected by worn, yet still functional leather gauntlets. His rather large steel blade is kept sheathed on his back due to leather harness that reaches over his right shoulder. Leon sports a black leather belt with gold buckle, which keep his off-white pants from embarrassingly falling in the midst of battle. His boots are a worn leather that reach his ankles and grant admirable protection.

Personality: Leonard's personality is best summarized by this: "A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. A chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). A chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random. He is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it.
Chaotic neutral is the best alignment you can be because it represents true freedom from both society's restrictions and a do-gooder's zeal." (D&D's definition of Chaotic Neutral)

Leonard is a true mercenary and is motivated by wealth more so than morality. This is not to say he lacks a strong moral code, but more than he values free will and sees life as a liberty and one must live it to the fullest. He acts on whims and fleeting desires and if anything truly interests him, Leon will invest some time and effort in it. As a result, Leon remains easy going and open to new ideas and concepts, believing that being closed minded causes corruption and ruins progress.

Leon is far from a pure soul and has his share of vices. First and foremost, he has a strong ego. Leon has the tendency to see himself as better than those around him, and his arrogance has caused numerous problems for him and his comrades, or at least those who are left. He is also unnecessary argumentative with those around them and is always itching for some action, particularly raw combat. Leon is known for being a ladies man as well, acting on his desires for lust and greed frequently if given the opportunity. Contracts he established generally bring him great wealth due to his ridiculous prices, but he is known for carrying out his duties regardless of the actions required.

Leon is a fearless individual and his illogical mentality give people the impression he is downright crazy. However, in reality he is trustworthy and reliable individual and will stand for his beliefs and comrades to the bitter end.

Biography: Leon's life is an interesting mix of pure and dark. Growing up in a house with a mother, a father, an older brother and a younger sister, Leonard was fortunate to have a standard early life. While economic strain was common for his family, it did not hinder his early development. However, he was impressionable and his brother's influence caused him to turn away from a basic education and join his brother in departing his supportive family. He and his brother so joined a traveling crew of bandits turned mercenaries that sought more legitimate forms of income. He traveled with them for several years complete numerous jobs and become well acquainted with the world earning invaluable experience that no one could place a price on. However, a chance encounter involving a morally questionable contract placed Leonard and Frederick together in a chance meeting. The two fought each other and soon realized that combat was pointless at the moment and retreated from the battlefield. They formed a new mercenary band, taking whatever work they could as long as it interested them. The band grew in size until a military operation locked them down. Leonard managed to escape and broke Frederick out of prison. Now they are on the run from the military, unsure of which country is the right one to trust.

Additional Information: Leon is neutral to practically everyone, unless he is bought by the highest bidder. He is mostly definitely recruitable due to his mercenary status, but he often requires detail and a high level of interest before being hired successfully.

He is very experienced in the art of fighting especially with swords, though he doesn't have a particular style with them (he loves his own "self taught" style) in combat. He is known for combining strength, skill and speed in a well-balanced combination, and those who saw him fight note he has great potential.

Spoiler:
Name: Frederick
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Class: Cavalier
Nationality: Albarhea
Features: Frederick has a young touch to his appearance, almost seeming virgin due to the lack of battle scars, facial impurities and other detracting factors. Standing at about 5"9 (1.75 meters), Frederick has a slim build with some tone to his frame. He consciously tries to make himself appear smaller with poor posture, and keep his eyes firmly locked to the ground.

Frederick's face is that of a child's with his big green eyes and short well groomed brown hair. Other than a few patches of dirt, he lacks battle wounds and anything making him appear to be a fighter, unlike his comrade Leon. His eyes are inviting and innocent, but also appear almost frightened. Frederick's face openly convey emotions of sadness and pain, eliminating the need for any spoken communication.

Frederick's clothing is not necessarily clothing, but more like armor. He wears a dark green set of plate mail, with a black undershirt and gray damaged chain mail for added protection. Much like Leon, Frederick sports a pair of armored gauntlets for additional protection and a better grip on his various weapons. Tan pants cover his legs with armored greaves that reach just under his knees. A dark green cloak hangs from neck and almost reaches the ground to its great length. His belt, while smaller in design than Leon's, is home to his sword's sheath for easy access.

Personality: Frederick is best described by this description: "A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them.
Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias for or against order." (D&D's definition of Neutral Good).

Frederick is a man that is good at heart and wants the best for his friends, family and the world around him. While he dreams big, he thinks lowly of himself doubting his skills and abilities. He abides the social norms, and as a result often acts as Leon's conscience in scenarios that require a level of morality. As a result of his strong moral desires, Frederick will make exceptions and break the social expectations of society, such as breaking the law for the greater good. Frederick lives by the saying: "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few".

He lives by a much stricter guidelines than Leonard and is easily placed in a level of discomfort by any immoral actions. Being shy and easily startled, Frederick hates surprises and is very careful in social environments. In many ways, he is a child in an adult's world, without the high levels of energy and carefree outlook on life. While he is more reserved, he is known for being intelligent and wise due to unique combination of education and life experience. He can adapt to situations presented to him, especially on the battlefield, but it does require him some time to make the adjustment.

Biography: Frederick was born into a noble family, as a only child to sick and dying mother and a proud, honorable father. Before he reached an age of maturity, his mother died and unable to deal with the stress his father placed Frederick in military school to complete his education. He received high marks and high honors, credited to his bloodline and high level of determination, though he attributed the success to luck. Upon graduation, Frederick was posted to protect a small rural town that was attacked only a few weeks after he was posted there. Battling a man, he grew to know as Leonard, he escaped from the battlefield and deserted the military after Leon briefly explained his motives. He later joined Leon reluctantly in his newly founded mercenary group, until its eventually destruction by a military operation. After escaping a death sentence to the crafty Leonard's daring escape, Frederick is now on the run with his only comrade.

Additional Information: Frederick is of the good alignment and as a result is recruitable by characters of the good alignment, that can get around his shyness. By using him effectively, one could also recruit Leon without paying a hefty fine.

Frederick prefers the lance over the sword, but carries both for strategic purposes. He prefers a faster, more skilled approach to combat as well as fighting on a more defensive level, to make up for his lower levels of strength. He is believed to be a warrior with some potential to his young age and adaptable personality.

And if you bless them with your amazing artistic talents, I would be grateful. I am actually curious of your interpretation of their appearances.

Zero° September 17th, 2009 5:13 PM

If I ever become an actual "good" hacker, I may turn this RP into a FE8 ROM hack.
Kotowari, I will edit my registration form sometime this weekend.

Kotowari September 17th, 2009 10:17 PM

@Raikiri: You're deffinitally in. o_o It would be a waste to leave those two on the side bench. Seriously, that was an amazing character description. I'm curious as how those two will fare in the story. :3 I'll add you right away to the Character list. ^_^
Also, I think will doodle them. :3 As I like sketching characters at 800x800 a lot. It's fun.
But do you mind telling me what haircolour Frederick has?

@PSI Claus: Oh, that'd be wonderful. =D Who knows, one day... ^_^
Alright... I hope that most people will submit their forms during the weekend, so that when the new week starts, we can actually start RolePlaying. Then I will have something to thinkg about during class.
PS: Your character is still on my to-do list. :3
I already have the idea of who I (we) will begin. In that post I will introduce Raven (duh), his grandfather, his caretaker (who's more his chambermaid. She's 3 years younger then him), our Mage Knight Jeigan (if she'll join Raven and co on his actual quest is debatable), his mother and the reason why he'll have to leave the castle.
I will leave "holes" for people who are stationed in the Castle to write their part with additional information... For those who want to play with NPC's stationed in the castle, that's fine as well...

Whereas everyone can start their character's story immediately, remember that you won't be part of the main story from the very beginning. You could always meet someone else who has yet to be recruited, or someone from the main story, I dunno... Write as it pleases you. ^_^

Legend September 17th, 2009 10:30 PM

Freddy boy's is more of a dark brown, bordering on black. I can't believe I missed that in the sign up lol.

Kotowari September 17th, 2009 10:34 PM

Alright. x3 I'm gonna coffeepasta that sentence right away. (EDIT:Oh wait... I read over it... NVM then.. XD I'm not totally awake yet, or so it seems.)
I've added the two to the Character's List, so you're basically good to go.
Though I'd suggest you wait till we have more characters. :3
Wasn't the limit of people joining before starting 5?

Legend September 17th, 2009 10:47 PM

Around 5 I think. All the Fire Emblem games I am currently playing are fairly far in, so I am not so sure.

Kotowari September 18th, 2009 12:04 PM

I wasn't refering to the actualy Fire Emblem games, more to PC's RolePlay rules...
I think someone mentioned that to me a long time ago. x3

Legend September 18th, 2009 12:22 PM

Never heard of actually rules pertaining to RP rules at least my experience on the board.

CyBeastSaber September 18th, 2009 9:56 PM

Eh.... as the post says.... STILL WORKING ON IT! lol.... Well... the day is late so I'm gonna go to sleep now... *falls over* I'll be sure to finish it..... SOON.... lol.
