How you travel to school?
Well another question about school again. Yea I know... not school again -.-
But anyways i am curious in knowing which transport you use? My parents send me to school with a car actually a 4WD (Toyota Prado). |
For most of my schooling life, I've walked to and from school on a daily basis. But that was because I lived very nearby. College is a rather long distance away from here. So now that I have a car, I drive myself there and back.
|
When I was in primary school, till secondary 1, I used the school bus. bad move as we get to go home for atleast 2 hours tops. [school ends at 4.30pm, we get to go home at 7.00pm]
now, i use the bus and the mrt station. it only takes 30 minutes. ;] |
I take the tram and walk down a hill. Occasionally I may take bus and tram. Mainly tram though.
|
I've been taking the bus every school day (give or take) for the last 5 years. Its actually really convenient, more so than most people think. Even if I miss the one I'm supposed to catch the next bus leaves 15 minutes later so I'm not late to school.
I'll still be taking the bus when I go to Uni, I probably won't buy a car till I'm 21. |
I took a bus to school everyday.
~Rene~ :t025: |
Primary school used to be near my house so I used to walk there, but now I have to take the bus to school every day~
|
i used to walk but my mom doesnt trust me anymore xD so she drives me
|
For now, I take the bus. I'm getting my M soon though (bike license) so I'll be able to ride my dad's crotch rocket to school. XD;
|
Cars, it's the most convenient way to travel.
|
I've done car and bus quite a bit, but the most notable thing would be other — private taxi.
None of my schools have ever been near enough to walk or cycle to. |
I've rode the bus to and from school for my whole life.
Now, my mom drives me to school and I ride the bus home. I need my driver's license. ._.; |
I walk to school. It is just few meters away from my house.
|
Well I used to take my car to high school, and I still technically have to drive to college, so I chose car. But I still walk to all my classes now =P
|
Used to walk it was about a 30 minute walk, now I've moved school it's about 1 hour walk so now by car but when it's in for repairs (which is quite often) I have to walk.
& lol at title error |
I walked to high school, mainly because back then only the rich kids had cars. I take a few online classes to I guess I take the internet to school now :D.
|
In primary I walked but in secondary I have to take the bus.
|
In elementary school, it was one of: getting a ride with a parent, taking the bus, and walking to school. It just depended where I lived and which school I was going to at the time (there were a lot of them xD). In high school I took the bus or got a ride with my mom. The latter happened increasingly as the years went by haha.
In uni, I walked. :B Or I did the last two terms since I was in the dorms and was about 5-10 minutes away. Next term I'll be living a little farther and there's a shuttle I'll probably make good use of considering how cold it'll be. 8D |
I know it should count as a regular bus but this was a little bus and it was considered a special bus for kids with special needs. :x
This year when I was in high school, I was too close to the school to get a ride from the regular bus. I was like 5 or 6 miles or so from school. It was too hot to walk to and from school so they put me on a special needs bus because of my disabilities. :x |
I drive there and back. It can be quite annoying if I don't get out before the buses. ):
|
I walk. I only live like 5-10mins away. ---------------- Listening to: Blur - Moroccan Peoples Revolutionary Bowls Club via FoxyTunes |
My school is nearby, but up a really steep hill; so I take the train to get there. It's one stop. xD;
Depending on the weather or how I feel, I may or may not take the train home as well. I get free transportation services from my school anyway, so it's not like it's a problem. |
My father drives and picks me up from school at designated locations no matter what. In a few days, however, I'm hoping he'll finally let me go get my permit so that I can drive to and from school (with him in the car) and in a few months (six to be exact) I'll be getting my learners license (or something like that) which allows me (in my state) to drive by myself in a car and extends my curfew an hour and a half later.
|
Basicly I walk about 15 minutes to the bus stop, get the bus to the nearest bus stop to the school, walk to school for another 15 minutes.
|
Sometimes I go by bus and sometimes I go by car.
|
I've taken the bus pretty much my whole life, and probably still will until I get my driver's license ... which is around 5 years away. I'd walk if I could, but school is about 45 minutes away even by bus.
|
I'm quite close so I cycle but until I get gloves, my mum drives me.
|
I walked in highschool.
Took a bus to college. Drove to Uni. :3 |
Bus. Bus for school, bus for University. But, for coming back home, one of my friends is driving me in his car recently.
|
:|
I always walk to school, though I doubt I'll be walking to college. |
My sister drives me, though I'm going to have to take the bus in a few years.
|
Walk, and I have the whole of my life. But my primary school was only 15 mins walk away and secondary school and college is about 25 mins.
|
Bus, and I have rode the bus for a long time, for about 8 years now... I ride the bus to school, and home...
|
I either walk since I live so close, or I'll be driven; I have to haul my bowling ball to school every Monday.
|
I used to always walk to school and from it, the last time I walked to school and back home was probably during the second semester of my Sophomore year. Because my High School is quite a distance from my home (5+ miles). ;_;
I usually take the local bus or drive a car. Usually only the bus when gas prices are high. ;3 |
Not a lot of people live in New York City?
In Elementary, I was walking, in Intermediate I took the bus, and in High I take the train to my school, which is about 7.5 miles from where I live. Also, I'll never drive because I live in New York City, which is reason enough. |
I drive to school; yellow Mazda, forgot what model. Mazda 3? It needs a wash...
I used to walk to and from school (before gaining my liscense), but that was when the walk was much shorter... |
I used to ride the bus between 7th grade and the beginning of 10th grade until I realized that I could make it home earlier if I walked home. My house was a hour long walk from high school but by the time I actually got home, the bus I ride would be barely be picking us up. :P Not only that but it would be another 30 minutes till I get to my stop. Really inconvenient as far as I'm concerned.
The other reason why I wanted to walk home instead because I'm surrounding by immature morons on my bus. They are so rude to pedestrians who walk home by pointing and laughing at them while the bus passes by them among other things. -_- Once junior year came along, it could finally get home quicker by driving from school. :) Of course, I usually wait around 10-20 minutes after school is over so it won't be as crowded as I exit the parking lot. Plus, most of the idiot drivers in my school would be gone by then who think it is cool to drive around 30+ mph in a small parking lot. -_- |
Months ago right when school restarted, I enjoyed walking to school (I was right next to the sidewalk needed to go to school, by that I mean right behind it.) in less than 5 minutes. Recently, I've been using good old gasoline reliant cars. :<
|
my mommy drives me to school
*shot* |
I'm usually driven up to the front, and when I get out I walk a few streets through all the traffic to get to my dad's car.
|
my dad used to take me lol
|
I used to walk wen I was in Elementry, but now that I'm in Midle School, I take the bus ... my bus driver is Satin ... no cell phones, AKA no prank calls to McDonalds, not to mention no doing homework on the bus ...
|
I take two buses too and from school/college. but, when i have like a big project that I dont want to carry on the bus, I get a ride to school.
|
I take the bus. Our college has campuses in town. I live on one, and all of my classes are on the other. XD; Thankfully, we have a pretty awesome bus system. I haven't been late yet due to the buses. ♥

I always take the bus to school.
|
I drive there, and then walk around fifty steps or so out of the parking lot and into the school, and vice versa.
|
I get driven to school. Then I walk back to my Auntie's house. :D
|
I've been driving myself to school the last two years, and will do so again once the spring semester starts up for college.
Before that I got rides from my older friends, and way back in middle/elementary school, my mother took me. I haven't ridden the bus since 1st grade. I love driving :3 |
In elementary school, my mom drove my brother and I to school. In high school, we both took the bus. And now that I'm in university, I walk. XD
The campus is only about a 30 minute walk from where I stay, so I don't mind it. I've taken the city bus to school from home just four times: 1) My first time there, so I'd know the way. XD 2) I slept in on the morning of a Chemistry lab. >_< 3) I was only going to one class that was short enough for me to return home with the bus transfer. ^^ 4) Big Freakin' Snowstorm + Big Freakin' Test. I would have stayed home otherwise. ;_; |
I take the school bus, and it's hell expensive >.<
|
I go via a school bus. It usually takes about 45 minutes, due to the slowness of the driver.
|
Back during my years in Elementary school, I was forced to use the bus due to my parents going to work around 5:00 (Which is early in the morning, way too early for them to drive me to school.).
When my sister got her driver's liscense, I traveled by car, which I found to be a more better way to travel to school. Nowadays, I travel by bus due to gas prices and my sister moving to college. And lately, I find the bus to be rather amusing; especially compared to how gloomy it was back when I was little. |
I walk to school, it is about 5 minutes down the road which is useful because I can come home in my free periods. =)
|
How is train/subway not a choice. In the Winter I take the bus to the train station, although it's really just a 10-15 minute walk. Then I take two trains to a stop a couple of blocks from my school and simply walk the rest of the way. The entire ordeal takes about an hour.
|
In elementary and middle school (6th, 7th) I walked to school, but when I moved here, I had to start riding the bus.
|
Used the telephone lines with the squirrels. I have a black squirrel friend named Buddy who lets me eat some of his peanuts.
In all seriousness, my mom drove me. The school is two miles away. Between my house and the school lie busy roads, steep roads, roads with no sidewalks, ghettos and areas you rather avoid on foot. I can't even imagine an easy way to get back home if I had to walk. My dad used to take the bus though (he went to my school) but I've never done public transportation alone. |
By School Van.
FILLER FILLER FILLER!! |
On most days I have to go to school by bus, train then bus and I usually get home by bus then bus.
|
I take a bus,my school's too far and confusing to get to by foot on time.
|
I always go to school in a car, especially in winter. I used to walk in the fall but now I get my bro to drop me off. =P It's pretty cold where I live. Even though my school is only like 3 blocks away, imagine walking in the cold!
|
I used to ride in a car, but now I take a bus. It's far away.. :B
|
I walk. (lol campus)
Back in high school, I had to drive/be driven to school. That's what I got for living in a rural area. At least it got me to school, as opposed to the possibility of me, you know, sticking around somewhere close-by but not going. (*grumble*) |
I just drive my car 20 miles to school every day.I used to ride the bus awhile back but the kids on the bus are quite annoying.
|
I use the school bus to get there. When I have to come back, my mom has to pick me up for sports on Mondays / Wednesdays. The otherdays, I just use the bus to come back. :>
|
I either cycle with my friends or get my parents to drive me up, depending on how late I woke up.
School buses don't exist in Ireland. |
When I was in elementary and middle school, I usually will take the bus. Sometimes my parents took me, but it was rare. When I was in high school I walked pretty much since because it wasn't that far(about 5-10 minutes distance). But when I got my license(age 17) I used my car. And college, still use my car, lol. But there were times that I have to take a taxi or take the bus because my car was out of commission for a while.
One time I did rode my bike to school. That is when I was in middle school though. |
My mom takes me and my siblings into town in her car (we live outside the city). Those days I'm working after school, I take my own car. Like tomorrow! That means I get more sleep in the morning and not so much stress, since I can decide for myself when to go ^^
I used to go by bus though. Both into town and home. Now I only go by bus home. |
By moving from the bed to the couch or desk, obviously. Yup, home school on the computer. (~' ')~ Back when I went to public I walked / was driven.
|
I take a bus to get to school
