What is the most boring thing that happened in your life?

What is the most boring thing that happened in your life? Well for me, when I was having a vacation with my friends in the mountains and it rained harder that we have to stay in a small lodging house. My friends and I spend our whole day with no communication because there was a brownout.

8th Wonder™ November 14th, 2008 8:13 AM

No wireless Interenet for about a week on vacation. And yes it was real boring.

Hawkfish November 14th, 2008 8:54 AM

When I was in a dirty doctors office for the whole day and most of the afternoon staring at cobwebs. It was REAL fun.

jasonresno November 14th, 2008 9:51 AM

I went to Arizona with my girlfriend for a mini vacation. We stuck by the pool and tanned the whole time :P.

Ruphire November 14th, 2008 10:06 AM

Doing Math homework everyday....... I want to stab my math book.

Ok, picture this: i go into a lift (i was going quite a few levels up, so i took the lift). It is literally CRAMMED with people that i wouldn't be surprised if we had exceeded the weight overload. We were literally crammed in. No, seriously. CRAMMED. Then, guess what happens? It breaks down. So we're stuck there for around 5 hours in a crammed elevator. Yay. Oh and the thing i was going to was cancelled. *Sigh*.

sitting in class listening to the teacher talk for an hour n thirty minutes...

♣Gawain♣ November 15th, 2008 12:53 AM

In home doing nothing all day but wait and slack. It's definitely boring per se.

wobbadude1 November 15th, 2008 5:18 AM

There are many classes/college lectures I have been to that have just put me to sleep! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!

Virtual Chatot November 15th, 2008 5:43 AM

The plane trip for America to Australia, the plane trip from Australia to England, and then the trip from England to America.

It was the worst time in my life, namely because my iPod died halfway though.

Confuse November 15th, 2008 9:38 AM

Goin' to Disney World. No joke. It rained most of the time, so I could only ride Space Mountain, while the other mountains had to be closed.

Too kiddie there for my taste anyway.

Gummy November 15th, 2008 10:27 AM

This summer when my internet didn't work for three weeks and I had no access to PC! I thought I was literally going to die from the boredom.

Aurafire November 15th, 2008 10:27 AM

Ugh...I don't know if I could pick just one boing moment. Probably taking the SATs for a second time. That test is absolutely horrible...and you need to concentrate for like five hours, which is touch for me =P

viridian doubletongue November 15th, 2008 3:40 PM

It's funny how the uneventful times are the most memorable. (they're really not at all)

Probably just stuck in with no one to talk to and nothing to do.

These past 3 days where I have had a crap-load of homework due to missing two days of school. I just couldn't take it. I pulled through and got all my work turned it eventually though.

Azzurra November 16th, 2008 3:54 AM

Probably when I was about 15 or 16 years of age, and I had to "concentrate" more on schoolwork.
I probably didn't get on the computer for about 3 months at a time.

Just the other week for me!

It was the day I spent an unexpected 16 hours at the hospital. :] My doctor told me to check into the emergency room and to have them page her so she could come take a look at me because the pain from my surgery the week before wasn't improving like it should have. Neither of us thought it was anything serious but after 7 hours of waiting in a hot/stuffy and smelly (at times) waiting room, I finally learnt I was going to need another surgery. So I was put on the emergency list but I still had to wait until 10 PM to get into the OR. Overall it was basically me sitting around from 10:30 AM to 10 PM with no iPod (it pretty much died on the way TO the hopsital) and the only source of entertainment was the news--which was pretty boring that day. It was just looping "OBAMA IS PRESIDENT-ELECT" for 12 hours straight. <_< I also couldn't read or anything because it was too uncomfortable what with the needle (and then IV) stuck in my arm. So while it was kind of eventful in the sense that, you know, the day ended with ~surprise surgery~ it was also just boring as hell. Waiting rooms suck.

It was the first time I've ever been literally bored to tears. :(

Idiot! November 18th, 2008 2:17 AM

Listening to my friends talking about Bleach in a failed attempt to get me interested in the anime. But the anime itself is rather boring, what more the one-sided conversation. In the end, I did pick up a bottle of bleaching agent and read the label to pass the time. I made this conclusion: the anime Bleach is much more boring than its real world counterpart. That is my opinion. You can always ignore it if you want.

Accedentally locking myself out of my house.
Don't ask how >_<
It was one of those doors with the weird locks on the doorknob, and somehow I locked it and closed the door.
I had to wait four hours for my mom to get home and unlock the door.

BeachBoy November 20th, 2008 3:22 AM

The other week on Shoddy Battle, I had a stall war that took two to three hours. Battles are not meant to last THAT long people. ~_< It was horribly boring. ):

.Ozymandias November 20th, 2008 5:50 AM

Doing a four-hour Law lecture with a teacher who spoke in a monotone voice. One of my classmates actually fell asleep and hit her head on the desk... And we did this every week ><!!!

GFA November 20th, 2008 7:23 PM

Math homework, my teacher gave me permission to burn my algebra book, if I pay the $26 dollar fee

I was instantly reminded of the time when my father had to get a tooth fixed at the dentist, and my parents dragged me along with the promise of dinner when everything was done. We were stuck in the dentist's office for six hours. Fortunately, I had a book with me, so it wasn't horrible, but I couldn't read my book that much because I was almost done with it.

But the most boring time in my life was when I was in the hospital. I went there at seven in the morning and did not get out of there until eleven at night. I had nothing to do for eight hours of that time, because the hospital staff took away my backpack which had a few books and a notebook in it, and they put me in a small four-by-four room with no television. No one talked to me for that entire time until my parents showed up.

That was the worst time, because as I said, no book to read.

SLEEP!!!

Haha I'm sorry. But as a college student and a guy who's been working pretty much continually since being legal to do so...sleep has become something I cherish. As a kid you never think "Ohhh I can't wait to get 9 hours of sleep" but man...it gets me excited when I can say that nowadays.
