Mightyena

Raichu

Walrein

Ice demon August 26th, 2004 9:15 PM

Well give us what u have/want and we will then be able to help u.........
not much more that i can say.
PS post items + personalities + EVs

sadly Raichu aint no UU........

Frostweaver August 26th, 2004 9:33 PM

Raichu is UU, maybe at most BL in 202. And the thread is asking for suggested movesets, not a team.

However, I personally dislike doing movesets and other time consuming things when my TV show is going to be on in 3 minutes =)

Roar/Protect
Poison Fang
Shadow Ball
Howl

Walrien (since when is he UU?)@Chesto Berry
Surf
Ice Beam
HP Psychic
Rest

Raichu (UU? You mean OU))@Brightpowder
Thunder Wave
Attract
Focus Punch
HP Ghost

Frostweaver August 27th, 2004 6:38 AM

Walrein is UU because of a lack of good stats dedicated to one thing. In RS it's better to have stats accelerating in one area than round offs like what Kingdra and Walrein have. In 202 it's still relatively weak compare to Kingdra even though it can mix sweep a bit, but it can't mix sweep well enough to be used.

Raichu in 202 is BL at most I'll be guessing, as it lacks movepool (doesn't have 2nd elemental attack without HP unlike Manectric having Crunch) and is relatively weak compare to Manectric who got higher sp.atk and speed. Raichu's only selling point is annoyer with the possibility to physical a bit.

I don't think why I need to explain these two in 386 why they're UU...

Dude, Surf? I though all Raichu's have Surf to cover ground. Well, this is my suggestion anyways.

[email protected] Powder (I guess this is good)
Charm
Surf
HP Ice
Thunderbolt

Frostweaver August 27th, 2004 11:07 AM

202 can't get surf because it requires Gamecube help, and that'll make it in 386 already.

Ice demon August 27th, 2004 11:35 AM

For Walrien i like
Walrein[modest]@leftovers
EVs - hp, att, SpAtt
yawn/encore/rest
earthquake
surf/toxic/sheer cold/rock slide
ice beam

or u can go with

Walrin[adamant]
EVs - Att, SpAtt, Def
rock slide
curse
rest/ice beam
earthquake

Raichu[timid]
EVs - Sp, SpAtt
sweet kiss
encore/attract/substitute
thunderbolt
thunderwave

or for the weirdest

Raichu[timid]
EVs - Sp, SpAtt, Att
focus punch
thunderwave/substitute/encore/sweet kiss
thunderbolt
thunderwave/substitute/encore/sweet kiss

IMO encore is a must have with this one
encore there CM etc and then focus punch away.......
an unusual [not effective] Skarmbliss counter.

Mightyena[adamant]
EVs - Sp, Att
shadow ball
yawn/toxic
HP fighting
return.......

not to sure if they are all legal.............................

Satan'sLittleHelper August 27th, 2004 11:42 AM

I really don't know what is UU in RS cause I havn't net-battled since GSC days. I just assumed walrein was underused because there's better water types, and raichu...well, I don't know. I always forget how popular that stupid pikachu thing is.

I'm mostly interested in Mightyena. I think its the coolest looking pokemon in the game (next to houndoom), its quite sad that it sucks so much. I just want to use one so am trying to make an all UU team...

When I have a team, THEN I'll post natures, EVs, etc...

But right now I just want an idea of what other people use for them.

Ok forget walrein and raichu. Just gimme some mightyena sets & strategies, friends, enemies, please please please.

Hey frostweaver, you should make a battledex for underused, crappy pokemon :D ;)

hard enough with OUs to dig out every single possible strategy/moveset I've seen with them and so on... not even going to try that >_>; Plus the fun of UU is that nobody knows what the heck do they have and what can they learn, so making a battledex for UUs will kill part of their strength =)

Like for example...

Who remembers that Kabutops can use flail with an attack power of 360+?

Ice demon August 27th, 2004 12:08 PM

kaputops can learn flail XO
u don't say........
with that attack

hey someone say something bout my raichu XP
not too sure if its legal though.
