Microsoft Genuine
To start this, after I arrived home from school, I opened my computer and suddenly, this Microsoft Genuine popped-up saying my computer might be -forgot what it said-...
http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa154/destinedjagold/eh.png What do I need to do? I remembered my dad's computer had this problem once and after a few days his computer isn't working anymore... |
it means your copy of windows XP is a fake/pirated copy and you can either buy a legit copy or find another way to get rid of that message(and I won't be mentioning how to do that)
|
so I guess I've been scammed, huh?
*sigh* |
yep, if you still have the installation disc, I think clicking that button that appears takes you to a page and one of the links say you can send the disc in to get a legit copy for free or something, I forget

If this is a legitimate copy, you bought with the computer, and the computer was bought from a major manufacturer, call Microsoft ASAP and they can help you.
If an "friend" put it on, your out of luck. Sorry. |
