Just Another stupid RMT <_<
http://www.legendarypokemon.net/images/dp_artwork/376.png
Chamuel (Metagross) @ Lum Berry Ability: Clear Body EVs: 240 HP / 80 Atk / 188 SpD Nature: Adament Moveset: ~Pursuit/EQ ~Meteor Mash ~Bullet Punch ~Explosion/Ice Punch Anti-Suicide Lead to be quite honest. This thing works well, but doesn't last too long. The EV spread I'm thinking of toying with, as it's made to oppose Gengar and Deoxys-E which aren't threats as much these days any more. Meteor Mash is great STAB quite necessary. He resists Suicide leads, and will almost always KO them, with Mash followed by STAB bullet punch to finish the job. http://faqsmedia.ign.com/faqs/image/ani227.gif Lailah (Skarmory) @ Shed Shell Ability: Keen Eye EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 Sp. Def Nature: Impish Moveset: ~Drill Peck ~Roost ~Roar ~SR Skarm is awesome, does really well against opposing Scizors and non-Tpunch Metagrosses. I chose Drill Peck over Brave Bird, as Recoil sucks in opposing stall wars if I ever end up in one. Roar for the obvious PHazing, and SR is for fliers, other wise I would ahve opted for Spikes. http://www.legendarypokemon.net/images/dp_artwork/94.png Micah (Gengar) @ Choice Scarf Ability: Levitate EVs: 252 Sp.Att / 252. Spd / 4 HP Nature: Timid Moveset: Thunderbolt ~HP Ice/Psychic ~Shadow Ball ~Focus Blast ScarfGar is just.... to sexy to not have a chance to shine. He offers a good check towards Gyara, being able to come in on even 2DD's and OHKO with Tbolt. Stops most Life Orb Adament carios by smashing them down with focus blast. I'm considering Psychic for the OHKO on MixApe and Brelooms, which might pose a threat to the team. http://es.geocities.com/dj_loky2002/242blissey.gif Michael (Blissey) @ Leftovers Ability: Natural Cure EVs: 252 Def / 40 Sp. Att / 80 HP / 136 Sp. Def Nature: Calm Moveset: ~Ice Beam ~Twave ~Seismic Toss ~Softboiled SkarmBliss the ever hated combo, I'm gonna try it. Never really ran it, so I figured what the hay, lets give it a quick shot shall we? I like that EV set. Not much to Say really. http://www.legendarypokemon.net/images/dp_artwork/51.png Nisroc (Dugtrio) @ Choice Band Ability: Arena Trap EVs: 252 Att / 252 Speed / 4 HP Nature: Adament Moveset: ~EQ ~Stone Edge ~Sucker Punch ~Aerial Ace I love duggy, GREAT guy. Goes great with Shed Shell Skarmory, who gets away from trapping things like Magnezone who would other wise trap and OHKO with Tbolt. Sucker Punch is for things like Zam who would other wise outspeed me, where as EQ is for STAB and AA is for coverage. http://www.legendarypokemon.net/images/dp_artwork/485.png Heratic (Heatran) @ Life Orb Ability: Flash Fire EVs: 160 Spd / 252 Sp. Att / 96 HP Nature: Mild Moveset: ~Explosion ~Dragon Pulse ~Fire Blast ~Earth Power This Heatran is nice I think, Explosion for the likes of blisseys and such. He makes a nice check towards scizors Bullet Punch or the likes. The given EV set allows him to outspeed Zones and Scizors, OHKO'ing both with Fire blast or EP for Zone. Mild for that extra power on Explosion. Meh, Idk, I'm working ona good team, just let me know what you think. |
When Gengar gets Pursuit trapped, you are MixApe weak. Adamant Dugtrio fails to outpace, so Jolify that thing (change it to Jolly) so you can at least permanently revenge it.
I dunno why you have a female character named Michael. lol that seemed to amuse me the most there. |
This lacks hatred ...
Anyway SD Bullet Lucario smashes you to bits. I would shove a scarf on Heatran so you can revenge kill it. Yeah and make Duggy jolly so you can revenge +1 Jolly DD Tar and + speed Apes etc. I have also kinda gone off Scarf gar as its just a free switch in for Scizor ._., but meh... Something interesting is useing an offensive suicune (CM/HP Electric/Surf/ice Beam @LO or Expert Belt) >> it and with duggy removing blissey this could open up a sweep for cune. Cune also lures in bulky waters thus letting you destroy them and then letting scarf tran sweep. It also helps with the Gyara problem too =p. >=] Something to consider... |
I'm on shoddy I'll give that a try.
Whats the EV spread on that? |

Thanks for the idea :) |
I would consider this spread over your metagross lead:
[email protected] Berry 252 hp/252 atk/6 Def Adamant - Stealth Rock - Bullet Punch - Meteor Mash - Thunderpunch/Ice punch This thing can usually (almost always) survive any kind of earthquake, and flamethrower from Azelf. Meteor Mash kills Tyranitar, and Bullet Punch takes out Gengar. Thunder punch is if you hate Gyarados or Ice Punch for dragons. I really loved using this set. |
It's a good idea for the set, but I'm liking my current set a bit, it's helped a lot, however, he's walled to easily.
I'll test the set you gave me some on shoddy and see how it helps. |
132 HP/ 252 Atk/ 124 Spd
Proven contrary to popular belief, Dugtrio does quite well with bulk, surviving Ice Beams and Lucario's Extremespeed iirc. Outspeeds + Spd Lucario. It has no need for Max Spd with Adamant, nothing significant is in that speed zone anyway: Scyther, Rapidash, Kadabra, Electabuzz, Manetric, Lopunny being examples, which Dugtrio ties with them at Max Spd and aren't at all common in OU. |
Does said speed with jolly outspeed Ape, who is a big threat to my team?
|
Max Jolly does outspeed Ape for what it's worth. Viable choice if you conform to the old "revenge killing = countering" philosophy.
|
I dont' even think it's a counter.
but the Revenge is nice, I'd claim Suicune to be a counter, if nto for NP GK OHKO'ing offensive set. If the bulky set can resist a GK I'll try it out. |
On heatran, you want hp ice>> dragon pulse for them dragons. How to get it without getting one of those annoying "invalid IV comboes"? Give Heatran 20 Atk IVS for HP Ice 68. Still does a lot.
|
Something I've noticed is
Swamparts, Cresselias do a lot to my team. I also would like some fighting support. Ideas? |
