Good moveset for Ursaring and Slowbro, anyone?.
I not to used to this pair of pokemon, i only used Slowbro in old days of Blue/Red/Yellow and never used Ursaring (but i ve seen some ursaring in action-sweep), so, i wanna try these pokemons, i want a good moveset pool for them and also the better way you consider to give EV's to them, also it's ítem, you know, the classic stuff.
Thanks in advance :rambo: . |
well Im not keen up on rs and the such but I'll give it a try..
[email protected] 252 hp, 252 def, 6 sp attk modest calm mind psychic surf twave/ice beam -heh nothing special, calm mind up and sweep, already high def prevents him from taking to much dmg from anything. twave if youre bothered by low speed, ice beam if yer not. [email protected] Berry 252 Att, 129 Def, 129 Sp Def adamant Return Earthquake/Rest Brick Break Rock Slide/HP Rock/Bulk Up You can go all out offense or let Urasring Bulk Up some to have even stronger power. |
Ooo... Finglonger is posting in PC! ;p
Slowbro- [sp.atk + / atk -] @ leftovers/chesto EV: hp, sp.atk, def -calm mind -rest -2 special attack here Rather simple... calm mind up, and chesto rest, then start sweeping. Ursaring- [atk + / sp.atk -] @ quick claw/leftovers EV: hp, atk, def -facade -swords dance/bulk up -earthquake -HP Ghost I personally like swords dance but if you want some minor physical tanking ability, take bulk up. I personally like the guts/facade abuse more, and it's not that hard to get twaved. Any sign of Blissey or Miltank coming out is a very good chance of getting hit toxic or thunderwave, making your life easy ;p HP Ghost to hit Gengar and Dusclops, and earthquake is just standard. |
Yeah, i like the bulk up Ursaring, it seems like a killing machine after two bulks.....thanks for the help!.
|
Well IMO sword dancing bears are much better than bulk up ones
i like Ursaring[jolly] EVs - Sp, Att, Def HP ghost/rockslide earthquake return/facade sword dance... or u can yawn punch if u want Slowbro.......take CM, rest, flamethrower, surf/psychic |
Or you can go for a choice band sweeping ring, no?

but CB has helped me alot of times ^_^ specially on my snorlax XP |
Well, Frustration's not gonna beat the crap out of your average Skarm anyways, so you'd be switching either way, methinks.
|
but if you're banded, Rock slide or brick break will get your average Skarm.
|
Cool movesets, thanks to all, Ursaring it's very variable, the only way to know it's TO TRY BOTH...what both?, well...
[email protected] Berry 252 Att, 129 Def, 129 Sp Def adamant Return Earthquake/Rest Brick Break Bulk Up and.. Ursaring- [atk + / sp.atk -] @ quick claw/leftovers EV: hp, atk, def -facade -swords dance -HP Ghost -Earthquake I don't know if i have to try the choice band, sonds like a nice idea to me... EDIT: Sorry for the mistake, it was choice band but i write focus band. |
No, Not Focus Band, Choice band.
Frosty: prolly would, I've seen some pretty good sweeps on choice band UU pokes, and Ursaring really doesn't have much outside of its attack. The only catch is you'd have to be using BB or RS the moment you come in, so that'd be like predicting :p |
Tis true CB with a good attack like Ursarings will most likely KO skarmory
I've seen it.......... but as mana said the predicting is really the problem... |
Meh. Predicting is part of the metagame. You know that it's satisfying when you send out your banded Ninjask (Banded Ninjask belongs to me and me only! Hands off!) against Alakazam, and your opponent sends out Aerodactyl waiting for Silver Wind, and wham for HP Rock =)
|
Yeah, my mistake sorry, i mean choice band!! XD

let me guess for mewtwo/mew also ^_^ heard bout it..........supposed to work really well. Nice suprise to an opponent when he tries to haze u thinking that u are going to pass........... HP rock?? Well thats before the advent of rocksliding Aero i suppose?? |
