New to this, First proper team.

This is my first team post here...Just started building them, Thanks to everyone who helped me with sets and such.

Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Jolly
252Atk/252Spe/6HP

The idea of this set is to quickly set up stealth rock, but also faint a few in its own right. The focus sash will make sure this will happen.

-Ice Shard
-Brick Break
-Night Slash

Ah, my Weavile...In there to scare the likes of Azelf and Alakazam into switching and with CB/Pursuit it should OHKO them.

Timid
252SpAtk/252Spe/6HP
-Thunderbolt
-HP Ice

Aero : -

Sandstorm sucks use Taunt >> it. Wastes a slot just for one poke ._.

Magmortar : -

Oh and scarf that magmotar so you can revenge kill stuff (see Gyarados weak) and use timid.

Jolteon: -

Id put a Zapdos >> Jolteon, this helps with Lucario which nothing on your team can handle Swords dance / Close Combat / Extremespeed / <W/E> 6-O'S this team

[email protected] / Expert Belt / Life Orb
80 HP / 252 SP.ATT / 176 SPEED
Timid
- Thunderbolt
- Hp Grass or Ice
- Heatwave
- Roost

You could swap hp evs with sp.att for more bulk too.

Id also put a Rest talk Machamp >> Cacturne since it doesnt do much and because nothing on this team can take CB Stone Edges or crunches from tyranitar and nothing can take status either. Then you wont need SS for cacturne.

[email protected]
108 HP /144 ATT / 252 DEF
Adamant Nature
Trait : Guts (with CC) and (No Guard with D-Punch)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Ice Punch / Stone Edge / Payback
- Cross Chop / DynamicPunch

Just to recap the changes

Aero
Rest talk Machamp
Zappy
DD Feraligatr
Scarf Magmortar
CB Weavile

Something like that ?

Cheers D_A, I'll definately use that machamp set,

I will eventually add the Zapdos set also if I can get hold of a Zapdos.

You can use that Feraligatr if you want, but it's outclassed by the faster, stronger Gyarados (who also uses the Gatr as setup fodder with Intimidate).

Gyarados @ Life Orb
252 ATK/4 DEF/252 SPD
Dragon Dance
Ice Fang
Stone Edge
Waterfall

Here's the standard.

Well he could use that but then he would be stacking on that nasty Stealth Rock weak, which is the reason i avoided mentioning Dos >.<

Fire Blast is a better option on Magmortar than Flamethrower if you're willing to take the risk. That way it becomes a real wall killer, scoring OHKOs on a hell of a lot more than if it had Flamethrower. It still gets walled by Swampert though. >_>

The rest looks fine. Perhaps just go for 252 Speed EVs on Feraligatr to get that max speed? That could be why it gets outsped so much.

Yeah, I've been thinking about this recently 'cause -Kairyu VM'd me to tell me that DD Gyarados was better...But then I thought of my SR weak..

But I think I will use a DDos instead and see how it works out, if it is really bad with SR weak then I'll change back.

Also I think I'll chose EQ over SE.

God I hate Fire Blast, I have awful luck with it, lissed like 5 times in a row once when my entei had it on colleseum..I prefer the acc.

I usually go for the weaker, more accurate attacks, although Fire Blast is probably better in this case. It still has 85% accuracy, so it's not too bad. Especially if you're running Timid (Which I have nothing against...), you will really need the extra power. Magmortar is good, but with a Scarf, it's still a bare 349 SAtk. I am concerned with the over-use of Choice Items. It would be perfectly viable to put a Life Orb on both Weavile and Jolteon.

Meh I got rid of Magmortar now, gone with a supporting Tentacruel to get rid of SR.

And I gave a Life orb to Weavile.

Bad decision imo, since scarf Magmortar was like the one thing preventing a Gyarados sweep.

At the very least you should scarf that Jolteon so you can revenge stuff and use modest with that.

keep CB on weavile too since 2 choice users arnt a burden.

In general i really dont think tentacruel fits in this team as it goes against offensive strategy letting your opponent get back their footing.
