I know this is off topic, but I'm EV training my Pikachu and Hitmonlee. Which stats do I choose to raise? Oh yeah, this is for Firered.

Nothing really special for Pikachu. Since you are saying Pikachu, then it would have to be Light Ball version since it would otherwise be better to evolve if it isn't. So, since Pikachu is incredibly fragile, just use 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe.

Same goes for Hitmonlee: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe.

Don't do anything other than those stats, they are just sweepers so it is a waste of EVs to EV in SpD and else since they are both very fragile.

Edit:

So what actually will I EV train it? Def? Attack? And what again is the best hold item for it?
Are you going for a sweeping set? Or defensive?

I've been wondering about that… how in the world do you keep your Pokémon's stat so low when you level it up? :O

Pikachu's nature is Mild and Hitmonlee's Serious.

wolf May 18th, 2009 6:46 PM

Mild is okay, since it is already fragile to begin with. But, a Speed boosting nature is preferred. Make sure your HP is not divisible by 4, then it can set up 4 Subs if it isn't divisible by 4. Adamant / Jolly is good for Hitmonlee, Serious doesn't do any boosts or drops. =\

Oh, I just want to tell you that I caught these in the wild, and not bred. :P I still think it's impossible. xO

I have a lot of defensive on my team, I rather train him for offense.

Pikachu still has a decent nature, raises SpA, but lowers Def.

Just use 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe instead. I suggest Swords Dance set:

Leafeon @ Life Orb
Ability: Leaf Guard
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
- Swords Dance
- Leaf Blade
- Return
- X-Scissor / Quick Attack / Synthesis

Only things that resist Grass + Normal + Bug, is 2HKOed by Leaf Blade, and Wormadam-S is barely seen. Quick Attack can be used for Scarf variants, taking even 70% from fragile stuff. Synthesis can be used for healing LO recoil, but is really a wasted slot imo. The only benefits of using Adamant>>Jolly, is that you make a 2HKO on Steelix then a 3HKO. Although, now Sharpedo can now outspeed with Ice Beam, Primeape can outpace and hit with Ice Punch, Jynx can outspeed with Ice Beam, Rotom / Toxicroak can be faster, and Arcanine can outrun now. =\

Thanks, and I can now finally use X-Scissor and Swords dance... The problem is I've used my Return on Regigigas replacing it's Giga Impact(I've regretted it, darn). I could use Quick Attack in replacement. And mine's Impish, not Jolly.

Watch yourselves guys, you're veering off topic, I personally don't want a call from one of the mods to warn us AGAIN!

Use the chat if you wish to talk about things like this, as you should know, WOLFLARE.

Thank you.

How is it veering off the topic if we are talking about a topic about his Wolf Pokemon's moveset? The club is meant to talk about anything and everything about Wolf Pokemon. =\

Yeah, just use Quick Attack>>Return. Impish is fine, at least it doesn't do something like Modest. But, the nature is benefiting you any on sweeping.

dragpyre May 19th, 2009 10:04 AM

Regigigas is not a Wolf, and neither is Pikachu. Hitmonlee is not also.

Unless i'm missing something in the rules in the WH?

Ayselipera May 19th, 2009 10:09 AM

How is Zigzagoon a wolf pokemon?
Isn't it based on a racoon?

The Wave May 19th, 2009 10:13 AM

Zigzagoon is based on a dog-racoon.

We weren't discussing Regigigas at all, he just included in his post saying he used Return on his Regigigas so he can't use Return also on Leafeon. Lol, so you are going to report the WH for having one post about Pikachu and Hitmonlee, which we weren't discussing at all, just asked a simple question. ._. Seriously, quit being a noob, it is only one single post, it isn't like it is a page long now is it? Isn't your post spam because it isn't about wolves? I AM GOING TO REPORT YOUR POST. >_>

Charizard. OMG I AM GOING TO GET REPORTED NOW.

It is based on a raccoon dog, which is part of the Canidae family. Look it up before answering. ._. Please join before posting please. >_> Might have to make a rule on that, but Chaos is to lazy to get on his computer and just copy and paste the new CSS. Ugh...

You know, WH is really inactive now. =\ Oh well...

dragpyre May 19th, 2009 10:58 AM

Well, I'm sorry, I just don't want us to get in trouble again.

I mis-interpreted the post.

Ayselipera May 19th, 2009 11:02 AM

Oh I see, thanks for clearing that up.

BHwolfgang May 19th, 2009 6:02 PM

We just have a lot of inactive members, such as Rafey, King (where is he?!), Chaos, etc…

I still have to say that you were overreacting a bit, Flare. He/She is speaking the truth, Hitmonless and Pikachu is definitely not a Wolf Pokémon, and I apologize for that.

Eh, yeah, I wasn't in a good mood at the time. I was kind of mad at my connection. XP

I've included my Regigigas 'cause I've used(and wasted) my Return on him. It's just a inclusion, not as if we are talking about 'em.

Yeah, you've missed a lot. >.>

Hearing about Hitmonlee . I think this set Work well with it in FR, it works like Curselax and Cursepert:

Hitmonlee @ Leftovers
Nature : Adamant
Ability: Limber
EVs: 200 Atk / 52 HP / 252 SpD
Moves:
-Bulk Up
-Brick Break
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide

While having a good HP EV and Max SpD EV . Lee can Boost up its Atk and Def to make it a Bulky Pokemon. though it wont be a fast pokemon , but it can handle such Hits after Some Bulk Ups

and for not to be Off Topic . heres a Topic:

Which move do you think is the Signature move of Wolves?

Crunch , most of the Wolves Pokemon Learns Crunch

The Wave May 20th, 2009 4:09 AM

Rafey is in Paris this week. IIRC Chaos can only use his PSP to go here, which is slow. I wouldn't go here often too if I only could use my PSP. But he isn't THAT inactive, he's regularly here. I don't know where King is, though.

Any Fangs based Attack.

Sorry for the Inactivity guys xD
