Think my first ever was Red..(or maybe it was Yellow?)Good times, good times...
For mai DS... even though Pokemon Ranger was my first ever DS game I got, I decided not to play it and exchanged for FireRed, it wasn't until after a few months after I finished FireRed, Sapphire, and Mystery Dungeon, did I buy Pokemon Ranger back...xD, bit ironic..in a way...xD |
Red/Blue on an emulator, Yellow was my first legit game. :D
oh oh !
my first game i every played was sapphire. 8 DDD lol. good memories > D |
My first pokemon game was pokemon emerald; That was the time when I got my first gba SP.
First game I played was Pokemon Sapphire actually.. I wish I never got rid of it now. XD
The first game I ever played was Stadium 2, but since that's not on the list, I went with Ruby, the first game I ever owned.
I only had Pokemon Blue as my first and my friend in my street gave me Pokemon Gold but the save didn't work. xD
Pokemon Blue on my Game Boy Pocket..a year later I got a Game Boy Color with Pokemon Yellow, then Silver in Japanese and THEN GOLD! (I love Gold *-*) and then 5 years later, Pokemon Ruby for my Game Boy Advanced then SP. After that got Pokemon Emerald, but my 9 year old Cousin started cloning red candies and leveled most of my pokemon to lvl 100 without training EV's
haha |
I got Blue and a GameBoy Colour for Christmas the year they came out. My cousin traded me a Meowth and a Bellsprout, and I chose Charmander for my starter. By the time I got to the Elite Four, I had Persian, Charizard, Victreebel, Lapras, Raichu and Alakazam, all around level 80 (I was really hot on training up). The team got changed when I caught Mewtwo and my friend cloned her Mew, then it was Persian, Charizard, Victreebel, Lapras, Mew and Mewtwo.
I've still got them all saved on my Blue game! |
Pokémon Red. I got it from some guy who had a crush on me, knew I loved Pokémon, and tried to impress me. It didn't work, but, hey, I got a free game. XP
My first game was Red, which I got as a present from my aunt on my eighth birthday. I absolutely failed at Pokemon back then, and only trained my Charizard. :D Good times.
My first game was silver, back then I was seven and I only watched the anime, I didn't even knew there were games about Pokemon, heck I didn't even know what a video game was, then my cousin gave me this game and I grew obsessed
My first Pokemon Game was a Pokemon Yellow that someone let me have for while. Ah, when I thought Pikachu was the toughest.....I could get all the starters easily.......gitches galore.....Pokemon was so simple back in 1st Gen.....
my first game was sapphire. i came across it by chance whilst looking for a game to take up hellvellen so i wouldn't be bored when my parents were diving[ i wasn't qualified then so couldn't go with them]. i have been hooked ever since.
It was pokemon red with the old gameboy color. Way back in the day when pokemon had just been made and there was only 151 pokes.
Pokemon Yellow for me. :'D
I'm a real huge fan of Pikachu and I always loved that game so much. <3 |
pokemon red all the way. i was like 8 years olds too. 12 years later, im still playing it. hahahhahahahha
Blue, a long long time ago :3
( like, I was the first kid in my town to get it, because my and my mom and just watched them open the crate to put them into the display case DX ) |
Me and my brother got Red and Blue, respectively, on the day it was released. However, not too far after playing into Red, I wanted Blue instead, so we switched versions.
I got Red for christmas on the year it came out. I've played ever since.
Mine was pokemon yellow.. i think i got it when i was 5, but yeah i played the heck out of it, of course the second generation of poekmon games is what got me hooked, i didn't like Yellow that much in the end :]
oh my god this thread just totally gave me a flashback...
I got pokemon Red and Blue. This was when I was 4 back in 2001 (11 now) I got it with my GameBoy Pocket. Gold and Silver were already out then, but I had no idea what the hell was going on. I didnt really even care if new ones were coming out. Then I found out there was 2 other newer ones with over 100+ new pokemon. I shizzed my pants, then I ran to my moms room and I begged her to get it for me. She wouldnt though. Then, my babysitter got me gold from a pawn shop for $3.50. I was really happy. A couple weeks before, i got yellow. And a week after i got gold, i got silver. Then my friend found a Ruby cartridge abandoned on the beach when we went for a school field trip. He was so lucky, I went over to his house and we played it ALLLLL day. Now everyone who sees someone who plays pokemon they call them "Stupid lame ass f*gs" So no one knows I play pokemon except for me :). My little secret. |
Red and blue, i got htem and a GBC for christmas (1999)
mine was blue but personally I didnt really like it I mean I did like blastoise
Pokemon Red way back in 98'. My mom bought it for me when it first came out.
Hmm. I believe my first was Crystal back in who knows when. I think I got Blue a few months after it. I played the heck outta that game!
I got Gold Version along with a GBA for Christmas in about 2001/2002 and so that was the first Pokemon game I ever played.
Just like most people, I got stuck at Sudowoodo and didn't even know that Azalea Town existed. *facepalm* I used a guide I found in an issue of K-Zone to help me out. |
sapphire my friend had it and have been playing Pokemon ever since
Pokemon Blue! It was the very first Pokemon game I got to play. I didn't own it at the time, but now I do.
My friend had gotten it, and he let me play a little bit. |
i voted silver/gold... however i did play on a friends pokemon yellow before hand =O thats what made me want my own game and gameboy etc ^_^
P.s he had a hot sister |
First pokemon game i played was my red version, i think i still have it somewhere x_x
Pokémon Yellow Version, ahhh the nostalgia!
Those were the good ol' days. |
For my 5th birthday (lol...) my parents bought me Pokemon Gold and a Yellow Gameboy Color. Ever since, I've loved Pokemon and the GSC generation will always be special for me. The Gold version may have corrupted, but I still have the gameboy color :).
Pokemon Blue. Ah the good old days. Back when there was a reasonable amount of pokemon to catch.
Blue, back in '98. And that's still all I play.
For me, it was Red. Ten years ago. Wow.
I'll still cherish my Silver above all others, however. |
Mine was a Pokemon Yellow! i got it for my 7th B-Day! i got up to Misty in less than 2
hours. |
mine would be pokemon red/blue, it brings back memories though...
my friend had snap i played that first and then like 3 days later on my bday i got red or blue
Pokemon Red.
Not much else to say other than it's outdated and obsolete now. =x |
The first Pokemon game I played was Pokemon LeafGreen :>
My first was Crystal! I don't have it anymore...I gave it to my cousins in another country.
mine was pokemon yellow and it was really hard but i never got that pokemon experience because you started with a pikachu and he followed you out of a pokeball.
It would be Pokemon Crater.
Sapphire along with Emerald. I wasn't interested in Pokemon until the third generations came into public purchase. It really brings back the memories... |
Pokemon Red all the way! I got it with my Green Gameboy Color (I still have the original GB and Red version).
My sister got Blue version, and eventually we both got both versions, and there started the addiction ;D. |
First Pokemon game I played was Ruby, and when I got to Groudon it was level 28.. I was a newbie back then and didn't catch it, instead I killed it :D
I know that it was either Red or Blue, but I don't recall because it was ten years ago and I only played it on a friend's GB.
Yellow. Ah good times. I liked it when Pikachu was happeh... :D
I followed up with Blue after that. Dunno. My grandma bought it for me. xD |
The first Pokemon game I played was my brother's Red Version on his Yellow Game Boy Color. He was like 3 at the time, he couldn't play it on his own. Lv 77 Blastoise against the Elite Four... Not so good results. Restarted and actually trained an entire team lol. Then he got Yellow, played it, and I kept Red and played it on my Lime Green GBC I got.
But Silver will always be my favorite. That game was practically glued to my hand all of the time. Got it the first Christmas is was out. Now own at least one Pokemon game from every series, except for a Pokemon Ranger game or the new Mystery Dungeons. |
I started with Pokemon Blue like two-three years ago. Ever since then I've been hooked.
My first Pokemon game I have ever played was Pokemon Silver :3 I think they should make a re-make of it since it's my favorite game of them all (excluding Pokemon Emerald).
The first pokemon game I ever played was yellow version.
Blue version! Not long after it come out =)
Blue here.
I was so excited about getting it, it was unreal. Probably the most excited i've been about something in my life (Hey, give me a break I was about 5 haha). I got the official Nintendo guide bought for me (The one with the Pikachu on the cover), and that just didn't help matters at all. When it came to Christmas Eve I was that excited I didn't sleep a wink and ended up waking my poor mum up at about 6am so I could go downstairs and play it haha. Can't remember who I chose at first, probably Charmander. I didn't get very far before I started again and the second time round I chose Bulbasaur. Good times. |
Pokemon yellow But it was either my brothers or my sisters
It was 2000 I was 4 years old my sister let my brother play her pokemon silver (she doesnt play pokemon anymore::() anyway i guess my brother somehow got a pokemon yellow that I always played (even though I had no idea what I was doing but I recognised pikachu from the anime)I played yellow until I was like seven thats when ruby and sapphire came out and I got ruby for my birthday. when I was eight I got fire red and that braught me back to yellow.my brother got emerold wich he later gave to me when I was like 9 then I got diamond for my 11th birthday I traded emerold for a Gameboy (the old one broke)and got pokemon gold off of ebay The END |
It was Pokemon Blue. Blastoise is awesome. :D
pokemon crystal. haha good times....i'd kick butt with Cyndaquil
Pokemon Silver. Those were the good old days.
Just me and Typholsion. The kick-butt team, the team who destroyed the elite four with one pokemon. |
Pokemon Crystal ftw, i remember being 7 and my dream back then basically coming true
XD I wanted to have my own pokemon (lil kids dream), i remember feeling super happy when the little sprite moved around and you could see a list with pokemon |
Quote:
xDDDD |
My first was Pokemon Red, on my teacher's Gameboy Color whilst we were on an overnight field trip. I was about eight or nine, and saved over her file by mistake. :3
The first Pokemon game I played on my own handheld system was Yellow- I got Yellow, Red and Blue for my birthday along with a GB Color, but yeah. I remember liking it so much, I skipped breakfast the morning after. o_O; XD |
my first pokemon game was ruby version
my first game was pokemon crystal
Mine was Emerald. Then I was an idiot and traded it for a Yellow. T.T
I started on Yellow when it first came out. I was around 10 and it was about the only thing I did.
First game I played was Pokemon Silve
Gold;
I still have it and the Gameboy Color I got for Christmas the year it came out, even though the game doesn't work anymore, sadly. But that's what R4s are for :) |
I got pokemon Blue for either the Game Boy or the Game Boy Pocket *sigh* those were the good old days.
My first ever Pokemon game was Pokemon Blue Version shortly after it came out. I saw the commercials and I thought "That looks stupid." but after watching a little of the anime, I fell in love with it along with my best friend. I already had a GameBoy Pocket, Limited Edition Ice Blue (which I still own) along with Game & Watch Gallery and Wario Land II. I got Pokemon Blue and I adored it, it was my second RPG game, right after Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. I remember that I named my trainer "Ash" and modeled my team after his, even beating Lt. Surge with my Pikachu, although I eventually evolved it.
My first game was Pokemon Yellow... For Christmas my Mom got me a Game Boy Color, Pokemon Yellow, and that Pikachu case for the Game Boy... I miss that case...
My mom's boyfriend's son had Pokemon Yellow.
...I begged for a GameBoy Color and Pokemon Yellow after that xDD I was six years old. Instead, I got a GameBoy Advance ((which I really didn't want)) and Pokemon Gold ((I couldn't tell MUCH of a difference, thoguh I wanted Yellow xDD)) I still have the GameBoy Advance and the Pokemon Gold ^^ Pokemon Gold doesn't save anymore though :( |
I started with silver when i was 4 or 5 my brother went to karate and i just played and went back to the place he was at. 1 time he beat me up for playing his games. now i play all pokemon games.i didnt play in kanto until fr lg.
I started with the Pokemon games riiiiiiight back when Red and Blue were released in the UK. The latter (Blue) was the one I actually started with. Since then, I've continued with the main series of the games, occasionally purchasing a spin-off game. (primarily the GameCube games and the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games)
My friend had Red, and I used to watch him play :) On the good ol' black and white Game Boy! :D Soon after, I got Red and my brother got Blue :) Incredible stuff :D
Original red, when i was 7 i think
I think my age was 10 when I first played Ruby. It was so addicting!
After that, it went to Sapphire and so on. |
Red. Only because it had Charizard on it
It was Red for me, back in the good old days where Gameboys were the size of our house and Uwe Boll didn't exist.
Mine was Pokemon Blue. You couldn't imagine my confusion when I discovered the Missingno concept.
Started with Gen 3, and stuck with it. I've never played another Gen! I got sapphire as soon as I got a game boy, because I used to be obsessed with water types.
Pokemon Red back when i was in the 1st grade.
Though I've been a fan since the start, my first game was Ruby. After that, I've bought/played/beat every game after and most before.
The first Pokemon game I played was Pokemon Red because Charizard was my first fire type Pokemon ever and I just had to get it.
Mine was Pokemon Crystal.
HAHA! I remember Pokemon was the new "in" thing, I've been on and off for 10 years of my life. Yellow was my favorite, I still play the Generic version, Leafgreen and firered, the classics will always be the best.
Silver was the first game I ever played
I never had a gameboy as a child. But when I was in my teens my cousin gave me his GBC and a few of his games including Red, Gold, and the Trading Card game. I decide to play Gold first and then Red.
definately pokemon silver
the best game ever and the most perfect game to start out with.. very enjoyable.. great storyline.. lots of things to do.. 16 gyms etc etc.. very fun... later on i played red blue yellow (never got a chance to play green) then i got gold which wasnt too bad (played the tcg game=crap) then i got a ruby but didnt have a gameboy to go with it until a little later (played sapphire but i like ruby better) then fire red the emerald and thats it.. the new ones kinda suck and i dont have any need for a ds.. oh and i forgot to add crystal i got that as well.. i loved how the sprites moved.. it was pretty cool and it was gr8 to have both lugia and ho0oh in one game.. |
YELLOW HECK YEAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaa
I remember my used Silver game like it was yesterday. I got it quite late, since Emerald came out around the time I got it. I didn't mind, I was happy that I finally got a Pokemon game (actually it was originally my bro's, long story).
I got pokemon blue for my 10th birthday. I got yellow a few months later.
My first game was Pokemon Red.
The first Pokémon game that I played was Sapphire.
I first played Ruby, but then I played FireRed next xD
Pokemon Yellow which I lost In 2007 I think
the first game i played was pokemon blue for the gameboy haha. i was so frustrated trying to get charizard to evolve because i was new to the leveling up and pretty much whole game play, lol i kept looking at the tcg card to see if it had a hint haha i was about 9
My first pokemon game was Red version. I started off with Bulbasaur, I was so excited. I believe my age was 8 back then.
My first pokémon game was Blue.
And here I am, Eleven years later, quietly anticipating the European release of Pokémon Platinum. |
I always loved the cards and the show since I was four or five. I didn't even know there were games until my brother got a Crystal with his GBA in 02. That was the first Pokemon game I played. The first one I owned was Silver.
I was three years old, when i played yellow and red, ahhh ;D Now, that is some good memories, my cousin let me have them, one guy's trash is another guys treasure i guess XD
