S> 2 Timid CB Duggies 32K each.
After about 2 weeks of success, my old team fell apart on the ladder, getting owned b practically everything. In light of this, I created a team that could counter the things that utterly destroyed my old team, as well as maintaining a strong sweeping capability.
http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/weavile.png Weavile @ Focus Sash Jolly Nature 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 6 HP Fake Out Ice Shard Night Slash/Pursuit Taunt/Brick Break/Counter Weavile is one of the better counters towards the two most common types of leads today: Trickers and SR setter-uppers. Aerodactyl and Azelf are the two main vicitms of this set. Fake Out ruins all Sashes, then I can either Ice Shard out Aero(who outspeeds me, so Taunt isn't a good option) or Taunt/Night Slash Azelf. Since Azelf switches a lot though, I'm considering Pursuit. Taunt stops Tricks from coming, although Meta probly thinks he can stop me with Bullet Pawnch otherwise, which is why Counter might go in. Brick Break would be for T-Tar leads. http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/infernape.png Infernape @ Life Orb Timid Nature 252 Spa/ 252 Spe/ 6 HP Nasty Plot Flamethrower Focus Blast Grass Knot A stolen set, NP Ape can set up and destroy several things. Flamethrower and Focus Blast make a nice double STAB, while Grass Knot gets Bulky waters and GYara. Ape is considered being replaced though, since I usually don't get SR up. http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/steelix.png Steelix @ Leftovers Impish Nature 252 HP/ 252 Sp. Def/ 6 Atk Explosion Gyro Ball Stealth Rock Roar THe mammoth physical wall from UU makes an OU appearance. Steelix's main job is to come in on physical attacks, and blow up sweepers that could be dangerous towards my team. While testing, I found that the above EVs only take around 88% from a Mixmence Fire Blast, and when Mixmence can cause problems... well, you get the point. http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/gyarados.png Gyarados @ Life Orb Adamant Nature 252 Atk/252 SPe/ 6 HP Dragon Dance Ice Fang/Stone Edge Earthquake Waterfall THe bread and butter DD Gyara. When Skymin was in OU, I ran Ice Fang to keep it in check, as well as the flying dragons. But now with Flygon's move to OU and Skymin's testing, I'm going back to Stone Edge. http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/starmie.png Starmie @ Leftovers Timid Nature- Natural Cure 160 HP/ 132 Spa/ 216 Spe Ice Beam Recover Rapid Spin Surf There's only one reason why Starmie is on this team- I have problems with entry hazards, and the Tentacruel I was using died like the economy(bad joke). Ice Beam serves as a check to most forms of Salamence, and Surf is self-explanatory. http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/gengar.png Gengar @ Choice Scarf TImid Nature 252 Spa/ 252 SPe/ 6 HP Focus Blast HP Ice Shadow Ball Thunderbolt One of the better revenge killers out there, Scarfgar gets unlimited coverage with Ghost/Fighting moves. Thunderbolt stops GYara, HP Ice the dragons. Currently my only check to Tar (Exploda-Lix doesn't count) My biggest threats: Spoiler:
Some Pokemon I have been considering to put in my team: Spoiler:
