They were different generations! I love playing the red remake FireRed, catching Mewtwo again with my Charizard.

#Infinity January 2nd, 2009 9:55 PM

I like Sapphire because the mascot legendary is Kyogre.

Haza January 2nd, 2009 10:06 PM

Ruby, Emerald, and FireRed. Like these three. Emerald may be the best of them though.

Xebelleon January 2nd, 2009 10:23 PM

I prefer Pokemon LeafGreen & Pokemon Sapphire.

Kyogre is a GBA fave of mine. I like Kanto sprites more in general than the Hoenn offerings. And the Kanto Pokedex looks better IMO.

I also have Emerald, but the BF is annoying. I actually do my resets with Emerald due to the Syncronize Abra thing for getting those legends.
And it is my best option for making the most of my Eon Ticket. Screws over the 'punches' though...

Pokemon emerald definitely, so much to do (also the cloning glitch, XD, I'm naughty). Unfortunatly, I lost my Emerald some months ago and now I can't find it (wahhh! *cries in his naughty corner*)!

Azonic January 3rd, 2009 8:42 AM

Pokemon Emerald, definitely. I thought Ruby and Sapphire were pretty fun to play but Pokemon Emerald was so much better than that. ;P

Red1530 January 3rd, 2009 5:57 PM

I have to go with Pokémon Emerald because it had the most and best features of the Third Generation.

xsh4d0wx January 3rd, 2009 6:37 PM

I voted for emerald because of there is so much more to do in it then just ruby or sapphire but Fire Red would be my second vote.

Leeky January 3rd, 2009 8:20 PM

Crystal. Then Gold, then Silver.

Why?

G/S/C kicked ass, because you could go to two regions.

Crystal, you had a better plot.
Gold, you had a skateboard
Silver, I wasn't able to see the movie WHEN WILL YOU LOVE ME LUGIA

Charizard88 January 3rd, 2009 9:48 PM

Well as my favorite GBA game I would have to say Emerald. As that is where the cloning glitch was invented and the introduction of some of the Jhoto pokemon we have missed for awhile such as Snubbull.

JollyRoger25 January 3rd, 2009 10:20 PM

Emerald was my vote
Plot - 9/10
Graphics - 9/10
Pokemon Availabity - 5/10
Version Compadability - 10/10
Overall - 33/40

QANTAN January 3rd, 2009 10:38 PM

Emerald easily. There are way too many features that put way above the rest of the games here.

Gulpin January 4th, 2009 10:36 AM

I like them all but Emerald >> all others...
Battle factory

xxdemonicfuxoffxx January 5th, 2009 4:03 PM

emerald ftw!
cuz of battle frontier
able to catch all legendaries
and... being able to clone

Sheek January 7th, 2009 10:10 PM

It's not about what one is the best, it's about your favorite one. I chose FR/LG because I was a huge fan of the original RBY series, and was overjoyed to play such a fine remake of them.

I personally didn't like R/S. If felt like a step back from Crystal, taking out animated sprites, night and day, and that kind of thing. I also disliked the Hoenn region in general compared to the others. It just didn't feel like Pokemon as much as the others did. Emerald was good though, as it felt a little more polished than the others, and had an excellent plot (for a Pokemon game anyway).

Sora_8920 January 8th, 2009 4:18 AM

Pokémon Emerald. The addition of the Battle Tower was awesome.

Evilyn January 8th, 2009 6:05 AM

Well, I played only Leaf Green and Emerald and I guess I'll vote for LG.
The only reason why it's better is because it doesn't have that RNG problem, unlike Emerald.

EnteiFirecracker January 8th, 2009 8:21 AM

FireRed. It was nice to visit a revamped version of the original two games.
For some reason, I felt that FireRed was better than LeafGreen.

As for Ruby, Saphire and Emerald - Despite the improvements they had made; it never appealed to me.

Roconza January 8th, 2009 9:08 AM

Pokemon Emerald because fr/lg never did it for me. I mean I played the orignal Red/blue so it was not any thing new to me. I adore E/R/S they are and kinda still are my favorite versoin of pokemon. Also it had a lot of my favorite pokemon too.

Dragon Face January 8th, 2009 11:01 AM

Emerald is so far my fav.

but i haven't played DP yet :/

Rii January 8th, 2009 11:52 AM

Mine would have to be a toss up between Firered and Emerald. I like Firered because the red version was the first pokemon game I played long ago. My first pokemon ever was Charmander too. Hehe.... I also like Emerald because of the story line and battle fronteir.

Honest January 29th, 2009 12:34 PM

Pokemon Emerald! Its the most "high tech" if you know what i mean. XD

HoneyBubbles January 29th, 2009 1:43 PM

Sapphire. It was the first pokemon game I ever bought, and it introduced me to my favorite region. I love the characters, pokemon and overall mood of the game.
LeafGreen is a close second.

Aether January 29th, 2009 2:20 PM

I loved LeafGreen the most. It was a remake, but It felt so fresh and new, it brought some good memories back too.

Alont January 31st, 2009 1:50 PM

im gonna have to go with sapphire ( and emerald, cuz they finally made hte pokemon MOVE) but one annoying thing about them is:
Mawhile doesnt evolve :( so i made its evolution, tell me if you like it:
