er post evs maybe, also I think I have a link to a decent site that might help you fix some common errors.

http://db.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/file/pokemon_rs_move_team.txt

well it does alright personally I think some of the movesets and evs are way off, but heh its a start. also 2 pronged fire weakness through saur and scizor, also bug/flying weakness here try to diversify you dont need two grasses x_x

Lokhlan August 31st, 2004 6:06 PM

Hmm, I'll do the Vena.

Venasaur - Calm -or- Timid
@Leftovers (+Speed)
-Leech Seed
-Sleep Powder
-Sludge Bomb
-Protect

Since sludge bomb is the only attack (It's a physical attck) I'm giving you, I ditched the + spc attck for speed

Note: I learned this moveset from DemonChaos (a.k.a XxAzNxX)

[Edit] You sleep powder 1st turn, then seed. Next, depending on what type of pokemon it is you either switch or sludge bomb them.

If the pkmn you are up against is fire type, then use protect & then switch.

Frostweaver August 31st, 2004 6:14 PM

Yeah... EV is definitely needed... o.o;

I personally don't suggest Pokemon changes (as sometimes it maybe personal favorites that's a must on a team or something), but yes sometimes you just have to check if your team suffers many common weaknesses...

Also refer to the ATG if you have time...

Venusaur- try to decide either you're using special or not. Venusaur cannot mix sweep. And NEVER use Frenzy Plant.

Scizor- do all you can to boost speed, including using salac berry and jolly if you want to use reversal. Also I'll consider HP Ghost to hit the ghosts who are immune to reversal.

Granbull- shouldn't really have bulk up when there isn't that much use for it. Use other physical attacks instead... rest is niffy too because it's not that great defensively. You may want to chesto rest instead.

Vappy- no change needed

Ludicolo- personally I prefer taking off toxic for surf or protect... And why take away valuable defense? Use a -attack nature.

Finglonger August 31st, 2004 6:22 PM

er on scizor agility works wonders

scizor @lum berry
evs 252 speed, 129 def, 129 attack adamant
agility
hp rock
swords dance
silver wind

works wonders agility up first turn, hp rock takes down any incoming fires and yeah youre set to sweep. Lum berry is there to protect par or burn from bringing it down . = )

Frostweaver August 31st, 2004 7:16 PM

Yes, but then original Scizor started off with reversal...

And if you're using agility Scizor, you don't need that much speed EV. Just enough to be right on 198 and it's good enough (this means you get around 124 more EVs to go into hp, def or atk). Swords dance can also be return or aerial ace if having 2 stat+ move is too slow for the taste.

Ice demon August 31st, 2004 7:21 PM

Venusaur[adamant]
EVs - Att, Def, hp
sludge bomb
earthquake
sword dance
HP ghost

Adamant Saur..................

or u can go with this one is stumbled upon

Venusaur[adamant/modest]@ leftovers
EVs - SpDef, hp, Att/SpAtt
sludge bomb/HP grass
synthesis/rest
leech seed
sleep powder

never tried it to see how well it works ^_^
but according to the person i got it from it does..........

Ludicolo - take frostweavers advice and replace toxic with surf and calm personality

ah yes well Im terrible with evs...glad you caught me on that one...

I dropped Granubull for a Tyranitar.

@Leftovers
-Hasty Nature

-Arieal Ace
-Dragon Dance
-Protect
-Earthquake

Tendo knows how well this Tyranitar can work.

I want to drop Scizor for a Shuckle or Registeel. Or maybe a Milotic? Or maybe a Shedninja to avoid those reversal tricks.

Ice demon September 3rd, 2004 3:10 PM

Well the most popular T-Tar moveset around is
T-Tar[jolly]
EVs - Att, Sp, Def
earthquake
taunt
rock slide
dragon dance

Mind u Claydol and Flygon resist everything here so beware. U can also consider ice beam somewhere but i think that if one of those afore mentioned pokemon come out u should either try to DD all the way or just switch. A STABed earthquake would suck.........

IMO either take ludicolo or milotic not both.......cuz u already have vappy

Hello shedinja + Sandstream = faint.....
Sandstorm will kill sheddy so don't pic him if u want T-Tar..
