Shun's Sprites

Welcome to my sprite showcase

You are not allowed to use my sprites without my permission.
If you do use them without my permission i will report you, I can tell if you use them because i have edited the pixels and made the sprites more or less useless.

here they are.

Revamps

the two bttom ones (espeon and umbreon) are not finished so they have been made Jpeg files.

If something isnt finished you STILL dont save it JPG or GIF. And those are NOT revamps. a revamp is like, taking a sprite from an old game, rubbing out all the shading in it [not the outline] and if you are revamping it to DP. grab the DP sprite and put beside it and try and use the type of shading style, then do the outlining and wala.

Atleast..im pretty sure thats how you do it. xD

Let's see...
Well like NitroF said, these arn't quite par to re-vamping, normal style anyways.
I guess changing Chikorita to it's current DP colors and have a more black outline (try to avoid a total back outline) is some-what of a revamp.

(Though now that I look at the old GS sprite, I like the yellow/gold base with green leaves more...)

You just need to take the general outline and specific features of the old sprite and then rework them to the appearance of a DP era sprite, best to look off of the current DP sprite for reference.

-- Explanation: A Revamp is a sprite from an older version that you take and put it in a newer version format, that does not only mean you recolor it, you must add more colors for shading and work a lot to improve the linework so that the old sprite will be similar to the one of a newer version in every aspect other than position and size. Although many people are used to consider a pokemon revamp as an older GB version to Advance format, anything that is transfered from an older version to a newer one is considered a revamp and therefore taking a sprite from Blue version and making it similar to the one in Gold version is also a revamp. Most older versions have poor light sources or no shading at all which make it more difficult to revamp them. I will explain the goods and bads of each version. A software I recommend for revamping, as well as any other kind of sprite work is GraphicsGale Free Edition.
You should read the guide thread before spriting, you could get the Platinum or D/P sprites to then use there colors and change some of the tone if it makes it look better.
