....wat? I don't know what you just said, but k.

Aurafire January 1st, 2009 11:16 AM

He meant that sometimes two people get into a long conversation in the DCC and make it harder for other people to post as well. But anyway...I'm sure the two people wouldn't be uber offended if you did end up posting something in the middle of the conversation. The more the merrier after all ^___^

But.. that's kinda the point of the DCC.. only,.. more people are involved in it. But I don't know what role playing has to do with it. D:

Past DCCs had a tendency to degenerate into impromptu roleplaying. I should know; I actually participated in a few of those RP sessions.

Tokin January 1st, 2009 11:22 AM

even in my short stay I've seen some, I'm really not that kind of chatter so I'm one of those who sits out until we can get back to talking again^^;

Michii January 1st, 2009 11:23 AM

It's just kind of difficult to get into a conversation that's with a couple people.

FOR EGG SAMPLEE: The pregnant pageant thing was hard to get into. I wanted to transform Nick the little eight year old into a mutant hippo just to spice things up, but it was hard to get involved. DDD:

Tyrantrum January 1st, 2009 11:25 AM

Geez, just posted yesterday and already over 200 posts! O_o

And Michii, that really isn't true. You just have to figure out a topic that will get one started. ;D

Actually, it really is true because my opinion is valid for my particular perspective :<<. But I see what you mean. =]

Is anyone doing anything for New Years? I have to go to my Aunt's house in a couple hours and play with my little cousins (all ranging from three to seven years old). It's actually not as bad as it seems. They're fun to be with, and the seven year old knows how to play guitar hero so :3.

Tokin January 1st, 2009 11:30 AM

nothing actually, but we did have something like a second christmas, where everyone gives and gets gifts on new year's eve^^

OH I REMEMBER THOSE!!
Remember the Fullmetal Alchemist one with Roy Mustange and Riza Hawkeye?
Man, those were good times. Thanks for reminding me of that.

Michii: Is there a reason you use size 1 font? I can barely see it on a 1440x900 screen...I don't want to skip over your posts but I don't want to kill my eyes either.

Stronkadonk January 1st, 2009 11:44 AM

Michii's font looks decent to me :\
Although it is a bit small, it is still readable.
So...
Topic tiem?
Favorite Next Gen Console?

Oh yea, I forgot about self opinions. :< XD

Tokin January 1st, 2009 11:50 AM

Fav next gen concole?, it's hard for me to say, I've been enjoying both the Wii and the PS3 lately, decisions, decisions^^;(yes, personalized text color)

Yamikarasu January 1st, 2009 11:50 AM

I can read it.

Btw, is there a way to make it so all of your posts are a certain font, so like its automatic, or do you have to select a certain font for every post?

It sets me apart from everyone else in a subtle way. I've been using it for a couple years on forums, and I just guess I'm in the habit of using it all the time now.

Plus, I think regular size looks terrible on me. It's just so bland and BLEHHH.. Which is why I'm thinking of switching to arial font. XD

yea it does seem plain, but that font is really small

Aizuke January 1st, 2009 12:23 PM

Small font is hard to read when you've just woken up. >_O

Michii January 1st, 2009 12:33 PM

I guess it's just my computer that it works well on. I'd hate to change to regular, but good for other members >>> good for myself. :]]

This is weird. XDD;

EDIT. Too weird. I'm switching to arial forever. :'D Is it ok? DDD:

Aizuke January 1st, 2009 12:37 PM

I never really liked Arial font. D: Though the :3 smiley looks good in it.

But really.. It's just.. Text? XD It's not like your clothes or anything. :C

It is to me. I don't know why, but I've always seen different fonts as important. It's just something that ... iono. Defines me in a way? XDD; /shot

Ivysaur January 1st, 2009 1:29 PM

Tahoma kills any existing font. I have it as default for my browser XD

Yu_&_Rei January 1st, 2009 1:30 PM

I usually dont care about my font, unless I'm making something special then it should like nice.

Sushi. January 1st, 2009 2:03 PM

I mostly use regular font, but sometimes depend after my main line. I use the tiny font sometimes.

Yu_&_Rei January 1st, 2009 2:17 PM

I never use Tiny Font, I like the normal size better.

ruby January 1st, 2009 2:23 PM

Neo Sans, best font evar. <3

It's in my sig, but you guys probably won't have it. D;

Yu_&_Rei January 1st, 2009 2:28 PM

It does look good actually, but no I dont think we have it.

Ho-Oh January 1st, 2009 2:35 PM

Times New Roman + Bold is and always will be the best.

Wait... then why tf do I use Tahoma + Bold on MSN?

Stronkadonk January 1st, 2009 2:45 PM

I'd have to go with the fact that Tahoma is the best ;P

Chibi-chan January 1st, 2009 2:53 PM

Everyone needs to use more Comic Sans MS, lol
Actually, CSMS is a really good font when you use it properly. It's used for most fansubtitles.

Yamikarasu January 1st, 2009 2:54 PM

I'm liking Neo Sans, but it's too bad you have to pay to get it. :(

True Reign January 1st, 2009 3:45 PM

I enjoy using Old English as my title for projects. Makes me feel important, haha. :)

ErickaVolt January 1st, 2009 3:50 PM

I'm fine with all the fonts. Arial Black is just the same as bold.

Aurafire January 1st, 2009 4:15 PM

I'm a big fan of Papyrus....too bad it's not here on PC though. It's such a cool font though =P

Aegis January 1st, 2009 4:41 PM

Guuuys! ;-; I can't believe I missed the first 250+ posts of the new DCC! D:

I'm a fan oh Tahoma, myself. It juts looks the neatest o3o

Nick January 1st, 2009 4:46 PM

Fonts <3

My favorite fonts include Tahoma, Century Gothic, Trebuchet MS, Franklin Gothic Medium and Verdana. On a few occasions I do tend to like Georgia as well.

Caelus January 1st, 2009 4:48 PM

My favorite is Arial, Times New Roman, and Tahoma.

I'm fine with any post that includes any of those three fonts.

ErickaVolt January 1st, 2009 4:59 PM

Hey everyone! I made a thread about fonts! Link.

Aurafire January 1st, 2009 5:20 PM

I just wish Times New Roman wasn't the standard. It's kind of plain looking imo. I wish I could write papers in crazy fonts! =D

Alakazam17 January 1st, 2009 5:30 PM

I'm afraid I don't pay attention to fonts, XDD. I usually just use the default, which is either Times New Roman or Arial, heh.

And even when making images(such as the one in my sig), I just randomly select different available fonts until I find one that is cool-looking. :P

Volkner's Apprentice January 1st, 2009 5:33 PM

Yeah, ditto, Bill, I'm a big default font person. Times New Roman is good, Verdana, Comic Sans, and sometimes this one form of Calligraphy is sweet.

Stronkadonk January 1st, 2009 6:07 PM

There's a font polling station in the section for it.
Guess it was a hot topic.
So...
Someone make a topic.

Angela January 1st, 2009 8:20 PM

I really don't care about the fonts, because the font I like can't be used on here:(

Aizuke January 1st, 2009 10:52 PM

It was always a font battle between Tahoma and Trebuchet MS.

Those two are the main ones I use. I used Trebuchet MS for a period of time, then started using Tahoma because for some reason, it looked better, since Trebuchet MS has like flicky writing, or something. XD;;

Yay for mixed fonts. :B

Guillermo January 1st, 2009 10:58 PM

I use Tahoma since I can never be bothered changing it to anything else.

Tyrantrum January 1st, 2009 11:05 PM

Meh, I'll use Tahoma in posts, and every now and then Century Gothic in signatures.

Sushi. January 2nd, 2009 8:03 AM

Wow, this font talk has been going for a while right now. >.<
I just only like about couple of fonts or so...

It seems like I haven't gotten anyone to Battle Band against me on Rock Band 2.
I think still more Nintendo people play Brawl then even Rock Band 2. >.<

Aurafire January 2nd, 2009 10:25 AM

Brawl still seems insanely popular...I know I'm totally in love with it. But I'll pick up RB/GH everyone once in a while. I still have to get the world tour guitar game because I don't want to buy the whole package =/

Yamikarasu January 2nd, 2009 11:44 AM

What are these non-pokemon games you speak of? :P

I haven't played Brawl or Guitar Hero in a while... maybe I should... but this morning I was playing Animal Crossing and Boom Blox, both of which are pretty fun games.

Sushi. January 2nd, 2009 12:01 PM

But hey, I least some random people still play the Wi-fi Aerosmith game. >.<
Even know most people choose there best Brawl character for Wi-fi. But I actaully most of the time, play random characters to see what fits me. >.<

Aurafire January 2nd, 2009 12:03 PM

If you ever get 4 friends together for brawl, do a totally random battle. Random characters, random map and all items on max. It's both frustrating and hilarious at the same time XD

Arcanine January 2nd, 2009 12:12 PM

Wow... so many posts so soon in the year. XD

As for Brawl... my brother still plays it, and he's pretty good at it. But I can't take lag (on any game), and it's worse for me on fighters. And for some reason everyone that has a crappy connection just loves to jump on Brawl. I liked it when I battled Erica, or battled some others. But they had good fast connections. I get into a random match and it's.... X_x;;

Netto Azure January 2nd, 2009 12:30 PM

Wow...Just 2 days have passed and the New DCC has already 12 Pages? =O Well Belated Happy New Year's everyone...SSBrawl? I would play it if I had a Wii ;_; I just have to watch my Classmates play it in the Anime Club at School T_T Well just 2 more years till College.
Right now in terms of Video Games I'm addicted to playing Chrono Trigger DS secretly at night. ^___^

Arcanine January 2nd, 2009 1:00 PM

The prices on PS3s have come a long ways. You can get one for a good price now. Where before it was like... $600 for like a 20 gig system.

Arcanine January 2nd, 2009 1:32 PM

Well, I'll say this. Being one that has all 3 consoles... you'll be playing the 360 far more then the PS3 or Wii.

Awww, but if you leave the cafe we can't get them awesome espressoes, and lattes and so on. ;.;

Cherrim January 2nd, 2009 1:42 PM

I've been playing my PS3 a lot more than my 360 lately! But I figure that's probably mostly because I'm going to miss it when I move back out on Sunday. ;~; I can only take my 360 and PS2 with me.

Yeah, the 360 rocks. I only own the Wii and the 360, but I haven't played the Wii nearly at all since I got the 360. The games are much better, more complicated, and are just much more fun to play.

Gulpin January 2nd, 2009 1:44 PM

I have SSBrawl, and I guess I'm fairly good at it. I've completed the main story, since I don't have any sibilings to play it with/friends with Wi-Fi. All I have is a Wii, I've never been too interested in the PS3 or the 360, so I probably won't get one.

pokejungle January 2nd, 2009 1:49 PM

SSBB was a little *too* similar to SSBM in my opinion. Eh, I finished most of the Subspace thing but didn't get around to all of it. That maze part is just so boring.

Anyways, PS3 rocks <3 I love built in wireless, card reader, PS2 compatibility, free online play, blu-ray, etc. Just was better for me <3 If anyone wants to play PM me. I'm on GTA / MGO / SOCOM mostly.

Michii January 2nd, 2009 2:31 PM

While my brother has a PS3, I prefer the Wii considerably. It's so fun to play, and I loveeloveeloveeee getting involved in games such as Wii Sports and Mario Party. It's fun to use your body to make the game do its thing. Plus, Guitar hero is better on Wii than PS3 :< I can't really speak for 360 since I've never touched one in my short life. :/

P.S. I declare myself ruler of 5:00-5:59pm of the chat for the rest of the year. D<

Or did you get TOB for when you go back?

I just can't find anything I like on the Wii. And even if I find something I just can't go get it because I got such a large backlog.

And yeah, but working in the cafe gets so old if I do it all of the time. 8( And I'll still be working there about half of the time, so. :D

The two main reasons why I wanted a PS3 was...
1: To have all the systems this gen (both handhelds and consoles).
2: To make sure I don't miss any games.
And that's pretty much it... Bragging rights, and just in case a game is only on one system I'm able to get it. Like in case of MGS4... such a great game, if it was last gen and on the XBox then I would have missed out on it. I missed out on some XBox games and I didn't want that to happen this gen.

Mitchman January 2nd, 2009 2:38 PM

New thread and i have not posted my daily chit chat? Wow. Anyway i realised that i got 3400 posts. And i did that in what 13 days including holidays? yeah sounds right. Anyway Between Life and such i get 5-6 hours a day of internet. yeah that explains it. But hmm i am glued to my wii. Anyone know a way were my wii games wont addict me to it?

Nah, I finished Re:COM in Japanese and I'm having problems sitting down and playing console games in general these days. D: I can't really play TOB because I've already played the hell out of Portal, I want to finish up Half-Life before I play HL2 and I don't have gold so TF2 is kinda moot. XD

I LOVE MARIO PARTY! and they have it on Wii? I had no clue. I can't stand Wii sports though, my family plays golf all. the. time. it's so annoying. my brother just got a 360 for christmas and I attempted to play call of duty on it. I do like it, but I don't see much of a difference between the two consoles :x

I PREFER MY DS LITE :D

Mr. Epic January 2nd, 2009 3:01 PM

How come I am so late in finding there is a new thread :C
Oh and about the game consoles I could really only buy one but my brother could by one of the others and I chose the 360 because the I love Nintendo and all but the Wii's games suck compared to the ones of the 360.
IMO the games are to childish or for retarded adults which think it's fashionable and so there are very few, what I call, real games!
I will play battle revolution on my brothers Wii when he gets it though :>

Cherrim January 2nd, 2009 3:11 PM

From what I've played/heard, PBR is terrible. :| How is that like the only game on Wii you're looking forward to!?

Morkula January 2nd, 2009 3:26 PM

PBR is a really sucky game. Although to be fair, compared to 95% of the Wii's library, it's a triple-A title. >>

Anyway, I spend most of my time on the 360, with the PS3 in a very distant second. I barely play the Wii anymore, except for when I get the urge to work on beating Zack and Wiki, and I might start on Metroid Prime 3 soon. I've got so much stuff to beat now though...working on Lost Odyssey and I guess I'll get to Re:CoM after that. The PS2 is still out in the living room and I don't feel like moving it back. XD

Yeah. I played it a couple weeks ago with 38967349867 people at my friend's birthday party. We shook cans until they burst, raced, had a "how many baseballs can you hit" thing, and much more. It's so much fun with 38967349867 people. :321

...I think that's what I played. D':

...Not really. I mean, if you're going on wifi with it, and don't mind spending hours of time playing painfully repetitive pokemon battles with random people over, and over again, then I guess...er...

Actually, you know what? Scratch that, PBR is an awful game. I rented it once a while back, and while it was kinda cool seeing everything in 3-D, you're better off just playing D/P/P battles. The only real difference from what I can see if being able to customize your trainer, and...yeah, that's about it. Aside from battling, there was no real "game" attached to it ._.;

I hardly ever play my wii anymore, aside from the occasional brawl when I get the urge to beat someone's ass down via a television screen. I just got ToS 2, and despite the fact that I never actually finished the first game, I might get started on that soon.

Right now, Fallout 3's become my biggest time-consumer.

Alakazam17 January 2nd, 2009 6:03 PM

I was one of the few people who liked PBR because I could have WiFi battles on it when I couldn't with my DS. It was all because the Wii allows WPA(which is what I had), while the DS only allows WEP. >_<

But that aside, PBR sucked horribly. The only use I got out of it was a Hardy Surfing Pikachu, and a Dubious Disc to evolve my Porygon2 with. XD

Caelus January 2nd, 2009 6:33 PM

I never bothered to by PBR just because of the bad reviews it got.

Anyway, the only current-gen console I own is the Wii (I have access to the others).

Alakazam17 January 2nd, 2009 6:42 PM

I only have the Wii as well. In fact, I only have Nintendo systems, and every one since the Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Colour, XD. The only downside is no Final Fantasy or Banjo-Kazooie Threeie, but I'm fine with that for the moment. ^^

The only Microsoft product I have is my copy of Windows, and the only Sony product is this old television that doesn't work anymore. =P

pokejungle January 2nd, 2009 7:30 PM

Ah you guys are too harsh on Sony's darling <3

Something about the PS3 has just really turned me on. It is a very sleek (sexy?) console physically and has a lot of internal features. Developers just don't utilize it.

Tokin January 2nd, 2009 7:37 PM

I personally support all consoles as long as they have good games, I don't really have any favorite companies, if the games are good, I play them, it's extremely simple^^

pokejungle January 2nd, 2009 7:41 PM

I used to be die-hard anti-Sony. Mainly I resented the PS2's popularity while the Gamecube anguished into obscurity. It just wasn't fair. Nintendo made a console that looked better than the competition, had a superior controller, and also a better name. But in the end there was nothing we could do to save it.

Ah well. Now Nintendo's making crappy games for "everyone" by the minute and Reggie can go burn in the eternal flames of a world before video games.

Yeah man, I used to be the same way, but mainly just because the gamecube was the only console I had at the time (back before I eventually just gave in, and bought a PS2).

...But thinking back, it was really only something I would do out of envy. I mean to be honest, outside of a few good games that no one's ever heard of, aside from me (Baten Kaitos, PSO), and a few nintendo franchise game, the gamecube...really didn't have that many exclusive games for its older audience. I mean yeah, it had RE4 as an exclusive for a while, but even that eventually made its way over the the PS2 ._.

Morkula January 2nd, 2009 8:49 PM

I don't mind the PS3. I think it's a great console with a lot of potential, but I think the fact that it's (apparently) so hard to program for, plus its cost ($150-200 more than the other consoles) really sets it at a disadvantage. The 360 is more of a community-oriented console with the different gaming events that happen on an almost daily basis, Xbox Live being the best online gaming experience on either console, in my opinion the NXE is much sleeker and user friendly than the XMB, and stuff like gamerscore and achievements gives you more to do in games other than just beat them. So I prefer the 360, yes, but in no way do I think the PS3 is a bad console.

The Wii on the other hand...so much potential down the drain with that poor overclocked Gamecube with waggle...seriously, it could have had some awesome games that make good use of the motion control (and it does have some, like Metroid, Zack and Wiki, and Trauma Center), but Nintendo is satisfied with Wii Music, Petz, and Imagine! crap on its console instead of real games. Plus the online is just a total wreck.

For me, 360 > PS3 > Wii.

:( The PS3 is ONLY behind because its library isn't as refined yet and... mostly for the reasons Mork mentioned. But I do really like it. It has my favourite controller by far.

The Wii just has very little of interest for me. Brawl was fun and everyone mentions all these great titles for Wii but... I just don't care enough. I have all the others and if I have the extra money to buy games, I'm going to get games for them because they're higher up on my "want" list.

Ho-Oh January 2nd, 2009 9:28 PM

Using the Wii remote is hard. I prefer Game Cube. Yeah Super Mario Galaxy should totally get a Game Cube version.

pokejungle January 2nd, 2009 9:40 PM

Baten Kaitos was ok, but I just didn't get into it. Normally I like a card oriented game but the combat was just too complex and random ;x

Cherrim January 2nd, 2009 9:54 PM

I was fine with everything in Baten Kaitos except... the voice acting. They borked up the recording or something because everyone sounded like they were talking through a tube and it was the most annoying thing ever. :( I got a few hours in and just couldn't play anymore.

Morkula January 2nd, 2009 9:57 PM

I never tried Baten Kaitos. I'm not a big fan of card-based RPGs, and apparently BK's battle system is similar to Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, which I didn't care for. So that's one series I passed on.

Mitchman January 3rd, 2009 1:13 AM

Agreed. Before 2 weeks ago i hated the black box of sony cause of its rpice and supposedly no new games but now im dying to get one cause i really want PS2 games. Crappy thing is the no saves for PS2 games if you get it just for that reason. But i really want one for devil may cry 4 resistance 2 little big planet and other games. AND THE PS3 is more easy to hook up then the wii.

Ivysaur January 3rd, 2009 1:56 AM

I got Baten Kaitos from a friend a couple of years ago and I never played further than the first boss. I didn't like the battle style at all, even if I'm a big RPG fan. Card-based battles are not my thing, definitely :[

Aizuke January 3rd, 2009 1:58 AM

I kinda liked Baten Kaitos, it was weird and funny. XD; I finished it too, but the ended... Was really long and kinda sucked. :|

And Nica, can't you hook up the Game Cube controller to the Wii? [/doesn't have a Wii, plz dun shoot me]

Unfortunately, only particular games allow the use of Game Cube controllers, like Brawl or Mario Kart: Wii. That can be annoying for someone like me with only one Wiimote and five friends/brother that play along. >_>

I don't like the majority of games that are out for 360, but PS2 is good (haven't heard much about PS3) and I love the Wii. I guess I'm just more of a kid at heart when it comes to games in general, so I stick to my favorites in Mario, Link, Starfox, etc. Plus Wii games still have loads of potential, I mean the system doesn't necessarily have to kick the bucket in five years. Granted other companies might be delving further into advanced technology to surpass what the Wii is capable of and/or completely owning it in features, etc. yet I don't see why older systems can't just evolve with upgrade packages or installments, especially with the online capabilities now. They shouldn't have to make a "new Wii" in five years, same goes for the other systems. They should just allow you to purchase a system upgrade like you can with personal computer packages.

Who starts the topics around here? Anybody?

Aurafire January 3rd, 2009 12:09 PM

I still need to pick up either a 360 or a PS3...I feel like I'm missing out on way too many great games. I can sort of keep up with some games for my laptop, but it doesn't seem the same =/

Alakazam17 January 3rd, 2009 12:12 PM

I'll never get those systems, as by the time I can afford them, they'll be yesterday's news. XDD

True Reign January 3rd, 2009 12:17 PM

PS3 > 360 > Game Cube > Wii for me.

For me PS3 is amazing because (for some reason) I like the graphics more than on the 360. It also has amazing games, such as Resistance, Killzone, and others. Now I'm mainly just waiting on inFamous and God of War III to come out. These are suppose to be good games with alot of expectation coming from both highly, successful gaming companies.

360 comes in second place because of the games and graphics. Don't get me wrong, I like the Halo series and Gears of War series, but they got old to me awhile ago.

Game Cube is in third because it's just plain awesome. I remember staying up playing Super Smash Bros. Melee and Mario Galaxy (is that what it is???).

Wii sucks. Period. Super Smash Bros. Brawl was the only good thing that came out of it. Seriously.

I have both. ^_^

Lucy Lu January 3rd, 2009 12:20 PM

The only consoles I got so far are Game Boy(the classic), GameCube, and DS Lite. Recently I got the DS Lite. I wish I got a Wii, but I am afraid it might be collecting dust just like the GameCube. I don't play video games often. The most I will play is about 30 minutes to an hour. And then I turn off the game.

I got Mario Kart DS, Chrono Trigger DS, and Naruto: Ninja Destiny for my DS Lite. The next games I want to get is Diamond, The New Super Mario Bros., and Cooking Mama.

I can't get 360, PS3, or Wii because I don't have the money for them. And plus the DS Lite and the GameCube is fine. I might get the Wii someday.

Aurafire January 3rd, 2009 12:24 PM

Just a Laptop, PS2 and DS for me...I'm actually very satisfied with all three, as I can play most of the games I want to play. Maybe I'll save up for something else though =P

Lucy Lu January 3rd, 2009 12:47 PM

Yeah I am satisfied with my DS Lite, computer, tv, mp3 player, and other stuff. XD Might get a laptop someday. Heck, I got myself a digital camera. Now I just need a laptop. I love getting electronics. I blame my dad for that. He loves getting that stuff. The only thing he doesn't care for is video game consoles. But the other stuff...he does. Me, my brother, and my dad are the electronic loving geeks. :D

Razer302 January 3rd, 2009 12:50 PM

I have a PS2, PS3, 3 DS, PSP and a Gamecube. I have way to many consoles. I will have to sell them at some point so I have some money. All the prices increasing is leaving me cutting back on buying new things.

I am just about to buy a new TV. I can't wait to get a 32" in my room. I am always getting the latest gadgets. xD

pokejungle January 3rd, 2009 1:22 PM

I'm still on the original DS. Was going to buy a Lite, but why bother when the DSi will drop in March/April?

It's confusing as hell at first, but aside from the fact that you're dealing with cards as your only real means of attacking, they're...really not that similar. In CoM you have the ability to shuffle through your cards mid-battle, where as in Baten Kaitos you're...pretty much just stuck with whatever you're delt out. I mean yeah, you have the power to build up your own "deck," but the order in which they appear is entirely random. Oh, and plus, it's turn based, which may or may not be a good thing.

Still, aside from the terrible voice acting, it's a pretty good game with a decent storyline. If you haven't played it, you should just give it a shot. I mean it's 4 years old now, so you could probably pick it up for like $15 at gamestop.

...Just to clarify, this is "eternal wings and the lost origin" we're talking about, not "origins," which sucked >_>

Edit: Oh, and for the record: 360>PS3>Wii

Lucy Lu January 3rd, 2009 1:30 PM

I was thinking about waiting for the DSi, but then I realized that it doesn't have a GBA port. I would like the play some Game Boy Advance games on it. So I went ahead and got the DS Lite. But the DSi seems pretty nice. It got a camera and other cool stuff. So it isn't a total loss.

Razer302 January 3rd, 2009 1:31 PM

I personally wouldn't get the DSi for one I love playing old GBA games and having a camera isn't my thing as I have a camera for that already.

Sushi. January 3rd, 2009 1:46 PM

I was originally was planning to save up for a DS Lite, but instead I planned to get a GBA SP before I planned for DS Lite. >.<

PS3 > Wii > 360
Why?
PS3 - Even know I don't have one, but I played World Tour at GameStop. And that was just awesome of the graphics.
Wii - Before I got the Wii, I really wanted Brawl by then. And for many months, I had to deal with only two games which are Aerosmith, and SSX Blur. >.<
360 - Why last? Because of how I heard it can't be fix with the Red light thing, and it seems like it's the first one to be broken before the PS3 or the Wii. >.<
