My Pokemon Pearl Run

Hey guys. As I don't care to give out my real name, I'm simply going to try and be known as 7gamex here. Anyway, I am starting this topic because I am trying something new. I have yet to beat either Pokemon Pearl or Diamond, and so I am going to do that now, and add the videos to youtube.

So, if you want to join in watching me try and beat this game, then come along. My youtube account is of course, 7gamex. The first two videos are up, and I will probably be working on the third soon. I do have a question however.

Should I try going through this game with just one pokemon? Possibly my starter? Or should I just do a full team? Well, thanks to all who give any good advice, and thanks to those who watch my videos.

Just one poke would definitely be more of a challange.

Interesting idea though. I'll check it out.

That's what I was wondering though. I have seen 3 "One Pokemon Only" runs (All from Datai), and it seems easier, as well as harder. But, considering this is my first time through, should I do something like that? Knowing me, I will see something that looks cool and want to use it.

One Pokemon or a full team of one type of pokemon would be more challenging.

From what I have seen, using one pokemon can actually be easier. Since it is the only one you have (that you level that is), it gets to a very decent level and therefore is hard to take down anyway. That, and any items you buy go to him only, so you don't waste more money on other pokemon.

As for the full team of one type, that would be more difficult only in the aspect of training. The main reason I would go for a one run is because grinding one pokemon 5 levels is easier than doing 5 of them. =D

But, I will see what happens within the next few cities worth of pokemon to see.

I have very high doubts that I will keep my starter with me.

Straptor is the evolved form of...Starly, correct? If so, no thanks. There are better flying types I can get. Most likely.

As for Luxray, he does look cool. I might go for him.

This kind of stuff goes in the Sinnoh Travel Journal.
