Should i get Diamond/Pearl???
dear friends,
i was an avid pokemon kid back in the late 90's, from cards, to shows, to movies, to games, to other merch. but i haven't played a pokemon game since ruby/sapphire came out. i was wondering if anyone can give me a lagit case on why i should purchase either diamond, pearl, or anything past the GBA games for that matter, handheld or otherwise. is it worth it for me to invest (on my minimum wage salary) on new handhelds and/or systems? let me know what you think. thanks. |
Yes! Now D/P has WiFi which is an obvious must! There is more moves, newer Pokemon, a better Battle Tower, better graphics, better storyline, everything is just upgraded! =3 Though, just wait for Platinum, why buy it now if you just wait a little longer and you can get Platinum.

Only if you want to. If you, do I would suggest waiting for Platinum to be released within the next few months instead of getting Diamond or Pearl.

I've never understood why people ask others whether they should buy a game or not. We can't decide for you. It's completely up to you whether to you want to play the newer games or not. The best advice I can give you is the look around on video websites and watch gameplay videos and see if they appeal to you or not.

It really doesn't matter.
The only differences are that in diamond, you catch Dialga(Dragon Steel) and in pearl you catch Palkia.(Dragon-Water) Also, crandinos is speacil for diamond and sheildon for peal. Pearl also has Purugly has an exclusive. Just choose any game it doesn't matter, mostly everything is the same. |
As 2 people said, it's up to you. If you really want to get more answers, put this in the Q&A Thread.
