Your Writing (Latin Alphabet)...

The poll question field makes this space quite redundant, no?

But if you want to know, mine's cursive.

Signomi January 27th, 2009 2:40 PM

Cursive, definitely. I find this style of type more appeasing than that of your average handwriting you see so frequently from other people.

Aether January 27th, 2009 3:00 PM

I'm not good at writing in anything but cursive...

Ezzo! January 27th, 2009 3:15 PM

I don't like print. But, my handwriting is like cursive and print mixed together, lol. It's different.

Aurafire January 27th, 2009 3:36 PM

I always print...I can still write cursive, but haven't done so in years. I dunno...I guess I just print better =P

the bitter end. January 27th, 2009 3:36 PM

I generally write normal, I dun like writing cursive ;_;

Hiidoran January 27th, 2009 3:40 PM

I don't believe I have used cursive since I was in early secondary school. It's not really a choice of style, more like a choice of speed. I can write in print much quicker than cursive, which is a little ironic considering cursive is basically made for speed. Cursive is more pleasing to my eyes, however.

Alakazam17 January 27th, 2009 3:42 PM

I use cursive for everything, unless "PLEASE PRINT" is stated in big bold letters. =P

Spinor January 27th, 2009 5:11 PM

Neither, I write "AdvancedK9"

It's like print, except it is uglier to confuse my graders in a special way.

When it gets out of control, I type.

I never used cursive. For some reason I am never able to read it.

XxZer0xX January 27th, 2009 5:29 PM

I've got a mix of Print and cursive. Prinsive.

Shiny Umbreon January 27th, 2009 5:35 PM

Not cursive. I find it messy lol. But, of course, you won't be able to read if I'm writing fast anyway. xD Things like "e"s after "d"s are not separated, though, but they are few specific letters, so it wouldn't even count as an hybrid. =P

TwilightBlade January 27th, 2009 5:39 PM

Print. I remember my teachers trying to reinforce cursive, but it kinda failed.. I only use cursive when I sign my name. I tend to write sloppy either way.

I still can't make a cursive z. o3o

I always write fast. I can't even understand my writing every now and then. Prinsive is a confusing writing type.

Caelus January 27th, 2009 6:09 PM

95% of the time I just print.
I personally don't like the way it ends out, especially with me having a hard time reading cursive.
I suppose I use it every once in awhile, like today.

Michii January 27th, 2009 6:31 PM

Slowwww print. I am OCD about how my letters work too. I'm relearning cursive from my friend who writes in it all the time, but I find it hard to study from. :/

>Feelings< January 27th, 2009 8:26 PM

My writing can be described 85% print and 15% cursive. It's like the ends of the print albhabets' getting curved round the end to join up sometimes, but nowhere near cursive.

The funny thing is, cursive writing, to my knowledge, was made for speed. But I remember the old times when no one could beat my speed. Cursive is also more messy looking than print most of the time, and print is required in some place, but cursive is not. Though it's true that, as fast as I say I am at writing speed, my handwriting is exactly that much ugly looking, but still legible.

icomeanon6 January 27th, 2009 8:51 PM

I'm not a fan of cursive at all. While I recognize how speedy it can be to write if that's what your used to, I think its lack of legibility outweighs its benefits. I write in print, albeit a slanted, hasty, slightly messy print, but it's still more legible than my cursive. It doesn't really matter that much anymore, because almost everything I turn in for school is typed and not handwritten. Fortunately, I can type pretty darn quickly.

Gummy January 27th, 2009 9:12 PM

I can barely read cursive, so I rarely write in it. In fact, I think the only time I write in cursive is when I'm signing my name. My print is a little sloppy but that's because I write very fast.

Blue_Drifblim January 27th, 2009 9:20 PM

I write in cursive and non-cursive. I'll write however I feel like at the moment, I guess. If I'm jotting something down, I'll print. If I'm just writing or something, I'll use cursive or print. Really no problem for me either way. Cursive makes things look good, though. :P I can write in cursive fast. It just seems to flow more.

Yrie January 28th, 2009 11:04 AM

I almost always write in cursive, though its hard to distinguish a few letters when I start writing faster (as in, it becomes more difficult to distinguish a from o and such.) *Points to profile picture* that's what my cursive looks like.

Rogue planet January 28th, 2009 11:10 AM

Always cursive. I've never done it any other way.

Sebastien Loeb January 28th, 2009 12:35 PM

My writing in cursive it is very bad, so very bad that would prefer not to speak of it.

Sammi January 28th, 2009 12:41 PM

Print. I can write a LOT faster in it, and for taking notes, I need speed. @[email protected];; Also, if I'm writing down stories on paper, I don't want to take ages to write, not when I can use another form and get it done in less time.

It doesn't help that my cursive is sloppy -- mostly becuase I don't write it in, I suppose.

Percy Thrillington January 28th, 2009 12:48 PM

I haven't written in print for about six years now. Cursive is so much faster and neater for me, there's no point switching back.

Cacttus January 28th, 2009 12:50 PM

My print writing is garbage especially when I'm using a pen, it flows to quickly, but I also hate writing with pencil so... ehh it'll stay garbage.

I can write in script when I'm bored it looks much better when I'm bored than when I'm actually told to concentrate and write correctly.
