Airport trouble

I'm on a iMac 10.4.11 and the signal from the router to the mac seems to always be low and near to none. It is definitely not a problem with the router because every other computer connected has a decent connection.

Just wanted to know how to sort out my airport connection because the macbook 10.4.8 that is just a few inches away has a good connection.

It could be old enough that it's just finally reached the end of it's life. (I'd just as soon run a cable from the computer to the router myself, but to each their own)

some things you can try are istumbler. This program can tell you how much signal you're getting as well as how much interference it has.

I'll continue to search and see if I can find anything else that seems to pertain to helping you.
