Story Presentation
I'm working on a fic write now, and I hope to make it a popular hit in the fanfiction section.
I was wondering, my story will be broken up into 'Sagas'. Like sections of the story. I also want to include bonus stories, from the plot. Should the Sagas and bonuses be in one thread, so that people can just select the thread and find them, or should they be split up into separate threads and I can keep track of the populaity of each of them? I need the people's opinon! |
Well, if each saga is itself split into separate chapters (which is most likely what you're thinking of doing, but just in case, you can correct me if I'm wrong here), it might be easier to keep them separate and do a table-of-contents link list at the beginning of each thread to link to each of the other parts of the story. That way, the readers won't be intimidated by the amount of reading we'd have to do (because it'll feel like we're reading something less bulky if it takes up a shorter page or fewer number of pages), and if we choose, we can just skip the bonuses and read the sagas.
Hope that helps and good luck. |
