Chaining Is Making Me Mad

Ok so yeah, tonight I looked up what is Chaining http://i42.*.com/2hov1vo.gifYa-da Ya-da,
I read the "How-to" 's and Turorials.. So yeah I wanted to try it out..
Well now I feel guilty that I cant do it Right,,
I think Im doing it Right??
Im Using the pokeradar.. only go after ones farthest from you but not on the edge of the grass. Only go after the same one as before(You choose sparkly to chain, use sparkly the whole time.) But the Dang thing.. I get up to between 12 and 18 Chain and Bam, ruined.

I dont see what im doing wrong

Chains are not perfect, they will unfortunately break. Sometimes sooner rather than later. Its not a guarantee that youll find a shiny but it just helps to improve your chances. Just keep at it.

Well it seems to work for everyone ealse:disappoin...
Its like no matter what it breaks and Ive been at it for like two hours now, I havnt gotten past 18:(

D'aw honey, it's okay.
It took me....alot of tries to get my first shiney. A Buneary. D ;
Did you ever look at any Youtube videos? They're more interesting than reading how-to's. 8 DD

Yeah *sniffle* I watched a very in depth one, and followed step by step... Nothing,...

Saddness now overwelms me, lol

Chaining takes a lot of practice and patience, so if you aren't patient with it, it'll get really frustrating. : / I tried it out, and never got a shiny, and just couldn't continue because I am not patient enough to do that for hours upon hours, even if shinies are cool.

Curt_09 February 27th, 2009 9:08 PM

I haven't tried it myself, I personally think it to be a waste of time.
Don't worry about it. Practice makes perfect ;)

gigabyte8877 February 27th, 2009 9:10 PM

Well yeah, I only started cuz I got on some trip I was gonna get all these shinys and set a PC Shop :P Well I guesss I was only having a moment, cause I dont wanna anymore, lol

Have you read every guide?

You're probably only making a small mistake, don't worry. :]

There's really no reason to go past 40, just keep resetting the radar at 40 and your chances are the same. Not that I'm poking fun or anything ^^

And it really is just practice. I made myself practice alot and now I find it almost easy.

There's already a thread on chaining. Use that.
