Riddles and Fudge!

Here's how it goes:

One person poses a riddle (not the joke kind, the puzzle kind), and the first person to solve it correctly gets virtual fudge. The winner is the one with the most fudge at the end of the contest, whenever that is. Anyone can pose a riddle, and anyone can solve a riddle. ^_^

Here's my first riddle:

It takes six men six days to dig six holes. How long does it take one man to dig half a hole?

I Laugh at your Misfortune! March 5th, 2009 3:27 PM

Trick question. There is no such thing as half a hole.

My Riddle (stolen from somewhere:P)

Thirty white horses standing on a red hill.
First they champ, then they stamp,
Then they stand still.

What are they?

Snow Phoenix March 5th, 2009 4:07 PM

That is easy... anyone who has read a certain book should know...

The awnser is teeth!

What do a kiss, bomb, and a flower all have in common?

basselope7 March 5th, 2009 4:44 PM

Sorry I was gone for a while, I had to go somewhere.

Correct, there is no such thing as half a hole. ^_^ I Laugh at Your Misfortune gets one fudge.

Nope that is incorrect! Do people keep guessing the riddles in play or once a guess is made should I reveal the correct awnser?

I'm still working on yours though Godot.

jigglyppuff8 March 5th, 2009 6:22 PM

Blown Kiss, blow on a flower, blow up?

Good guess, but it really isn't what was in mind and don't know how the blow on a flower works to well. There are a couple of flowers I can think of that would work for that and the awnser I had in mind works for all flowers. If you can come up with the awnser to this one you might be able to figure out how these riddles work. They work sort of like BAD jokes, but they're clever in a way.

Here's an easier one: What do a Tennis Player, a Waitress, and a Soldier all have in common?

~Poke~ March 6th, 2009 2:05 AM

They're people? I dunno...

I like TWEWY
I like Pokemon
I'm on a pokemon site
Who am I?

People keep guessing the riddles. The first one to guess correctly gets the point/fudge.

Here's a riddle:

A baby is born in Boston, Massachusetts. Her parents were both born in Boston, Massachusetts as well. The child is not a U.S. citizen. Why is this so?

Err...Basselope's one...is the whole family a load of illegal immigrants? :P

Your correct on mine though :P. BTW you never said if I had gotten the awnser to your riddle right or wrong yet.

But I said Boston, Massachusetts. I don't think there's a city and state named Boston, Massachusetts in any other country...

Do you want me to give the answer? If so, no fudge will be awarded for this question.

Snow Phoenix March 6th, 2009 5:40 PM

I'd know the awnser if it was Newyork XD. Is there some kind of land there that is inportant to the awnser or am I not allowed to ask that kind of question XD?

Spinor March 6th, 2009 5:42 PM

Well, it could also be that the baby was natural born without notice of any authorities and they fled to Canada...

Donnie March 6th, 2009 5:44 PM

uh ok i have no idea for any of the recent riddles XD
this was stolen from somewhere. :/

A cowboy rides into a town in Friday, he stays there for 3 days, then leaves on Friday. How is this possible? (no this ISNT a trick question and dont say IT ISNT! :/)

jigglyppuff8 March 6th, 2009 5:46 PM

The horse's name is Friday.

Correct! ^_^ One fudge for Sublime!

Hey, I noticed nobody else is counting their fudge. I'll be the official fudge counter, if you'll just give me a few seconds...

EDIT: Here's the current fudge count:

I Laugh at Your Misfortune: 2
FrozenSnowman: 1
jigglypuff8: 1
Sublime: 1

jigglyppuff8 March 6th, 2009 6:44 PM

You're trapped in a 4 sided room with only a mirror and a desk. How do you get out? No doors.

Donnie March 6th, 2009 6:46 PM

you touch the mirror and get transported into the nightmare version of the room where there is a way to get out?
Silent Hill...lol.

basselope7 March 6th, 2009 6:47 PM

Ooh, I know the answer, my sister told me this one and it is quite tricky ^_^ However, since I'm the host of this game, I can't earn fudge, so I won't say. ;)

Use the window?
You never said there weren't windows.
xD

Wait. Climb out the top?
Four sided= only walls. No roof.

I dunno, climb out of the room?
You never said there was a roof, just a room with four sides. >.>'

I have no idea about the tennis player, waitress, and solider one, I was gonna say the all serve..but...

jigglyppuff8 March 6th, 2009 6:50 PM

Darn it, should've worded it better. Not quite the answer I was looking for though.

Usagi-Chan~ March 6th, 2009 6:51 PM

You escape by looking at your dreamy reflection.

Four men sat down to play. They played all night till break of day. They played for gold and not for fun. With separate scores for everyone. When they had come to square accounts. They all had made quite fair amounts. Can you the paradox explain. If no one lost, how all could gain?
I stole it.

OokamiShipper March 6th, 2009 6:53 PM

Sorry, I guess I was too late.
Anyone have a new and possibly easier xD riddle?
I have one, but I forgot how it went.

EDIT: Okay, here's an extremly easy one, I'm practically giving away free fudge on this one. xD

There is a man with a match who needs to light up a heater, the oven, and the gas lamp, Which should he light first?

I "borrowed" this from somewhere, but I don't remember where, and I don't even think I said it right. xD

Gerri Shin March 6th, 2009 8:13 PM

I'd say the lamp, seeing as he can then relight the match from that.

here's another easy one.
where can you find a trunk that has nothing in it, yet cannot be filled?

Good guess, and logical, but no, not exactly the answer. I'm really sorry if the way I worded it was kinda vague...Dx

Uh, a hollow tree? Or just a tree.

Gerri Shin March 6th, 2009 9:04 PM

>.< I should've known that.
anyway actually a tree will work for mine, though I was thinking of an Elephant.

Spinor March 7th, 2009 12:36 AM

I have another one, I'm pretty sure any of you that dedicate to science will answer this good.

You are lost in a mansion being chased by zombies. You find yourself trapped in a room with only three other doors. One, you see filled with salvage angry gorillas, another you see hyper and super hungry crocodiles, and the last one with those ugly kinds of lions that haven't eaten in a year. Which one would probably be safest for you to enter?

moments. March 7th, 2009 3:37 AM

Jigglypuff8:
Look in the mirror and see what you saw. Use the saw to cut the desk into 2 halves. 2 halves make a whole. Crawl through the whole (hole) to escape!

Mary's mother has 4 children. The eldest is named North, the second eldest is named East and the youngest is named West. What is the name of the last child?

Micro March 7th, 2009 3:50 AM

Mary of course! ;>

Riddle
How many letters are in the alphabet?

basselope7 March 7th, 2009 4:54 AM

Current standings:

I Laugh at Your Misfortune = 2
FrozenSnowman = 1
jigglypuff8 = 1
Sublime = 2
moments = 1
Lollipop = 1

The one filled with lions because lions that haven't eaten in a year are dead XD.

LOLLIPOP Yours is either 8 or 11 depending on if you count the the before Alphabet.

A woman played with them and lost all of her money?

the bitter end. March 7th, 2009 8:55 AM

Four men were in a boat on the lake. The boat turns over, and all four men sink to the bottom of the lake, yet not a single man got wet! Why?

jigglyppuff8 March 7th, 2009 9:32 AM

They are all married. Not a single man.

boo836 March 7th, 2009 1:05 PM

Duh chuck norris clones

There was no water in the lake. Or there was a sinkhole in the lake or something. >_>

What creature walks on four legs at dawn, two at noon and three at dusk?

Oh! I've heard of this one before!
A person -
A baby crawls on four legs
An adult walks on two legs
An elder/old person walks on two legs and is propped on a cane

I think that was the answer.

They are all musicians, who played a concert/performance to earn money.

..Mary?

It says that the youngest is west, so there can't be a kid named "South" and it says "Mary's mother."

Azumi June 1st, 2009 4:58 AM

I've got a question here. I just copied it somewhere so people who know this... yeah.

Q: A black dog stands in the middle of an intersecton in a town painted black. None of the street lights are working due to a power failure caused by a storm. A car with two broken headlights drives towards the dog but turns in time to avoid hitting him. How could the driver have seen the dog in time?
