I am LUCKY

I got a Girl Eevee thats lucky

Frostweaver September 10th, 2004 8:58 PM

Ditto + Male Eevee = eventually Female Eevee

Save game + patience = eventually Female Eevee

Hope that it also got perfect IVs to be truly lucky ^^

Congrats! I'd always preferred a Female Eevee to a Male one.

doomsday_shadow September 10th, 2004 10:05 PM

its cool, but do you need to put a thread to say such a thing?! I know its rare, but...

Nessie September 10th, 2004 10:07 PM

Do you wanna know what is luck?.

I catch a shiny zubat on mt. moon, when i only had 2 hours in game, weeeehhh my luck is back,no need of this **throws his gameshark**, noo i better pick it back, im gonna need other things XD.

Casey September 10th, 2004 10:21 PM

I have a female Eevee too. Its nothing difficult only you have to be patient. I remember, in R/S I have got female Torchic as a starter. Luuuuuucky!!!! :P

Happy Dude September 10th, 2004 11:01 PM

i dosen't really matter u acn u just breed it on island 4

Nessie September 10th, 2004 11:31 PM

Well, i always care more about the ''nature'' of the pkmn, the gender is optional and you can always breed it with....DITTO!!! (the only thing he is good at XD).

True is that having the female , you save time to breed some moves.

Stevo-kun September 11th, 2004 6:14 AM

Dude that is lucky its probably 99% to 1% ratio for Eevee's

Absolute Zero September 11th, 2004 8:02 AM

I thought it was like 1 in 8 or something like that.

Neko Keeshi September 11th, 2004 8:06 AM

We do? Have a better aditude dude.....

Gardy September 12th, 2004 4:48 PM

how many tries did it take? I always think of eevee as a girl it looks lik a girl to me. >.<

Toothache September 12th, 2004 4:51 PM

Yeah, the odds for getting a female Eevee is 12.5%, or 1 in 8 if you're bad at maths. Same odds for getting a female starter. And yes, females are preferred for getting certain egg moves onto an Eevee (such as Wish) :-)

Desaparecidos September 12th, 2004 6:59 PM

i always think of an Eevee to be a boy. but if it evolves into an Espeon then a girl. lol

VanirElf September 13th, 2004 6:25 AM

it's not luck, everyone can get one.
all you gotta do is save your game right before you take the eevee
and if it's a boy reset and try again for a girl.
you can do that for the starters too

I got randomness though, my bulbasaur was a girl the first time
with a modest nature, and my eevee I had to try like 8 times to get
a female eevee

and yeah the ditto thing works...but who wants to breed with ditto???

Mr Cat Dog September 13th, 2004 9:44 AM

I WANT TO BREED WITH DITTO! o.o *cough* Ok.....

Anyways... it's not that great. Unless you really want egg moves for Eeveelutions, then they're not that great compared to males apart from Attract protection. Sure... it's great for bragging rights... it's just nothing that special really. Sorry :/

BigBoss September 13th, 2004 9:46 AM

When you get a pokemon in a event, there is a 12.5 percent for a female.

ryan September 13th, 2004 2:37 PM

it took me like 10 times to get a girl eevee, now my vaporeon's my strongest pokemon (so cool!) but i'm even luckier, i got a shiny ghastly

Undertaker the Deadman September 13th, 2004 2:40 PM

I found a shiny catepie..... caterpies are cool i'am not evolving it.....

ryan September 13th, 2004 2:52 PM

but shiny butterfrees look rad. so do shiny gengars *drools*

VanirElf September 14th, 2004 6:41 AM

man...I haven't gotten any shiny pokemon I haven't even seen any...
then again I haven't been EV training so that's probably it...I move around
too much to ever find one, but I'll start as soon as I start breeding.

...I want a shiny gastly that sounds like it'd look really cool.

but honestly I'd rather have a shiny misdreavus (I got a normal lookin' one)

ryan September 14th, 2004 2:00 PM

misdreavus is a rad pokemon... but i think the normal looks better the shiny is kinda weird: http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/pkrssh345.gif but, shiny gengar looks awesome: http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/pkfrlgsh094.png

I once caught a shiney Caterpie in Azalea woods in Crystal Versoin, and it evolved into a Pink Butterfree.
