Most useful pokemon in D/P/P

Whats your idea on Most useful pokemon!?

Also, If you want, include items that make it even more helpful!

My idea is Blissey, If you train it really well, It can have near 700 hp,
If you include leftovers, it rarely can get killed. I use it whenever I need time to revive pokemon, which takes many turns.

Whas your most useful pokemon?

Also, If you have the time, please level up the pokemon in my signature!
Arigato!

Haza March 15th, 2009 9:41 AM

A properly trained Gyrados with DragonDance and Leftovers. It can get you through the toughest battles After one DD and Earthquake against Electric types.

.Ozymandias March 15th, 2009 9:43 AM

At the moment my Porygon-Z is brilliant. His moveset (Ice Beam/Signal Beam/Discharge/Psychic) with leftovers is getting me through the battle tower to save up for the power items.

jigglyppuff8 March 15th, 2009 9:45 AM

Bibarel and Starly. HM slaves are always useful.

Ozzy March 15th, 2009 9:53 AM

wow Brilliant! I will try that with my Porygon-Z!

Hope you dont mind ^.^'

Fusktacular Frizzlee March 15th, 2009 9:54 AM

Bidoof and Bibarel r useful for Hm slaving oh and Tentacool

dotKarma March 15th, 2009 9:55 AM

An Empoleon is one of the best pokemon to face the Elite Four with in my opinion. And that's just with the moves it learns on it's own.

Cheers! March 15th, 2009 10:17 AM

I would have to say my Starmie.

It's a special sweeper, but it's moveset comes in handy (it learns moves that can beat almost any type), and it's pretty fast.

And I also agree with jigglyppuff8...lol!

I am a huge fan of HM slaves too! Very useful, almost as useful as my favs on my team!

Neutrino March 15th, 2009 10:23 AM

My Pikachu rocks! With a Thunder, raindance, volt tackle and surf combo, and holding light ball, it's nearly invincible! although not all the way!

Ru-Kun March 15th, 2009 10:30 AM

Well I have to say Vespiquen and Yanmega. Vespiquen can be really tough when Defense Order is used a lot and it can be really annoying. Yanmega well Yanmega is just reeeeeeaaaaaaallllllllllllyyyyyyyyyy fast.

Beckie March 15th, 2009 10:41 AM

Bibarel is my HM slave :3 Very useful at times

hvsep March 15th, 2009 10:50 AM

Bibarel's my HM slave too. XD

He lets me keep good moves on my other pokes. <3

Dark Azelf March 15th, 2009 11:02 AM

Most useful would have to be Deoxys imo. I mean its movepool is insane and it can pretty much be customized to your needs and do what ever you want it to, from sweeper, spiker and even lead.

Bronzong and Celebi are very useful too. ^-^

If its for ingame HM slave Biberel ftw. XD

"Shadow Lugia" March 15th, 2009 11:03 AM

My Mence is a complete monster when it comes to copetitive battles. I can sweep half a team without any setup.

PlatinumDawnFtw March 15th, 2009 11:08 AM

Competitivley the new rotom forms are very helpful.

And yeah hm slave bibarels are ftw.

Kerish March 15th, 2009 11:09 AM

In my idea, the most useful would be Smeargle because of it's uses for breeding and for HM Slaving.

firekid115 March 15th, 2009 11:13 AM

hmmm.....at the moment im using electivire to ev train my gabit through exp share,

and my electivire usually last me the longest through battles.

SilverTheIronKnight March 15th, 2009 11:45 AM

i think that a pretty high level heatran always works 4 me
the fire/steel combo was a good idea but he also has flash fire wich makes it stronger wen hit by a fire attack

inhisxeyes March 15th, 2009 1:27 PM

My Bibarel - puny, insignificant level - slave to my hidden machines.

Ozzy March 15th, 2009 1:57 PM

Im seeing a pattern here... Anyone else? ^.^

Sebastien Loeb March 15th, 2009 2:24 PM

For the most useful Pokémons I don't know if you report yourself to the competitive part of the game or no, however useful Pokémon can be Bronzong or Blissey or other wall but it depends a lot from as him it intends to use them.

(Dusty<3) March 15th, 2009 2:26 PM

My non slave Bibarel is actually very useful.
XD
The poor thing doesnt get much credit for being a decent battler when trained right. XD
If you think about it, it doesnt have a bad move pool. .x.

So that's one of them. Another useful Pokemon for me is my Wigglytuff.
I make everyone deff with Hyper Voice, then hit them with some other various move. x.x They can learn a lot of differently typed moves. Im not big on stats. Since I dont battle competitively, I like using Pokemon that everyone says "sucks".
XD

TwilightBlade March 15th, 2009 2:32 PM

I would say Bibarel is useful, but hey, Mew can learn any move. Either way, Garchomp is a true beast.

Glaceon_ March 15th, 2009 3:02 PM

A friend of mine uses his Vaporeon in a very effective way, but when you look at its moves, you can tell its has a solid weak point; other Water Absorbers. (not to mention Special-based Electric types) But when he's used it, he's almost always managed to pull through for the victory. (an example currently on my profile for reference)

Other than that, Glaceon can also be a very useful Pokemon; particularly against those pesky Dragon types. I've trained a few, but I've never actually used one in battle, yet... but soon!

Bibarel never gained any kind of usefulness outside of being a slave for HM moves, but it was useful, nonetheless.

Again with examples from my friend, Jirachi is quite a supporter; learns both screens and with Platinum, can learn Iron Head.

Smeargle is another good Pokemon; primarily for breeding Egg Moves, and such.
