I saw this thread and checked when it was last posted in. Since it's been a month (or maybe my counting is off? O.o Whatever, it's dead now.), I decided to revive it since it's funny to see people's Ctrl+Vs. =P
It'd probably be best if it wasn't planned, but, if you see something funny, feel free to place it here. =D
.............. urgh, I hate that sentence in that thread, and yet I just posted it for the first time.

Then, in Citizenship, some of the boys were throwing the eggs around. One got split in half, and the guy was like, "Bethan! Look what happened to Steve!" which made the whole class crack up. It wasn't Steve, though, I sat on him.

"Who are you?" asked a voice coming from the wind. Professor Banksia approached slowly. She was dressed in a long white lab coat, not unlike that of Professor Oak’s, and her long sea green hair was done up in a ponytail. Black boots protected her feet.
Oh, right, I had to copy/paste that so I could revise it for a friend.
In Gig Harbor, Washington, U.S. one middle school student was expelled and three were suspended on May 14, 2008 for having their own "Death Note" books. A father of one of the students said that the notebook was "an outlet for frustration from about two years of bullying."[72]
Oh, look at that. A news article I was showing my friend.

About the difference between a trader and a merchant -
A merchant is almost exclusively with money. For example, when you go to an armour shop and buy something, that man would techically be a merchant.
A trader is usually used with any other object being exchanged. For example, if you've ever played Okami (I can't think of a better example right now), there's a man willing to exchange items called "Demon Fangs". Demon Fangs are not the currency in the game (Yen is) so that would make him a trader (they call him a Demon Fang Collector, but since he's giving you the item for the Demon Fang... yeah). There's no real example I can think of in Golden Sun at the moment...
Okay, looking through another part of your site (I like doing things in random orders XD)
-Armours (GS1) looks good.
Looking at "Beginner's Guide (GS1)
Quote:
At first sight Golden Sun appears to be a quite complex game, and actually it's like that at the second one, too! Especially for a handheld RPG. A beginner may easily be overwhelmed by all the stuff many a time. But don't worry, as this site's going to give you some brief introductions to the various aspects of the games!
This is rather difficult to understand. I think what you mean is "At first glance, Golden Sun appears to be quite a complex game, especially for a handheld RPG. Actually, it's a lot like the second game, too!". Well, that's the best I could do.
Quote:
A bit of Geography: Golden Sun takes place in the world of Weyard, which is indeed flat, contrary to a popular belief. If one wants to dividee the world further there'll be seven continents, namely Angara, Gondowan, Indra, Osenia, Atteka, Hesperia and Tundaria, as well as some islands (see Weyard for those). There are several peoples in Weyard, with most of them living together in peace and harmony. Your journey in 'Golden Sun' will start in the town of Vale in the continent of Angara. It will lead you to all possible and impossible places in Angara and Gondowan!
In this text, you use "peoples" as a race. Peoples is only the plural of People if you are refering to multiple races, and this term is rarely used and is usally used in motivational speeches. However, if you meant it as the plural of people, synonymnous to "race", this is okay.
Quote:
Some peoples in Weyard possess magical abilities. Those are also known as "Adepts", their magic's called "psynergy". Normally the magical peoples let their abilities remain a secret amongst themselves, and it' not uncommon that a non-adept will be struck in awe when he sees the power of psynergy for the first time. In accordance with the theorx that the world consists of four elements there are also four types of adepts as the rulers of the elements: Venus Adepts of nature, Mars Adepts of fire, Jupiter Adepts of the winds and Mercury Adepts of the waters.
Okay, you are definately not using "peoples" as refering to races here. You should change it to just "People". When refering to a human being, people is plural, person is singular (English has tons of irregular plurals, it's all silly like that)
And even though "theorx" is an awesome typo, it should be "theory". (Theorx sounds sooooo awesome though XD)
Ruler suggests that these people have power over all of the element, or most of it. Wielders sounds better and goes with the theme more.
Quote:
Psynergy's the name for magic in Golden Sun. Every adept's got psynergy of his own elemental class at command, and as you're controlling adepts in the games you'll have acess to these astonishing abilities as well! You can do the most diverso things with them, be it for attacking, moving things or reading the minds of other people... there are barely any limitations! Your mental abilities aren't endless, but they're recovering automatically after being used. Through training (=higher levels) you'll even learn new or stronger versions of already existing spells!
You might want to explain to a beginner how Psynergy recovers. I.e walking around, inns, psynergy stones/crystals...
Quote:
The djinn are the elemental ones, the spirits of the elements. In compliance to the four elements there exist four types of djinn as well, each one representing their nature: there are Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Mercury djinn. They're the "keepers" of the elemental stars, and since those have been taken away from the Sol Sanctum, you'll find them scattered over all of Weyard, escaped from their old resting place!
This is phrased really unusually. "The djinn are elemental spirits." will probably float your boat, or you can even go as far as to say "The djinn are little creatures that hold a great elemental power.".
And they were the keepers of the elemental stars? Hm... I need to replay this part. It always seemed to me they were just resting there, then they were released.
Quote:
Each of the djinn possesses its very own power that you can use for yourself. In battle you can use them to attack the enemies with the djinn's might and damage them this way, but others may be able to unfold even more special powers, such as to let your opponent fall asleep. Others again may let you become temporarily stronger, heal a person or the whole group, and yet others do have further, even more special powers! They'll be of much help to you in the fights. Their powers are like an inexhaustible psynergy, only in a much more special way.
The only real problem here is that you litterally abuse the word "Special". Just say it once; you don't need to repeat it.
Quote:
Furthermore, all djinns have the ability to add themselves together into a mighty summons and let you call them! Mighty creatures will then come to your aid and badger the enemies. Occosionally they're so strong that the whole opposite row gets defeated in a single blow!
Djinn is plural, not Djinns. Which is odd because you said Djinn, Djinn, Djinn, Djinn, DJINNS?! lol
The second part is really oddly worded. "work together to summon mighty creatures against your foes!" is better.
Badger... nice word but doesn't suit this here. Badgering is doing something subtle constantly (like a 3-year old bothering his/her mother by asking "Why?" "Why?" "Why?" constantly). You want something like "inflict massive damage on".
Occasionally is the proper spelling.
Quote:
Whatever you may want to have, outside of the battles the djinn menu will be of use you, in it you'll be able to manage your found djinn. For this, press "Select" or "A" and choose "Djinn" then. Here you might want to move the djinn back and forth as well as change their status. That's especially important for classes.
"No matter what" is what you mean here.
Saying "your found djinn" sounds really odd. "your current djinn" is better.
Quote:
A djinn can have two different types of status within your group: he can be set, be on Standby or currently recovering. Only set djinn have an effect on your class, further on only that way you'll be able to use their individual powers in a battle. When doing the latter they'll switch to Standby. Now they can be set again or be summoned. If you decide to summon them they'll have to recover for a while afterwards, during that time they're not usable. The right combination of all these points make up a good battle strategy!
Djinn are male?! Usually they are considered neuter.
Start a new sentence. "You can use set djinn to unleash their individual powers in battle.".
After the summon bit, you should mention that "Don't worry! They are only like this temporarily and are back in set within a few turns or steps!"
Quote:
At first you can choose whether you want to fight the appeared enemies or to flee from them. You'll lose nothing in the case of escaping, but unfortunately it won't always work! Especially fleeing from the very strong enemies might often fail, against boss enemies it's not even possible at all. If you'd like to know your characters' state of health before deciding you can also simply choose the third point here. And should you decide to fight a new menu will pop up!
Make this one sentence. "You'll lose nothing in the case of escaping, but unfortunately it won't always work; trying to flee from especially strong enemies often fails ect. ect.
"third selection to check your stats". It may sound redundant, but it's important to stat that the button is called "Status" or "Stats" or whatever (can't recall exactly at the moment)
Quote:
Choose this and you'll attack with the weapon you're wielding currently (or your fists when there's none to speak of...) Sometimes you might achieve a critical hit. And should your weapon also possess an unleash, then this one might probably unfold now when you're about to attack!
You may want to say "Then this power may be released to have an even more powerful attack!"... mainly because the unleash IS your attack, not something before your attack (which is what your implying).
Off Topic: And when Ivan attacks with his fists, it looks like he's beating the living crap outta whatever he's hitting - moreso than anyone else (you'd think Garet... but NO!)
Quote:
This point allows you to use the character's learned psynergy. By definiton you can only use psynergy intended for battling, but virtually no psynergy usable on the overworld. Every psynergy has a certain range in which it hits. Use that one wisely to damage even large groups of enemies!
Not entirely sure why you're using the word "point" here. "Selection" is a better choice.
And I'm spent.
Wow. Something I wrote for proofreading for a online friend - he recently translated his site from German to English, and I'm making sure everything's going well.
