Should I catch Giratina in a Poke Ball or Dusk Ball?

Normally I ALWAYS catch all my Pokemon in regular, good ol' fasioned Poke Balls, but I was thinking that maybe I will cantch Giratina in a Dusk Ball, Dialga in a Timer Ball, and Palkia in maybe a Luxury Ball...what do you think?

I always match my ball with the Pokemon. That is why Mesprit/Azelf is always so hard to catch.

Dusk Ball but its harder because u an no longer find him in a cave. Ghost Pokemon always look best with the Dusk Ball.

The Distortion World is considered a dark place, so you still get the 4x bonus from Dusk Balls.

I don't really think you need our opinion on what you want to use to catch Giratina. It's whatever you feel is best, and easier. But if you do want an opinion, then here: Personally, I'll use a Dusk Ball or an Ultra Ball to catch it, but I may also try to get it with a Quick Ball. Just remember, though, if you do try a Quick Ball, it only works better for the first 5 turns of a battle. If you decide use a Timer Ball, make sure it's like, 10 or more turns after during the battle.

so you can see a neat effect when sending them out

effects you can not acheive via ball capsules

At 5x turns, the Quick Ball is still 50% more effective than the Ultra Ball. At 10x turns, it is equal. At 15x, it becomes the same as the Poke Ball.

At 10x turns, the Timer Ball is the same as an Ultra Ball. At 20x turns, it becomes 50% more effective, and at 30x turns it becomes equal efficiency as the Dusk Ball.

Right, that makes the Timer Ball pretty useless IMO. Giratina only has 30 PP total. That means while you'd be unsuccessfully trying to catch Giratina, and only after it has started using Struggle will the Timer Ball be at all practical.

Half its attacks are Ghost-type, so you can essentially wall it with a Normal-type. Heck, my Ambipom used Tickle so much that even my weaksauce Luxray could take that Shadow Force thing.

Since this should have been asked in the Q&A thread, I'll close it now. But the best thing to do is just catch it in any ball you see fit. It also depends whether your needs are to catch it easily or just for aesthetic reasons.
