ev training help
feel free to move this if it is in the wrong place
so i know every thing about ev training but theres a few thing that baffle me the first: iv got a level 1 charmander that i want to ev train but its level 1 so i keep getting crushed by a lode of gastly. how do i train it up without effecting its ev's. the second: umbreon-lvl 64 hp-195 atk-112 def-190 sp atk-90 sp def-176 spd-97 thats my umbreons stats at level 64. i need to know its evs. if someone could tell me that would be great and could you also tell me how you found out its evs thank you so so much |
Since this should have gone in the Q&A sticky at the top of the page, I'll answer this for you and then get me padlocks out.
The best way to level up your Charmander without affecting it's EVs is to put it in the daycare. When it's in there, it won't get any EVs. Keep it in there until it's Level 10 - 15 and the withdraw it. But make sure to withdraw it every so often if it currently has Egg Moves you don't want the Daycare to delete. And there is no way to tell how many EVs a Pokémon has if you haven't been keeping track of them. The best thing to do would be to grow some of the EV reducing berries and keep feeding them to your Pokémon until they don't have any effect. *locks* |
