*Milotic
*Feraligatr
*Blastoise
*Swampert
*Gyarados

Feel free to suggest/add your own WATER POKEMON.

Well, here i am again, waiting for a reply!

P.S. = I guess the most Beautiful BUT Annoying Pokemon when attempting to get one in the Games is Milotic, don't you agree?

True Reign April 7th, 2009 7:50 AM

There is no 'best water-type Pokemon', but if I had to choose, I would choose Swampert because of it's massive defensive powers. Not only can it do that, but it could attack if need be.

Lycaeus April 7th, 2009 7:54 AM

Crocanaw hands down ^^
Idk, I have a thing for middle evos xD

Madaara April 7th, 2009 8:42 AM

Gyarados, The best offensive water pokemon in the game, close contender would be Swampert. Which is why i like them both but Swamperts back of the head image is so ugly :[.

Best pure water pokemon i would say is Vaporeon.

BenjiTheKid April 7th, 2009 9:20 AM

Gyarados is best when it comes to attacks and offense; hands down.

I'd have to say that Vaporeon is best when it comes to looks. Golduck coming in a close second. I don't like too many water Pokemon, though... so...

GuruIPB April 7th, 2009 12:25 PM

Milotic is my fav. water type

Lily! April 7th, 2009 12:36 PM

Milotic is my favorite water type of all others. :)
Vaporeon is up there too.

Kokuo April 7th, 2009 1:45 PM

I'd say Swampert. Having only one weakness, awesome defenses, and a good moveset can make it a force to be reckoned with.

wolf April 7th, 2009 1:52 PM

Gyarados competitively, while Swampert and Vaporeon (I love Wish <3) is close. Other than competitive, Empoleon, Golduck, Wailord, or Swampert. =3

CrazyCubone April 7th, 2009 2:38 PM

For me, this is all based on looks. Mudkip, Squirtle/Wartortle/Blastoise, Milotic, and who can forget, Psyduck.

lolwut April 7th, 2009 3:18 PM

Blastoise just because i just love the kanto starters, and i usually pick blastoise in my games if i dont pick charizard and i just always find that he always is good

shanecdavis April 8th, 2009 5:40 PM

Kyogre is far and away the greatest Water-type in the game.

Outside of uber Pokemon, it is Swampert. Gyarados might be better offensively on the competitive-side, it blows as an in-game Pokemon. Swampert has versatility that no other Water-type can offer. Having both STAB Water AND Ground attacks is unparalleled.

OokamiShipper April 8th, 2009 5:44 PM

I'm a big fan of water Pokemon. :3
I love all of them, but I think I love Vaporeon the most. ^^

Jrhunter0000 April 8th, 2009 7:12 PM

wee187 April 8th, 2009 7:13 PM

DrCoolSanta April 9th, 2009 3:09 AM

It is Water/Flying -_-. It learns dragon moves but it is not >>

And my favourites are Swampert, Gyarados, Milotic

dutchmuffin77 April 9th, 2009 3:14 AM

i would say it is between feraligatr and blastoise.

Queen April 9th, 2009 3:59 AM

Marshtomp is the best water pokemon.

Richard Lynch April 9th, 2009 4:07 AM

Water has always been my second favorite type of Pokemon, next to Steel.

There are a couple amazing water Pokemon:

Milotic would have to be my favorite. She can wall like you wouldn't believe, and her offensive powers aren't too shabby either, considering she makes a better duel wall than anything else.

Starmie is one of the more dreaded special sweepers in the game; she can easily OHKO half of the most commonly used sweepers. And to add to that, she's bulky enough to take a hit when she needs to.

But I must say, as far as overall amazingness goes, I would have to vote Swampert. That thing has demolished my team on more than one occasion. It's got amazing defense, decent special defense (if EV'd right, it can take almost any non-Grass type special attack), and it has a STAB Earthquake to back it up, and anyone who is in competitive battling knows how nice that is.

Those are, in my opinion, the top three water Pokemon. Vaporeon needs a mention too, simply because it can be so damn annoying in trying to take down when played right, but I haven't used her enough to really comment.
