Egg With 100% of Being Shiny

Tested and works.
I didn't post in the shiny discussion because barely anyone reads or posts there.
Video Tutorial

Here is a rough outline of the steps you need to take. I suggest watching, that includes listening to the tutorial.

- Obtain 5 Pokemon in your party.
- Obtain Poketech apps 6 (Happiness Checker) and 15 (Coin Toss)
- Synch DS clock to some other clock.
- Set app to #5.
- Reset game.
- Note the time when you hit "Continue".
- Insert data into RNG Reporter.
- Catch a Pokemon.
- Calculate IVs and Nature, input data.
- Hit "Find".
- Adjust settings in RNG Reporter. (See video)
- Hit Generate
- Do the taps/coin flips
- Put parents in
- Get egg

People who have done it and got positive results:
- Pokerealm : Most here do not know him for he goes to another forum. But he is a highly respected shiny hunter. He is Shinyhunter on YouTube. I have seen him do it, via webcam. If you do not believe me ask him yourself.
- The person in the video. :P

Thanks to mingot, jonny, and Pink at Smogon.

I have requested approval from multiple staff members, all ignored it. So screw it and here is the thread.

Thats too way much work =(

Working Class Hero April 7th, 2009 3:11 PM

I'd rather do that than SR for a shiny starter. The work is worth it.

Well that was a great way to hack platinum. I must say platinum now has become my favorite pokemon game. Only for this.

I wouldn't call it hacking, per say. Glitch, maybe. Depends on one's definition. But yes, this makes Platinum win. You can now get every Pokemon shiny except legendaries. Phione (though not legendary) you can get. It might work for the Manaphy.

You're influencing the data with an external object, which is hacking in a lot of people's books.

But a glitch allows you to. This isn't the place for this discussion though.

People should start doing this, in order to prove it more.

What the two posts under it said. << >>

You dont influence the game at all. The program just tells you what to do to get a shiny basically.

In what is described, there is no external device used on a game cart or the DS.

We DO have the Official Shiny Thread for a reason. You've been around long enough to know that.
