Big O
Furi Kuri
Azumanga Daiou
Lucky Star
Ghost in the Shell
Gundam (Some of them..)

That's all that comes to mind right now.

There are some others that I don't care to see or read, EVER.
But I won't list them, since I haven't seen them.

Phanima May 3rd, 2009 4:27 PM

Does every single anime count? (>3>)

Nah, there are a few good ones and there's not really any I can't stand, it's just that I don't think I'll ever watch some of them unless I have absolutely nothing to do. In general, anime adaptions of long running series are my fandom's kryptonite.
  • Air Gear
  • Beck
  • BLEACH
  • Clannad
  • Code Geass
  • D.N.Angel
  • Excel Saga
  • Fate/stay night
  • Grenadier
  • Inuyasha
  • Kemeko DX
  • Mobile Suit Gundam
  • Naruto
  • School Days
  • Soul Eater
  • The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
  • Vampire Knight
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
Those are off the top of my head, although I should note that some of their manga counterparts I read, seeing as how it's original and just a lot faster.

pidge14 May 3rd, 2009 4:35 PM

witch hunter robin. ugh so awful. i gave that a serious chance too.

Vernikova May 3rd, 2009 4:35 PM

Code Geass
Naruto
Dragon Ball
Ghost In The Shell
Inuyasha
Lucky Star
Gundam
Rave Master
Descendants of Darkness
School Days

These are just general series, franchises, etc. I'm probably forgetting some shows right now as well.

IloveKoizumi May 3rd, 2009 4:39 PM

I really can't stand any anime that is similar to Lucky Star and other 'cutesy' ones with chibis and squealing school girls. Ugh, ..

Reina May 3rd, 2009 4:43 PM

Pani Poni Dash (O.o Its really WTF.)
Gurren Lagann (Only because of the constant references to it I hear made me hate it..)
Dragon Ball Z (TOO STRETCHED OUT. And HORRID plot.)
Yugioh (Also too stretched out.)
Naruto (See: Above 2)

Thats about it.

Kenshin5 May 3rd, 2009 4:45 PM

Pretty much just Bobobobo seemed to me there was no plot what so ever supposedly there was according to some people but that plot is way above me then.

revelp8 May 3rd, 2009 5:36 PM

Bobobo
School Days
Naruto
Code Geass
Chaos Head
Suzuka
Macross Frontier
Gundam 00
Vampire Knight

Finnel May 3rd, 2009 8:26 PM

Lucky Star - Little girls who are supposedly 18 walking around making cuh-raaazy japanese culture references and attempting to do humor without a plot, for 24 episodes. What do you mean it's not a show for pedophiles and retards?
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Decent anime worshipped by too many people as some kind of work of god. Dislike Haruhi? omg ur just jelous.
Code Geass - Terrible plot, terrible characters, terrible character and mecha designs, all around pretty damn terrible anime. Oh, everyone loves it. Ok.
Gundam 00 - Extremely feminine guys to the point where I thought all of them were lesbians, flying around in their pink mechas trying to be good guys when it turns out they're terrorists in the end. This is a great idea.
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - Kind of okay crap GAINAX pooped out because they needed more money. OMG BELIEVE IN ME WHO BELIEVES IN YOU XDDD GIGAAA DRIIIILLL BREAKAAAAAAAAAAAR >=D
I hate fans.
Fate/Stay Night - Half-decent plot. Terrible, TERRIBLE characters. Apparently it's the best thing Nasu has ever written.
Vampire Knight - Twilight: The Movie: The Animation.
Air Gear - Hmm, this thing has a pretty neat concept, I wonder what i- Oh, pantyshots and poopie jokes everywhere. Great.
Kanon - I don't mind CLANNAD and Air, but this one is just... Bad. Half-recycled plot for all five girls, terrible art, (the original) and one of the worst lead heroines ever. Am I cute uguu? XD

Probably more, can't think of them right now.

Azumi May 4th, 2009 6:44 AM

Ninku - What the f- What's the point of this anime? Just some ninjas using the wind and crappy stuff?
Naruto - There's too many filler episodes. I mean, you just talk about Sasuke's past and you need 3 episodes before you get to the main plot? Damn.
Gundam (EVERYTHING ABOUT IT) - Oh, some mechas (I like the mechas, though...) flying around space and killing everyone off? Oh, no, no thanks, Bandai. As much as I like the mechas, the plot makes it ugly. Uuuuuugh.

And...
FullMetal Alchemist - They killed off Maes Hughes and almost made me cry. This is a joke.

EDIT: Ah, I forgot.
Dragon Ball - DON'T ASK. I mean it.

devilicious May 4th, 2009 10:25 AM

lol Makku, the way you talk makes it seems like you hate the fandom only, not the anime themselves.

Anyway;

Naruto - It's just so overrated. I mean, I don't think it's the worst thing ever coinceived, but it's nowhere near good. And all the characters suck.
Vampire Knight - Basically what Makku said, except it's even worse than the Twilight series.
Neo Genesis Evangelion - Again, waaaaay overrated. There are very few things to like about this anime, and if you managed to watch until the end, you weren't rewarded with a good ending at all. It's not open, it's not definite, it's just messy and stupid.

I guess that's it basically. I'm not a hateful person when it comes to anime- there are many series I dislike, but these three are the only ones (that I can think of right now) I can't stand.

What's so bad about Serial Experiments Lain? =(

I don't really understand the level of hype around a couple of series - Naruto, One Piece and Bleach instantly come to mind. I've also given Code Geass a try in the past, and was really uninterested in it. Perhaps unfortunately for me it would appear to be the Twilight of anime, and I'll now be flamed for it. =|

Evilyn May 4th, 2009 10:39 AM

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - I actually gave it a chance and I still regret it. I'd rip my eyes out if I had to watch it again. :|
Vampire Knight - Twilight clone.

Legobricks May 4th, 2009 4:18 PM

  • The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
  • Shakugan no Shana

Frustrating female leads.

BHwolfgang May 4th, 2009 4:44 PM

  • Loveless - Sorry, but I'm not into that piece of.... trash.

Seriously, some of my girl friends want me to read that stuff. [/shivers]

Naruto

That's about it for the ones that REALLY bother me.

Lucent May 4th, 2009 4:52 PM

Oh, my, you're probably gonna kill me for this, but...

-Naruto: Too popular, too many fillers, etc.
-Furuba/Fruits Basket: Same reason, minus the fillers part, plus, I'm more of an action person now says the one who watches Kodomo no Jikan
-Practically any Mecha Anime: I just don't like mechas, though I'll continue to watch Gurren Lagann.

Practically any Mecha Anime

Well then, I guess I must be a pariah for actually liking those.

In any case, I'm actually quite tolerant of most anime. Of the series I've seen, there are only a few that I genuinely can't stand:
  • Fruits Basket
  • InuYasha
  • Naruto
  • One Piece
  • Ouran High School Host Club
  • The Dragon Ball and Pokémon franchises
There are also other shows that I won't touch simply on general principle alone, but I won't go into those.

Underoos May 4th, 2009 4:55 PM

As for Anime, my top would be the filler parts in Naruto. They just piss me off because:
A: They have NOTHING to do with the friggin' series!
B: It makes up things about some of the character's pasts that aren't even true
C: Sometimes it messes up the story
So yeah...I love Naruto though (the manga I mean) don't get me wrong :) The anime just bugs me sometimes with all the fillers. Otherwise, I guess I don't mind it too much.

Loki May 4th, 2009 5:44 PM

I think the only anime I really don't like is The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, but even then, if my friends want to sit me down and watch an episode of it, I'm not going to go off and kill someone.
It's just not really the type of series I'd watch on my own. I have to be socially forced to watch it. Just didn't manage to catch my attention after the seven, gruelingly long and suffering episodes I actually did watch.

I'm not too fond of the Dragon Ball series anymore either, but that, along with Fruits Basket, are both ones that I can sit through without feeling like I'm wasting my time.

Ones that I don't mind, but just can't bring myself to watch?: Inuyasha, Neo Genesis Evangelion, Bobobobo whatever and a few others.

Pretty sure K-ON is getting higher up on my list of "STFU" anime's, along with Haruhi and Lagann. (Basically animes that people just need to stop talking about altogether, because it's so annoying that I can't even force myself to watch them anymore. It's like, take a hint. I'm not interested. xD)

HoneyBubbles May 4th, 2009 6:14 PM

Tee-hee. Ranting time~
There are many more, but these are the big ones.

Naruto - Boring. Overrated. Annoying fanbase. -harsh-
Lucky Star - Pretty much for the same reason as Naruto.
Vampire Night - Okay. I've never actually seen this, but the whole mood of the manga/anime really turns me off.
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - "Decent anime worshipped by too many people as some kind of work of god. Dislike Haruhi? omg ur just jelous" - Makku summed it up nicely.
Inuyasha - I'm not going to explain why.
Tsuabsa Chronicles - But of course. I'm a rabid Tsubasa Reservoir Chonicle manga fan. But the anime = ew.

Lol, whats wrong with you? I happen to like Dragonball Z and its been called an awesome anime of the action genre.

I personally can't stand Fruits Basket...my friends made me watch the first episode for like 10 times but i just dont like it, I mean why in the world is a girl living with chinese zodiacs who don't like to get hugged by girls and why is an orange cat so cute.

Now the anime Nuku Nuku Dash, that's good stuff right there =D

thedestinedblade May 4th, 2009 8:02 PM

Naruto (Anime only though)
Dragonaut
Lucky Star
Death Note
Excel Saga

I'm forgetting a lot, but those are the ones I can think of at the moment. You can also add just about every Harem anime to that list as well.

Wings Don't Cry May 4th, 2009 9:18 PM

Naruto (Anime sucked but manga good)
Gundam (All except for original)
Neon Genesis Evangelion (Shinji's such a gay emo)
Pokemon (500+ episodes of filler, love the manga)
Code Geass (I don't see the big deal about it)
Tytania (Same as Code Geass)
School Days (First episode was good but the guy just got too creepy in every other episode)
Avatar (Why do people class this as an anime)
Love Hina (I just don't like it)
70% of Mecha Animes

Fanbases ruin everything. =(

Also I forgot one:
Tales of the Abyss - To be fair, it is a pretty true adaption of the original game. Too bad the original game had two of the worst main characters in history and the story was just a huge mess with backtracking and sidetracking EVERYWHERE. Art's pretty ugly as well.

digi-kun May 7th, 2009 10:33 AM

Truth be told, most anime I can't stand are more of I can't stand the fanbase, since the anime usually aren't half bad, it's more the fans overhyping it and kinda making me hear about how so and so anime is the best anime ever and that stuff. I will, however, put something i actually can't stand because of both getting tired of it and the fanbase of it.

Full Metal Alchemist DVD 01 - No, seriously, stop showing this over and over to me ><

Zebra Thunderhead May 7th, 2009 11:04 AM

I can't stand:

Full Metal Alchemist
Bleach (the anime, I don't mind the manga)
Naruto
Avatar
Gundam (all except G Gundam)

Mainstream ftl.

.inLOVE May 7th, 2009 11:23 AM

Does Avatar even qualify? XD

I also hate fan-based.

devilicious May 7th, 2009 11:35 AM

Oh yeah, adding one more:

Soul Link: I managed to watch about three episodes of this but what the hell. It was bad directed, the seiyuus felt unmotivated and the animation is probably one of the worst I've ever seen.

Stellar May 7th, 2009 11:41 AM

Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, and Pokemon.
One Piece and Naruto are probably the bane of my existence. I watched a bit of Bleach but it just wasn't for me, and Pokemon was just AWESOME up until after the Johto league. Seriously, I feel like they're maiming my childhood these days. ._.

Corvus of the Black Night May 7th, 2009 11:48 AM

I don't watch a lot of anime, but I cannot stand:
Pokémon. With characters this flat, would you even want to stick with the series? Total unoriginality.
Matantei Loki: Ragnarok. Truth be told, I didn't 100% hate it, it just had no general storyline, which annoyed the crap out of me. It was more like a collection of events. Episode 10 and Yamino are some of my favourite anime scene/characters though...
Naruto. No. Just. No.

gavojo May 7th, 2009 4:17 PM

I dont like:
-Furi Kuri ... NO... I hate it....
-Ghost In The Shell...Also hated... I do not understand it
-Dragonball Z...Not sure why I don't like it ^_^
-Bobobo Bobo Bobo Bo...RETARDED...Especially name...

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Haruhi is so god damn annoying!! T_T
Naruto - I just don't get it.
Avatar - I wouldn't even count as a anime.

That's all I can think of that I cannot stand to watch.

Azonic May 7th, 2009 5:46 PM

One Piece
Dragonball-Z
Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

The creators of all of the aforementioned deserve to swallow a plastic bag.

I don't really watch much else. I'm not big on anime.

No anime should last more than 500 episodes and have the exact same plot thru the whole thing.

Pokémon, Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist, Naruto, (insert anime here where female characters are pure eye candy)......

Andcetera May 9th, 2009 3:40 PM

I cant stand Naruto.
The plot isnt at all very good, the characters are hella annoying, and most of all the fanbase is HUGE and full of horrible lil weaboos.

My new favorite ranter is right here.

I disagree with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya though "ur just jealous". I thought it was a funny series, a little more than decent in my eyes.

Oh yeah, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I can't stay awake for 10 minutes of this show let alone an entire episode.

¡No Hablo Inglés! May 11th, 2009 11:57 PM

Naruto - Every reason that's already been mentioned. =/
Bleach - I watched a couple of episodes but just couldn't really get into it, not particularly bad, just not my kind of anime.
One Piece - I really don't have a reason for not liking this, it's just that simple, I don't like it.
Gundam/Any mecha anime - I've never really had an interest in giant robots beating each other up, or shooting each other or whatever.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX/5D's - I didn't really mind the original series, but when the original characters were gone, so was my interest in the series.

That's all I can really think of at the moment, I might edit in a couple more if I remember any.

  • Pokemon: for lack of any significant change in formula since the FIRST season.
  • Naruto: for all the fillers, but I love the manga.
  • Bleach: exactly the same as above.
  • Code Geass: I tried watching this anime, and although the plot wasn't horrible, the character designs got on my nerves. No one's neck should be that long. And it doesn't help that everybody and their mother had a Code Geass sig when it was more popular.
  • Lucky Star: I don't see how anyone living outside of Japan can enjoy this, let alone get a good laugh out of it.
  • Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds: You soil the name of Yu-Gi-Oh almost as much as GX.

ShadowSkitty94 May 13th, 2009 5:10 PM

I can't stand Wedding Peach, Naruto, or Pokemon.

As for Yu-Gi-Oh...blech. o_0

Pyrax May 14th, 2009 12:18 PM

Bakugan Battle Brawlers
Pokémon season 6+
One Piece
BOBOBOBOBOBOBOBOBO (whatever this show's called)
Avatar (it's not even an anime)

Crystal Clair May 14th, 2009 10:56 PM

Mostly Naruto because it clogs the internet (like Youtube) with junk. Now I can't even try it to see if I'd actually like it because it's gotten such a bad image in my head. I did see a little of it once and thought it was too dumb.

I also don't like Azumanga Daioh. It's a good anime, I'd actually say it's a classic, but after I watched Lucky Star, I realized that I just couldn't enjoy it due to how I couldn't relate to it. Oh yeah and Lucky Star has FAMILY! The writers actually managed to write the family into the serious and give them plots. Plus the colors in the show are so pretty and the whole setting seems like such a Barbie world, with the pink school and uniforms and all.

Yu-Gi-Oh GX. Urgh. Can't stand it. >.> It deviates so far from the original Yu-Gi-Oh, it pains me to watch it.

fenyx4 May 15th, 2009 8:22 PM

Avatar: The Last Airbender - That abomination to anime used to be decent...but I still don't like it much. The term "Avatar" is used misleadingly; I thought it was the main character's name (who's actually known with the more retarded name of "Aang" - makes my mouth feel weird even uttering it), and I didn't even know "avatars" existing in real life (I think I was in elementary school when I first heard about it.) And some kid once had the audacity to say it's better than Naruto... Pshh!! In its crappy dreams, maybe! Not in reality, that's for sure.

Bakugan Battle Brawlers -
only a smidge of the song and some of the Bakugan are decent; otherwise, it's terribly made. The actual series is worse, comprised of characters with repulsive hairstyles (i.e., that little blonde boy who looks like a pseudo-ripoff of Max from Pokemon), uninspired monsters (i.e., the Max-clone's Bakugan), convoluted rules (at times like these I love Yu-Gi-Oh!/GX/5Ds's simplicity and awesomeness), and a poor plot (the only way cards fall out of the sky in a large mass like that is if a WarGreymon arrives on the scene and decimates a helicopter full of cards, in my opinion).

Dinosaur King
- ugly-looking dinosaurs beating each other up. In virtually EACH episode. Woo-hoo. :cer_sneeze: Only good part is that the awesome Veronica Taylor's in it...

Pokemon (partially)
- IMO, the anime was peaking until Pokemon Advanced, where things started to decline. (except the awesome theme songs of the Adv.Generation series:D) I still like a few episodes from that generation and even in the DP series, but the script is getting way too competitive. Some fanfics probably would help it a lot! Here's hoping the Pokemon anime returns to form in the future (and revamps the currently-horrid Galactic Battles theme!)

Yu-Gi-Oh! Original/GX (partially) - only reason is because GX did not even finish fully in the U.S., and it eventually completely deviated from the oft-advertised "duel school" concepts, which I thought was intriguing at first. It even had the guts to rip off of WInged Dragon of Ra, Slifer, and Obelisk!

With the original YGO, the only reason is because the plot is supposed to be pretty subpar (it's just dueling sugarcoated with a decent plot, basically!) but it's still fun to watch! Maybe it's because of Yami Yugi/Atem's awesome VA, Dan Green!

DBZ/GT - The much of the original DragonBall I've read so far is hilarious! But for the latter part of DBZ and the majority of GT is just buffed-up Saiyans charging energy, releasing said energy via attacks, and flying all-over. You've seen one Ki-blast, you've pretty much seen the majority of, if not all of, the DBZ/GT series. Again, not supposed to be too intriguing, but it still is! :P

I used to hate Bo x7, but I got used to the really abstract humor later on; it was slightly OK, I guess.

One Piece - only because Zolo's Funimation voice (awesome dubbers, btw) is awful! The version I heard at least, don't know if it has improved by now. He's not that old...right?

My taste for mecha-oriented anime is diminishing; you can only do so much with giant robots these days (the ones in Power Rangers look awesome, though). The last mecha anime I've read is Jinki: Extend...it was good, since the last time I've seen it. But maybe that's because of the interesting character design plus the hot female pilots of the Jinki...

This is what I remember for now, but the three that I majorly despise with a passion are Dino King, BBB, and that Avatar nonsense. *sighes* And any crappy/poorly-made 12-episode-esque anime that wastes materials that could be used to further other franchises. For example:

NARUTO FTW! Yeah, I said it! But I'm not a Narutard, rather, I am a Narultimate Hero! :P :t038:

--Naruto (I honestly tried to watch episode 1 and gave up, it was so confusing)
--Lucky Star (fell asleep in the middle of the first episode)

Ninjas wearing flashy clothes, not sneaking and using magic to battle. Yup.
Ninjas are cool.

Obscure anime references, sometimes aimed at people my mothers age (well, at least she understood some references, which seems to be a good start.)
Also lesbian undertones, which will ALWAYS find a decent number of fans.

bewbs May 22nd, 2009 9:22 AM

I have yet to find an anime I hate.

ShadowLeader May 22nd, 2009 11:02 AM

Trinity Blood.....
thats about it.....
i generally like most anime..

Dunsparce May 22nd, 2009 11:38 AM

I forgot one:

Sonic X
The only Sonic-related things I Don't despise with all my being are the Master System games and Sonic 1-3 for Sega Genesis

Yay! Finally someone else who feels the same as I do. Normally whenever I say Adult Swim anime sucks I get yelled at, like saying I'm more of a Harry Potter girl in front of a bunch of pre-pubescent twilight fans with hardcover copies of the books. O_O

Ashitaka May 22nd, 2009 7:45 PM

Seems like most of the popular shonen series annoy the heck out of me (Naruto, Bleach, Dragonball Z, Yu-Gi-Oh! etc.)

And I have to add most of the post-Johto Pokemon to this, it's just gotten...ugh. I usually end up liking most of what I watch, mainly just because I carefully research series before I bother to get into them, but with everyone spazzing of Haruhi Suzumiya I figured it HAD to be good and ended up not even being able to watch two episodes of it.

No anime should last more than 500 episodes and have the exact same plot thru the whole thing.

So sad, but true.

I remember the last post I made with a thread similar to this, If I remember correctly, I put in: Lucky Star, The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Code Geass, Naruto.

And I ended up having it in my favorites in MAL from one time to another. I'll just say you can't judge an anime with first impressions. (With that philosophy, I manage to have Maria+Holic and Saki as my favorites.)

The only anime (or series) that I hate is the Gundam series. I gave one or another of the anime I try, but seriously, I just can't stand it.

⋚Raika⋚ May 23rd, 2009 4:55 AM

Naruto- It sucks big time...
The.......Suzimaya- One word: OVERRATED
Pokemon- Too predictable
Gundam- Too many kissing/perverted scenes

Sweet Jasmine May 30th, 2009 9:42 PM

I hate Naruto and DragonBalls it's soo Old and Yucks :3... And the Characters is like Over-acting, No Offense for the fans.

Sweet Visions May 31st, 2009 12:29 PM

I never really liked Naruto that much. I don't care for anime in general, I just like one, which happens to be disliked here. -tear tear

Dextrose May 31st, 2009 12:41 PM

Lucky Star, Ghost in the Shell, Kanon, Naruto, and the Bleach anime. I used to watch The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya but it was hard for me to stay interested in. I sat through an episode of One Piece (it comes on at 11PM where I live) and decided to just go to sleep the following night. o.o

redragon94 May 31st, 2009 1:10 PM

hope you are all joking...naruto and dragonball are like the best animes in japans history, they are legends, i guess you never watched it that far. the same goes for bleach, they are "must see" tbh.
an anime i cant stand is bobobobo bobobo - what is the plot and whats actually goin on?

Frequency May 31st, 2009 1:55 PM

That show is funny. It's a random anime.

Ayano Katagiri May 31st, 2009 7:34 PM

Anything I really, really couldn't stand I dropped almost straight away.
And as of recent, those would be:
- Akikan!
- Asu no Yoichi
- Kurokami
- Queen's Blade

I really hate mecha anime as well.. robots just aren't my thing (except in Code Geass :D).
Oh and the "mainstream" stuff like Naruto I detest.

iShini May 31st, 2009 7:44 PM

I really can't be bothered with anime anymore... That's why I read manga nowadays.

Fandoms mostly killed it for me.

-Pokemon post-Johto: Dozens of other people have said this five times better than I could.

Nooo....why'd they ruin Pika like that.....? He used to be my idol.....

-
Any other Nintendo anime (I.E. Mario or Zelda anime's)
-Dragon Ball ANYTHING. Used to like it. Of course, I also used to draw on the cats with sharpie.
-One Piece. Luffy<Naruto. AND NARUTO=VERY LOW IN THE FIRST PLACE!!
-Naruto (dubbed only). The original in Japanese is actually fine. ENGLISH SHIPPUDEN=DIAHRREA
-More when it comes to me.

Also, I'd like the record to show that Naruto<<<<<<<<<Grey Fox.

You mean like Shugo Chara or Naruto? The manga is WAAAAY faster than the anime, because they didn't want the anime to advance faster than the manga. That's why fillers are introduced.

Nah, there are a few good ones and there's not really any I can't stand, it's just that I don't think I'll ever watch some of them unless I have absolutely nothing to do. In general, anime adaptions of long running series are my fandom's kryptonite.
  • Naruto
Those are off the top of my head, although I should note that some of their manga counterparts I read, seeing as how it's original and just a lot faster.

C: Sometimes it messes up the story
So yeah...I love Naruto though (the manga I mean) don't get me wrong :) The anime just bugs me sometimes with all the fillers. Otherwise, I guess I don't mind it too much.

Yes, all of the posts I just quoted, I couldn't even say it better. Naturo is the main anime on Toonami I cannot stand. Naruto is the most overrated show in anime history.

Super Pichu May 31st, 2009 10:27 PM

I am not that into anime, but i used to like the pokemon show up until D/P, and i used to watch DBZ all the time, but i sorta grown out of it now, but i still play the games.
I feel out of place, as half of this forums population are anime fans, who have them in their avatars (not that thats bad) :P

Isabelle June 1st, 2009 2:44 AM

Probably Naruto. I just hate them. No Offense to the fans.

Azumi June 1st, 2009 4:48 AM

The poster a few posts ago makes me laugh when I see HOW many people hate Naruto. Even me, but meh.

Code Geass and anything recent by CLAMP.

LEARN TO ANATOMY, PLEASE.

Captain Fabio June 1st, 2009 5:27 AM

Lol, most people have said it. But Naruto.

I mean, I liked it when it started off, the best arc was the Zabuza (sp) and Haku arc.
I loved it :D

Now, it is horrid! ><

Vie June 5th, 2009 6:15 AM

I don't know the english names of some, but

Ah my Goddess
Manga Love Story
X
Death Note ( I just don't like it, has nothing to do with the mangaka)
Saint Seya
Hellsing

I really really think that some Mangaka should improve their skills in drawing and story writing. Dx

...I never said that I can do it better, btw. xD

Alec_ June 5th, 2009 7:52 AM

Probably " Naruto " It seems Old? ^_^ But many people love them. But me. In opposite.

~Fairytales.

Aether June 5th, 2009 10:09 PM

Pokemon post Johto. They pretty much stopped trying and just used the TV series to milk the franchise at that point.

I don't like One Piece much either, I don't like the art style.

Her June 5th, 2009 10:47 PM

Naruto. It's okay, but it is really overrated.

Giraffes? Giraffes! June 5th, 2009 11:10 PM

He is my master. Absolutely the most boring and lamest anime i have ever seen. The only good thing is the ecchi. Everything else is lame, i got to episode 7 and stopped because of boredom.

Autumnfox June 10th, 2009 4:55 PM

Lucky Star: The birthplace of weaboos. Everytime I go search 'Lucky Star' on Youtube, I see girls (who obviously think they're Japanese when they're not) doing horrible fandubs of songs and episodes. Seriously?

Naruto: Fanbase killed it, and it's overrated. Plus Youtube's spammed with it.

Pokemon After Hoenn: It lost its charm and plot-ideas. D:

Death Note: ...what the hell? You write someone's name in a book and it kills them? While I do admit that's original, the fanbase killed the whole damn thing.

AuraAshley June 10th, 2009 10:52 PM

i can only not stand one anime, and thats naruto. oh my god i hate naruto with a passion. its so stupid.

Naruto. I cannot stand that show. It's so confusing with it's nenjutso and fujutso and jewjutso. Can't they just settle on one stupid power to exploit?

did not someone posted today so i deleted last one

Basically all of them D:

Ahaha, but the ones I hate the most are Lucky Star (SO MUCH KAWAII DESU AHFRGH IT MAKES MY EYES BURN), Naruto (Overrated.), Pokemon after Johto/. I don't know, it just sucked once May and Dawn came in D:

Randurro June 13th, 2009 3:35 PM

To Love-Ru, Kanokon, and all the other ecchi anime I don't watch yet my dad calls me a pervert for. Because for some reason ecchi is the only anime he knows about besides Dragonball.

Lucy Lu June 14th, 2009 9:16 PM

I really don't like Bobobobo...whatever! That show is so dumb. It was very random. I watched about three episodes...and I thought I lost some brain cells. I had to stop watching it. I couldn't stand it. I think that is the only anime I got annoyed with. There are some I don't like, but I didn't get annoyed with them. I just thought they were pretty boring. :/ But that is another post for another time.

[email protected]@N !$ HERE June 16th, 2009 1:14 AM

favs and hates

I can't see how you don't like code geass. Its the best show ever. Naruto great too. I do hate death note and bobobobo, big O. gundam is great but isn't one of my favs. rave master is great and lagunn, bleach and dragon ball.

Ryoutarou June 16th, 2009 5:55 PM

I can't really stand Bleach as of late, I really haven't kept up with the show too much, but it seems like it's still pretty much going with the trends that made me drop it...excessively long battle after excessively long battle. I probably wouldn't mind too much if they were interesting battles, but they really don't have much going for them in terms of action direction and the story kinda doesn't want to go anywhere at a decent pace, sooo...it's pretty much like Dragonball Z with better animation.

Mewluvr200 June 17th, 2009 4:06 PM

The Yu-Gi-Oh spinoffs - specifically GX and 5D's. Card games on motorcycles. What a great concept.

The Sinnoh saga of Pokemon as well. Not really a fan of Dawn tbh. And yet I watch it anyway?

幕之内 一歩 June 17th, 2009 7:59 PM

Few Anime I can't Stand:

~Naruto: The english one anyways. I enjoy the Japanese version slightly more. I think it's the voices in the english version.
~Inuyasha: This anime is just one big high school drama that takes place in the present and past.
~Death Note: Seriously, what is up with the lame opening music? That alone turns me off from it. But the anime itself does annoy me as well.
~Dragonball/GT: I never liked the original Dragonball or GT series. First being too childish (though it actually had more adult situations - at least to America) and GT for being a wannabe be Z. People say Z was over the top, GT snatched the title and blew it away.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. If I think of more later, I'll let you know.

Pellio June 18th, 2009 5:38 PM

Any anime once dubbed into English T___T Why are the voice actors SO BAD?!
I only really like the first season of Pokemon; it was quirky, but I don't watch any of the new ones. I love the manga though.
Everyone's said it but; Naruto. I watched one episode and never again haha...
I want to stick up for Death Note though, I thought the art work was good and was an interesting story, obviously farfetched, but what anime isn't? And the characters didn't act as though it was completely normal to be able to kill someone by writing there name down!
Also; Dragonball= yuck!
