Now tell me would you?

chanchimi May 3rd, 2009 6:14 PM

Yes, of course I would get it! I'm actually really hoping that the game(s) to be announced will be GS remakes.

Haza May 3rd, 2009 6:14 PM

Id get both versions but first Id get the Gold Version.

La Foudre May 3rd, 2009 6:21 PM

Uhurrrr. I'd get the Gold Version, it was the first pokemon game I played.

Reina May 3rd, 2009 6:23 PM

Oh, I would so get it! Johto was my favourite region.. I would be sooo happy if that's what ended up being made. ;_; Lets keep on hoping!

"Shadow Lugia" May 3rd, 2009 6:27 PM

Of course. Silver is one of my favorite Pokemon games.

The Apprentice™ May 3rd, 2009 6:27 PM

I would love to defeat sixteen gym leaders again. It was the only game that was a challenge =] Also battling Ash was tough. I would like to battle him again.

Blue_Drifblim May 3rd, 2009 7:16 PM

Yeah, I think I would. I used to play Gold all the time when I was younger, so getting a remake would be awesome.

PaulH May 3rd, 2009 11:17 PM

100% yes to getting Gold.

sirboulevard May 3rd, 2009 11:30 PM

Yes, without a doubt. I dont know why someone would not.

Tanooki May 4th, 2009 12:33 AM

Yes.

Even though I'm not overly impressed with the idea of another set of remakes (mainly because I love the GBC originals just fine), I would be interested in seeing what they do with it. Plus, it's Pokemon. Considering I've invested into off-beat titles like Dash and Trozei, I'd definitly buy the G/S remakes.

AstrayX74 May 4th, 2009 1:03 AM

Definitely, but i'll probably have to play it on a flashcard or emulator as well.....I already spent quite a bit on Platinum.

bobandbill May 4th, 2009 2:10 AM

Yep. Even if I had the opportunity to get it early from Japan or something one way or another, once it hits Australia I'd buy it anyway. =D

Mitchman May 4th, 2009 2:51 AM

My urge to import every DS game I will ever own from America makes me say yes. Both not 1 but both.

BHwolfgang May 4th, 2009 3:03 AM

If it does happen, I would get Silver Version first, just for the sake of Lugia.

Preferably I would go for gold only for a level 70 Lugia instead of a level 70 Ho-oh.

Good point Mr drinking dog.

Btw I love your avatar XD.

Raykon May 4th, 2009 3:29 AM

Yes ... Pokemon silver/Gold was the first Pokemon games that I played, I remember it very much so It's when I got into Pokemon big time ... I used to like it before then when I was a little kid (4) and watched the first season on TV with my sister every morning, And in year 4 I had trained a lot of my Pokemon to level 100 and had played about 100 hours of game time ... If they do make a remake they will make a lot of money, Everyone has said they wanted a remake.

Second Coming of Jebus May 4th, 2009 4:05 AM

Hell yeah I would. Best. Pokemon. Games. EVER!

alisaie May 4th, 2009 4:28 AM

Yes. No question about it, I will definitely get the G/S remake. Silver, Gold, and Crystal were my first three games, and then it was a Yellow version. Johto is my Pokemon Region. 8DDD

Dunsparce May 4th, 2009 5:01 AM

I'd Import the Silver Version as soon as pre-orders become available in Japan u.u

And, unlike Platinum, I'd probably would get the English version, too.

Rassalon May 4th, 2009 6:42 AM

Hmm to be honest im not sure...
Why don't they skip G/S and, just make a remake of Crystal?

giradialkia May 4th, 2009 6:50 AM

It's probably accurate to say that almost everybody will/would get it- it's soooooo nostalgic for us players of the original GSC series, and a chance for people who got into Pokemon later to experience it for themselves. Not to mention a chance for them to find out what all the fuss is about in the first place.
EDIT: God i hope Nintendo don't screw it up though. By taking out the other Legendary, i mean. It's perfect being able to catch both Ho-oh and Lugia in Gold, but since Gen 3 you can only catch your version's mascot. They'll probably make a proper Ho-Oh/Lugia event- lol, it was completely optional for you to battle them, or just go and finish the game!

dotKarma May 4th, 2009 12:10 PM

Of course I will! First person in line probably...I've been waiting for these for ages

Because with Crystal, they'd only be releasing one version of the game. Whereas with G/S, they'd be releasing two versions of the same game, therefore, more cash to milk from fans.
