i was releasing some of my pokemon... (yh im sad lolz)
and i was releasing Lucario that i got from GTS... (Riley)
and it came back!
and i tried it again and again and again...
3 times i tried it and it never got released it just came back every time i tried to release it.

So has this ever happened to you?

-Kaiser- May 9th, 2009 3:36 AM

Has that Lucario HMs?(like rock smash)

Blaziken_Boy May 9th, 2009 3:43 PM

If a Pokemon has a high friendship rating with you, it will come back every time you attempt to release it.

It's true, my Walrein doesn't have any HM's.

Vie May 10th, 2009 1:14 AM

yes, this happened to me a few times. thats why I gave up on releasing some of em. if they want to stay in the nox forever then its their fault xDD

Jas_66 May 10th, 2009 4:45 AM

wow i wonder how many more stories ill hear about pokemon staying after trainers were trying to release them...
how very sad...
xD....
keep bibarel's...
good HM slaves lolz.

romeo May 10th, 2009 5:14 AM

its got nothing to do with hms, etc, it only works with a spercific natured pokemon, what nature was it?

Jas_66 May 10th, 2009 5:16 AM

the Nature is Careful
and y is everyone asking about my lucario lolz.
this thread is saying has it happened to you!
lolz oh well.

Immortal_one May 10th, 2009 5:21 AM

Never seen this happen to me >_>
If you really don't want it though, you could trade it to someone and have them release it D:

Jas_66 May 10th, 2009 5:35 AM

but it could be the same problem for them...
because wen u trade pokemon they can actually be stronger for some trainers.

JeTz May 11th, 2009 5:09 AM

Never happens to me. =\

Well, just hope your question can be solved as soon as possible.

Zelda May 11th, 2009 6:27 AM

Yeah, it has happened to me before. It happened with a...Pelipper.

BlueEew May 11th, 2009 6:37 AM

Can you find the Pokemon you released in the game again? I cannot believe I don't know the answer to this question. :|

Milke May 11th, 2009 7:32 AM

Ok, this is what it ACTUALLY IS:

You release a pokemon.
It comes back.
It says, "____ missed you!"

This has NOTHING to do with friendship. NOTHING to do with natures.

IF your pokemon has an HM and NO OTHER POKEMON IN YOUR BOX OR PARTY HAS THAT HM LEARNED, the pokemon will come back. And you will not be able to delete the HM from your pokemon,(the move deleter will say that ____ doesn't want to forget it) so just teach it to some other dude and then you can release it.

No. Once released, it is gone forever. Unless it's UT and not nicknamed and you just happen to run into another pokemon like it in the wild with the same IVs, nature, gender, etc. But the chances of that happening are lower than they are for shiny pokemon encounters.

Whenever you fight with a pokemon you received in a trade(IE, with a different ID no.) it will gain a "boosted" level of exp. Any pokemon with your ID no. will get normal exp. Also, pokemon with other ID no.s will disobey you if they get past a certain level if you have not beaten the gyms.

Ayano Hana May 11th, 2009 7:57 AM

I've had that happen a few times. I just move it to another box then.

Jas_66 May 11th, 2009 8:49 AM

well i wasn't trying to find out y its happening i just wanted to know if it happened to other people...
but o well its nice to know the anwser!

natedogg May 12th, 2009 11:53 AM

i tried it once and it didnt leave i tired it again later and then it left

Nnoitra Jiruga May 12th, 2009 3:27 PM

I...never knew that could happen. O :
Well...Riolu evolves into Lucario by max friendship, so I guess you're stuck with it ^^'

Shem May 12th, 2009 7:29 PM

that happened to me... kind of, I tried putting my Heatran on My Poke Ranch and it just kept coming back, same thing with a random Carvannah (sp?).

giradialkia May 12th, 2009 10:20 PM

Cool, it comes back? No, that's never happened to me. Mainly because i release crappy things like Unown, and stuff that i don't use.
Although 30000 steps maxes out happiness... I've had my HM slave Bidoof from the start.. CRAP, i'm stuck with it?! Lol. So, Jas_66, what actually happens? Does it just reappear, saying ''Wow, [POKEMON] came back!'' or what?

Raykon May 13th, 2009 12:08 AM

This has never happened to me ... Something to do with your friendship ...
